Dallas Travers is an IPEC certified Creative Career Coach, motivational speaker, President of Sage Creative, Inc. and author of the groundbreaking and award-winning new book, The Tao of Show Business. Infusing practical knowledge with inspired ideas, she has helped hundreds of actors and artists generate remarkable personal and professional breakthroughs. She provides lectures, training, and private coaching for actors, writers, and creative entrepreneurs across the globe.
In 2001, Dallas founded Sage Creative, Inc., an innovative consulting firm for actors, artists and other creative entrepreneurs. Since then, she has worked to counteract the many myths and stumbling blocks of the entertainment business by creating an environment where artists easily control of their own career paths.
During her time at Sage, Dallas noticed that her clients shared the same questions about career mastery, confidence, and basic marketing and management skills. She created workshops to address these very issues and continues to motivate actors and artists throughout the country at various events.
In the summer of 2008, Dallas released the acclaimed educational CD, Living Mantras: Mastering the Art of Positive Speaking. This CD introduces the simple yet transformative practice of consciously asking empowering questions in order produce new results in your career as well as your life. Dallas is also a contributing author to the award-winning anthology, Conscious Entrepreneurs, compiled by Christine Kloser.
Dallas Travers has recently launched her highly anticipated book, The Tao of Show Business. Applauded by entertainment industry writers, actors, coaches and directors, this book teaches actors the career and life skills often left out of traditional training programs. Dallas also practices what she preaches. She continually educates herself, sets and meets new career goals, and works to add value to the lives of everyone she meets. Dallas enjoys life in Los Angeles, CA where she lives with her husband and two dogs. When she’s not teaching, Dallas love to relax with her family, enjoy a great meal, and spend time with her friends.
