A fairly reliable source for travelers.

Frommers is my go-to source for travel guides, and this is a solid choice in its series. I always appreciate their “best of” lists at the front and their description of neighborhoods in the bigger cities. And I understand that publishers have to find a happy middle ground between providing enough detail to help travelers make decisions and keeping a travel book small enough that someone can stick it in a purse or pack without adding the burden of a lot of weight or bulk. However, this one felt a little on the light side to me when I was using it for a recent trip to Tucson, Phoenix, and national park sites. I would’ve liked a little more background and history in some of the descriptions of sightseeing options and outdoor activities. But I will definitely hold onto this book for our next trip to Arizona.

Excellent source to assist in planning a recent trip to Page and Sedona. I will use this to reference for a trip to Phoenix in the future.
