Very good insights throughout and space to think and pray through topics. I found it helpful to use the open space to dialog with the Lord on what was written and the scripture more than just the reflection questions at the end. This book doesn't lead you toward action, habits, or change except to lean on and depend on the Lord more in order to walk humbly with Him; however there is a natural integration into your life by focusing on the same topic over time.

This small meditation/study/journal on humility was a joy to visit each day. The scriptures and comments encourage private meditation as well as action and change. The watercolors woven throughout are so beautiful. I hope this is the beginning of a series. It will make a wonderful gift to likeminded friends of faith as well. This journal came along at just the right time for me. I was asked to preach on the topic of humility and the moments I spent each morning in this devotional prepared my heart to receive the efforts of the study. I enjoyed the focus on the texts of scripture and then the clear calls to meditation. I will be revisiting this journal in the future.

Really enjoyed this simple study. If you're looking for something dense and time-consuming, this is not it. Many of the references are very brief. BUT, if you're looking to meditate on a little Scripture at a time and think about how it applies to your life and spend time in prayer about it, this fits the bill.
