1984. The Sunset Strip in Los Angeles has become Mecca for would-be rockstars everywhere. For four high school friends, it's a place of legend, and a place where dreams can come true. But it's a long road to get there, unless you're willing to take some drastic steps. Steps like following rock 'n' roll tradition and selling your soul.
Of course, you can't make a demonic bargain and not expect consequences. Over the next few decades, these four learn the hard way that once you reach for darkness, it won't ever let you go.
The trip from wannabe to rock legend is a long one, you just have to be willing to pay The Price.

While pulling no punches when it comes to the rality of the rise and fall of rockstars and the troubles they go through, The Price is good ole rock and roll horror. The ending is a bit nuts but I read this thing in one sitting so I was obviously captivated and really hope these two authors team up again in the future. If you liked books like McCammon’s The Five, Simon Clark’s The Tower, or even King’s Revival, you’ll dig this for sure.
