it was sooooooooo GOOD!
At 18 Serenity spends her summer in Sunshine Coast at her aunt's. Well this small town isn't just really beautiful and relaxing, there are also two brothers who couldn't be more different...
Who will she resist? And why does her aunt and mom don't talk to each other?
Spend your summer with wonderful characters and a story full of surprises, confusion and lots of emotions!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS STORY!
Gail Haris knows how to make you fall in love with characters and this time isn't an exception!
When Serenity spends her summer at her aunt's she didn't know what to expect and... I definitely didn't expect something like this either! 😅

In this age gap romance, Serenity goes for the brother who is closer to her age rather than the brother who really gave her the spark at first site.
We get this short tale in a dual POV, with the time line from 8 years ago for the majority of the story; to get the back story of everything. So when we are brought back into the now, we know their love has just festered over the last 8 years of being apart. Their love has rekindled and Ashley makes all of Serenity’s dreams come true for them to live a true happily ever after!
In this age gap romance, Serenity goes for the brother who is closer to her age rather than the brother who really gave her the spark at first site.

Unpredictable, Imperfect, and Wonderful.
What’s not to love with characters that are flawed. No one is perfect. No one is that Hallmark cookie cutter character.
Here, you will find a young woman falling in love and making mistakes while she visits her aunt that has her own secrets.
You find a boy that finds responsibility as a drag and a man that is scared of giving into his feelings.
This novella did not feel rushed, the journey these characters go on was very well paced and highly enjoyable.

Out of all the books of this collection I have read so far this is the best one. Bravo to this author, perfect plot.
This book is short but captivating and it was a beautiful well rounded story.

This was a good book but I didn’t love it. It tells the story of Serenity and Ashley. Ashley is the older brother of a guy she dated, and after some time, Serenity returns to Sunshine Coast and is reunited with him, only this time, without the weight of his brother on her.
The thing I struggled with this book is what I said above is chapter 1. With then most of the book being in the past, and the final few chapters in the present. Understandably so, the past is so important to their present and really deemed the present. It was also extremely enjoyable and cute. But at first, there was confusion and then it resulted in a rushed ending, I found.
I do like what became of the younger brother though, and how the entire relationship between Ashely and Serenity got developed in the past.

Absolutely perfect! I’m a huge sucker for age gap romance and Alluring Serenity fit that perfectly without being predictable. With the dual time line and the difficulty Ashley and Serenity have accepting their attraction when they first meet it does not feel like a cliche age gap romance. After eight years apart Ashely and Serenity finally get their chance. There are twists that make for an unpredictable plot. Long buried family secrets, family drama and a brother that throws up every red flag possible. I can’t recommend Alluring Serenity enough. Gail created a masterpiece and I’m craving more of Ashley and Serenity as well as Zuri.

A must-have summer read you're going to love. I give this a five out of five stars because I just fell in love with Ashley and Serenity's love story. Ashley is like the older, hot brother that is off-limits and unattainable because of the age gap. At the same time, you want him even more because of this fact. Serenity is the kind of girl who likes to have fun and live in the moment. Trying to find the answers to the world's biggest questions. An ode to youth.
Gail Haris brought the pages to life and I can't thank her enough for this.

I love short stories that make you feel so much! Alluring Serenity was one of those stories, and I enjoyed every second of it. The story flowed beautifully! Heartbreak, second chance, and age gap; this book gave me some of the things I love in a book.
I like how the story progressed because it never felt rushed, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the characters!

Honest ARC review!!
This book deserves more than 5 stars! Gail did an amazing job with this book and the characters flowed perfectly even though its a short book. I started this book at 10:15pm & was done by 12:30am, I couldn't put this book down at all! Serenity's story will make you gasp quite a few times, with the unexpected events but definitely super happy with the ending for sure! 😍

Alluring Serenity is a short but sweet age gap romance about heartbreak and getting second chances. You get snippets of the past and the present, with more of the focus on the past. It has instant attraction. Overall this was an enjoyable read.
