I’m a writer, editor, mother, sister, daughter, and friend who after 30 years in academia is embarking on career 2.0 as an author of creative nonfiction and historical fiction. I've written several academic textbooks (with a confusing number of editions!) and a book based on my father's letters home during WWII that puts the experiences of growing up in battle in both historical and sociological context.
