Aria was the Luna of the Winter Mist Pack, renowned for her achievements in war strategy. Her contribution was crucial to her pack becoming the most powerful in the entire country. Everything in her life should be perfect... except that it wasn't. In actuality, Aria's life was anything but successful. She was helpless to the whims of her abusive Alpha mate and his mistress; a mate who never loved her. As she watched their relationship grow, her options are to run away or die trying to keep her Luna position; but, this is not the story of how Aria sways her Alpha mate's closed off heart until he finally loves her. No, this is the story of how Aria died. In the abyss, she is faced with the opportunity to go back in time and try again.
Will she take it or is she fated to relive her mistakes all over again?
I started reading this on Facebook. It looked pretty good and I was enjoying the storyline. The problem? I can't find this book anywhere. It says it's on the Good Novel app. I download the app, but it won't let me register or create any kind of an account. It won't let me read as a guest. It won't let me purchase coins to continue further. I've searched it on the web. Can't buy the book at Amazon or anywhere else. I'm a little confused as to who would write a book on a platform no one can access? I've tried reaching out to people, including the author herself and nothing. If you don't want your book read, take it down. Because from my perspective, at this point, it seems like a scam for the book platform to try and get money but produce no product. False advertising. And I will be reporting it as such since I am not able to reach anyone about it . No stars.
UPDATE!!!! Ok, it took me a minute to get to the right place for this story and by minute I mean 2 to 3 weeks. But I finally ended up where I needed to be to read it. Now having read it, in it's entirety? Loved it! Very creative story line and I can't say I've ever read anything similar before. I like the characters and their development and in this case redevelopment. Very unique with a very cool plot twist. Honestly, this should be a Kindle Unlimited book. Or if nothing else, self publish. I think more people should see and read it
It seemed very interesting & i wanted to finish reading it but apparently you can only read it on good novel, which would cost $50! Ridiculous . Hopefully the author will have the book more easily available in the future, like Amazon.
2.5 stars but with potential! Given the medium it was published on, the storyline was actually good. The level of writing improved from being written in the tone of a 13 year old girl to a skill level you’d expect from a freshman in college. Unfortunately, like others have said there were a few chapters that were dismissing completely and also there were endings of chapters that were also missing. For example the final showdown with the big bad, how that all went down is just not there. You go from an action is about to happen to all of the sudden were in the aftermath.
In the event that the author happens to see this review, it’s a good and interesting story. I encourage you to keep working on it, find someone that can edit it for you, and pursue publishing.
This was an interesting story. Like a lot of others, I started by reading a snippet on Facebook. I went to the app it was on but I refused to pay the outrageous price to read the whole thing (over $50!) I ended up googling the book to see how else to buy it and found it wasn’t available anywhere. I did discover it was available to read for free on a website so that is how I read the entire book. Unfortunately some of the chapters had formatting issues and some parts of the story were inexplicably missing. It was an extremely frustrating experience. I’ve never had to work so hard to read a book in my life. It’s almost like the author didn’t want me to read it.
However, I really enjoyed the story. A love triangle, a lot of fighting/action, some intriguing Gods/Goddesses, and the mystery of trying to figure out what is going on and how it will all resolve. It’s a good read if you have the patience to get through the hoops to read it.
This novel had a lot of up and down moments for me. One moment, I was completely sure I wouldn't keep reading it, the next I couldn't seem to put it down because I wanted to know what happened. In the end, I'm glad I stuck with it and finished it out.
Started out really strong and I was really loving it. So much potential. But a little over halfway through I began to loose interest and the negative started to out weigh the positive. A lot of things work for me in this story but there was more that didn’t. The FL descent into madness made her more and more unlikeable imo. And I felt that she wasn’t really redeemed enough for me to be satisfied with the ending. She was meant to be extremely smart but proceeded to do stupid stuff more frequently as the story went. She went from feeling mature (an adult soul in a teenagers body), to coming off juvenile (teenager in a adult body).
Also, I absolutely dislike the platform the author used. (So damn expensive to unlock one chapter and there is 108 chapters). But I’m not letting that effect my rating.
Well written with a captivating plot. It was much more than I usually expect from an app book! A couple things: the app costs money to read chapters. Quite a bit. It’s very frustrating when you should just be able to buy a book and be done with it, spending less. Also, while the first half of the book was great, I was about ready to riot through parts of the second half. There were some frustrating plot points and character development, but, ultimately, it still holds up and I just really had to know how it ended.
It’s essentially the plot of the web novel/manwha the Abandoned Empress. Most scenes are from that series but with a werewolf twist. I was getting loads of deja vu while reading it. So yeah the story is good but the Abandoned Empress is better.
Found this on a website & couldn’t stop reading! Great plot but like many have said missing chapters and chapter endings. Would love to see this author get the opportunity to have her story published bc the plot & twists were pretty well fleshed out.
3 stars. Interesting set- up and world but agreeing with others about editing. I liked parts but sometimes details felt disjointed as there was much left to the imagination of the reader and then a detail thrown in that seemed off. Interesting charcter interaction and relationship development.
This book is amazing! Highly recommend it. Such a good story.
Finding and reading the book was a total punish though. Purely due to the platforms it was on.
Really hoping this is published via kindle unlimited or self published or picked up by a company - it deserves a platform where it can be seen, found and experienced. Absolutely loved it. Couldn’t put it down (but had to, coz, responsibilities.. and work …)
Would go as far as to say I hope this becomes a movie one day. Would be fantastic!
So this review is broken down into 2 parts: the story & the format. Spoilers below.
First, the story: 3/3.5 stars
This story is addicting! I wouldn't say it's ground breaking (and I've seen the accusations of plagiarism- I've never read the empress manga, but the premise on Goodreads sounds uncomfortably similar :/) but the story kept me hooked from the beginning.
At first I was very VERY hesitant; I'm not ok with the idea of a woman going back in time to make her abuser fall in love with her. buuuttt this story actually made it work? I dunno how, but I ended up rooting for Adria and Aleric rather than the side story of Adria and Cai. I think it's because the romance wasn't really a main focal point and Adria/Aleric progressed naturally- she didn't want him back for the first half of the book.
The story has a lot (A LOT) of twists and turns. she goes back in time and rewrites history, she becomes a saint with powers essentially, first you think she's going to change her mate to Cai, then Thea might be a rogue werewolf, then Thea isn't who you think she is, then Cai finds his mate, then the mate turns out to be Thea tricking him, but Adria has started having feelings for Aleric again, then you think she's going to be alpha, then not, then she is, but Thea's powers are poisoning her brain... it's a lot.
The ending was a bit patchy for me. It felt like a bandaid being slapped on, everything worked out just a little too perfectly. Not only did Adria come back from the dead (again!) but so did her best friend who miraculously is Cai's actual mate? um, ew. that wasn't it. sorry. but overall the story kept me hooked and I had to find out what happened in the end.
Ok, the format. 1 star
This is a book found on one of those apps where you have to buy 'coins' to unlock each chapter. and honestly? IT IS SUCH A F*ING CASH GRAB. It's unethical imo. I 100% believe we should pay artists, writers, etc for their work but even NYTimes bestsellers sell their books for about $10. NOT $50+ what a fucking joke.
I ended up finding a free version online and read that. Now, the version I read had a lot of typos and formatting issues, along with a couple times where I would turn the 'page' and feel like I was missing information. but I got the overall jist. This could've just been because of the version I found and might not be the same if I had paid the app, at least hopefully! I'd be furious at spending $50 for that crap. but a few of the typos seemed to be from the story itself. For example, at one point we're reading about Elder Luke and in the next paragraph he's Alpha Luke, then back to Elder Luke. silly little things like that which are fine for free and/or KU type of books, but again, I'd be sooo mad at spending $50 for it.
An interesting premise and a long but good storyline with paranormal, action, and some stand out relationships.
The story starts off with a sad and then tragic premise. Quickly we meet the goddess and a big twist is shown to the story. There is great character building and world development in the story. This is a long story but it moved quickly and covers a lot of details, years and moments.
I enjoyed the story, but I think it would read better, reach more people and have better reviews if it was not only in the app GoodNovel. Having to pay per chapter and then have the chapters be just a few goes was frustrating and it broke up the flow of the story. Additionally, the pricing for the story (or any story on this app) is beyond absurd. I would give the app a one star, but didn’t want to hurt the review of the book by lowering the story review to reflect the app.
First, this is an expensive book. And I would have given zero because if I have to pay more than 50$ for the book, I expect to be well-written (grammar and plot wise). There were so many parts cut off, so many mistakes and some poorly developed subplots. In an online writing, I would have not cared about any of these issues but if the writer expects me to pay that much money, this is not acceptable.
I gave two stars solely because I really like the idea behind the book. I think the content was, albeit not novel, interesting and somewhat creative. FMC was not very likeable for my taste but to each its own I guess. I like the character developments for the boys. It was not “wow” but you know there was some development!
Anyhow, I hope the author will make these a kindle book so that we can read them at an acceptable price and enjoy the plot.
Like others have mentioned, I started from an excerpt on Facebook and was intrigued. As I found other platforms I found myself unable to stop in many places.. And that surprised me because normally I stay away from plots that deal with time/reincarnation as more often then not, plots become too messy.. which certainly there are moments of that, but I think the author has done very well overall in this case and I enjoy the writing style.
I myself have not finished it yet (currently somewhere near ch.80 or so) but the few platforms I've found so far have some repeated uploads and seemingly missing content. So if anyone has a suggestion on one with the full story, or even where to purchase, it would be appreciated as I'm quite invested!
I'm currently reading this book, which is reason I'm giving it a 3 star rating (will update if or when I finish it.) I first started reading the first 3 chapters on a post from Facebook and then went hunting to find where I could finish it. After some digging I did find a place I could read it for free(so far, I'm only on chapter 23). If you don't mind some weird formatting every so often and ads between paragraphs, read it on novelbold.com. I just searched the title and author a scrolled down a bit. The story itself had a interesting twist that has thrown me off completely and I'm gonna continue reading the book. It's a long one at 120 odd chapters. It has my attention until I finish it or get sick of the formatting errors and ads.
Personally, I thought the general plot of this book was good! The platform it’s on definitely hurts the reading experience and costs significantly more money to read than a normal book would. I think the author really showed progress in their writing as the story progressed. I usually hate books centered around werewolves, but I read the first couple chapters on a Facebook ad and got slightly invested😅 Even though I still cringed during a lot of the super wolfy parts, that whole aspect of the book could almost be ignored since the author isn’t drowning the plot in a bunch of shifting scenes. I think there’s even a spin-off series or continuation of the series but I don’t have any plans as of right now to read them. Props to the author though for having probably the best book on that platform!
Story has a lot of potential but also need a lot of polish. Absolutely hate the app it's on. If you want to read for free is possible but you'll be reading chapters at a snails pace but if you want to read at a normal pace, you'll be shelling out $$$ for coins to read chapters that get progressively more expensive. I would rather just purchase a an ebook on Kindle or even a paperback on Amazon. I know the author can't be making much off of scam apps like this and you don't get to keep the rights to your story either.
I was really interested in this book. Started reading from FB but it took more time to try and find where I can read it than it would to actually read it. Maybe the author should think about publishing on more easier platforms such as Amazon Kindle or consider publishing so people can buy the book in its entirety. I am so frustrated that I can't finish this book. Went online to novelebooks.com and it cut off more than half the page so I just gave up....What I have been able to read though is pretty good.
It's a good book but I only read maybe 7 or 8 chapters of it on a app that you have to use coins for in order to read the rest and I that's just something that I'm not going to waste money on. I think you should put this novel on a app that iss accessible for EVERYONE and where you don't have to pay for chapters a app like Fizzo Novel. I would love to keep reading this book but I refuse to spend money on coins.
The plot had so many layers and was well executed! Loved the ending and the character development was superb. This author should really start publishing her book on larger platforms like Amazon cuz it cost me a lot to finish this one book. Good luck with your future books cuz you have the potential to become a best-selling author!
So Facebook finally got me, and pulled me into the romance world again, after probably 10 or more years. I read this on one of those chapter by chapter sites. I wasn't in a good place and needed a distraction, and this book proved to be just what I needed. I want to read it again now that I have had a few more examples to compare, but from what I recall it was a very interesting read.
captured my attention and interest but in the end i didn’t quite understand the story since it had so many dying and reviving, changes in timeline, and so on… very confusing story, but the original plot seemed nice
Most chapters were really good. But the in last 10-15 chapters it was a moment that the book became monotonous and bored. I finished, but I almost didn't. I just finished because I expected to change to what it was at the beginning, but no. Hated the ending, hated the last chapters.
The book was amazing! It kept me drawn in and I couldn’t put it down. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars would be the reading platform. Very difficult/costly to read. But the plot deserves 5 stars.
