A young girl, Clara has been hit with the death of her caregiver and aunt of almost twenty years. The death was expected, but still created a hole in her heart that desperately wanted to be filled. Taking the deed to a new home her aunt left her, Clara travels hundreds of miles away leaving her job as a waitress, few friends, and a boy pining for her affections, in search of a new adventure.

Clara finds more than she bargained for when she arrives in Evergreen, a town secretly crawling with Werewolves that don’t take too kindly to strangers. Clara has wolves falling under her spell quickly with her kindness and open heart, creating new friendships and happy customers at her new job.

In an unexpected turn of events, Clara has been told she is in a Werewolf community and that she is mated to one of them. Not just any Werewolf, but to a visiting high-ranked Alpha. Future Alpha Kane of the Crimson Shadows.

Will Clara be able to tame the wild beast? Kane is ruthless, cutthroat, and covered in tattoos and piercings. His wolf, Torin, is a wolf to be reckoned with. Clara is the last hope to calm him enough to end the long-suffering of his rage and thirst for blood.

Not only does Clara find a new life, a mate, and a whole new supernatural world, she finds herself. No longer innocent and naïve she becomes a kick-ass strong heroine who becomes so much more in such little time.

♥This is the first book in a series called, Under the Moon, but can be read as a stand-alone. This is also considered an epic novel. Long, slow burn fantasy with spicy twists and cliche romance.♥

Book contains mature scenes, sexual encounters and strong language and kidnappings. Not meant for anyone under the age of 18.

this was a difficult book to read, like, finish!

First, the moving after mourning and starting a new life in a new place really works for me.
Sadly, there were more things that DID NOT work, that really made me irritated with the book and disappointed with the author.

PLEASE please PLEASE for the love of all that is holy PLEASE EDIT THIS MESS AGAIN!!!!!!!!
-There are some spelling errors, I can overlook that (it happens).
-there are some wrong words used: change instead of chance, quite instead of quiet, and instead of a (etc)
-there were missing commas, this was annoying because I found myself rereading SO many sentences and paragraphs because the meaning was lost.
-there were sentences that did not even make sense (I really hope the author didn't actually pay someone to edit this)
*-there were sentences that were just wrong, like the author started speaking from one person then in the MIDDLE OF THE SENTENCE it is someone else speaking (WTF?!)
-- like this one.. "the War God of Ares created" when it should say "the God of War, Ares, created" OR "Ares, the God of War, created" (there were A LOT of errors like this.. A LOT!)
-there were many cringy seccx scene moments, like this: "he sticks another finger into my wet cavern." the author uses "cavern" when speaking of Clara's V 11 times, she uses "his beast" to describe the H's man parts

Clara was another huge problem for me. First off, she is days away from her 20th birthday when she moves. She is introduced as quiet, shy, innocent and basically sheltered from years of being her aunt's caretaker. Yet when she moves she is so outgoing (walking into the diner and offering help when she only came to eat, she makes a point to get to know the customers, plays with the kids. Then she meets the alpha, and retracts into almost a child outside of the bedroom. She was so wishy washy and I honestly felt more connected to magic and adventure then I EVER did to Clara and Kane's "relationship".
Also, how all the men loved and wanted Clare... Kane (obviously because he's the H), Jasper, Marcelles, Sebastian, Ian (and his flock).. it was excessive.

The damsel in distress got old.. she is kidnapped TWICE by the same person, then blackmailed into leaving with shady people again

I honestly cannot even list the things that I didn't like about this book. I will not be reading the rest of this series or any more from this author. I am beyond burned out on this.

2.5 stars.

Oky so I did like the story. I think with more practice and a good editor this author's books can be amazing.

Spoilers but like ..not major spoilers.

Alrighty then let's get into it ..

What I liked:

• The sory overall was nice. Could have been better written but I liked the idea.
• I loved Clara. She is so sweet and caring. I love a strong heroin and badass heroin but Clara was strong in another way. She was a breath of fresh air.
• I like the mythology involved.
• The other world was a nice touch. Bringing in fae and other races. I am such a sucker for fae.
• I was happy to see a lot of the characters find their own HEA.
• Also I really did like the real emotion after Clara was rescued from Darius. It was awful what happened and instead of just brushing it off we see how she deals with it. How she feels and how she hurts. It was heartbreaking. But it was honest. And I think it's important to talk about the abuse and how you feel. And to then see Kane so loving and supportive, stay with her and tell her it wasn't her fault... It just.. i appreciated that in the book.

What i didn't like:

• A lot of grammar mistakes. Also a lot of times sentences didn't make sence because it was as if the author started writing the sentence and then wanted to change wording but forgot to erase the previous words.

• The possessiveness. It was soooo freakin annoying.
• Way too much sex scenes. It felt like it overpowered the entire story. It's all they did when they were together.
• The book was way too long. I was not looking forward to the last 100 pages. I just wanted the book to end. But the last 100 pages were actually my favourite part pf the book...huh. It would have just been better if this was a series. There was way too many things happening in this book. It felt like i was reading a omnibus.
• Which brings me to this... The kidnapping.. OH MY GOOOOSH. How many times does she have to be kidnapped..like shit. It got old quickly.
• Oh and don't get me started on when they were hiding things from Clara "to protect her" . Oh please. Yess don't tell Clara she will someday have some important power and that people are currently starting a war over her. Yes very wise choice. Like don't tell her and show her how to protect herself and use said power .. oh no.. not telling her will keep her safe. I mean her own mother keeps it from her... GUURRRLL you better fuckin tell her or i swear...
• Also a lot of miscommunication between some characters. Very annoying. "Oh yes Kane i did suspect she was your mate years ago and even tho i know you have been searching for your mate for a 100 years and was starting to lose your shit cuz u thought she was dead.. i decided not to tell you because.. things have to happen on their own.." . This is just one example. Very annoying.

But anyhow..

That's just my opinion. I see so much potential in this author. But please.. a good editor goes a long way. I will maybe read more of the author's books but first i gptta chrck the number of pages because damn. If it's like this book I don't think I can do it.

If you want to write a 500 page book you have to give me some plot and less sex. Like jeezz. This book was more romance than action. Plot was more like a side story to the characters and their lovemaking. BUT I did like the plot. There should just have been more of it.

Drags On & Needs Editing

This book drags on forever. It feels like you are slogging through a marsh trying to read it. The amount of misused words, missing words, misspelled words and extraneous words might have a significant impact on that slogging. If you’re incurring multiple errors every few pages it tends to throw you out of the story and slow things down significantly.

The story is over 500 pages long and I stopped full on reading at 38%. Then just skimmed to get the gist of the rest of the story as I could not take the slow pace and the errors anymore.

I won’t be attempting to read the next book in the series. It looks to be over 500 pages as well. Normally the page count of a good intriguing book wouldn’t bother me. (I recently finished a book with more than 100 chapters.) However, if the next book even has half of the errors of this one, it will be just as bad pace wise.

Please get an editor who can help you with sentence structure, misused words, pacing, etc. It would do worlds of wonder and encourage more people to read and finish your stories.

Just okay

One of my least liked tropes - girl is naive to the point of almost dumb who has zero back bone or sense of self worth. Being sheltered and shy is one thing, but not being able to have adult conversations or even talk to people is super cringe. She lets people just walk all over her and forgives constantly for no reason.

DNF at 75%

The story was so drawn out, like you could have made it multiple books. And there was too much and yet not enough description. It was rough.

Possible trigger: some minor physical torture (not detail), kidnapping

Possible spoiler ahead. Don't say I didn't warn you ;)

So, I'm trying up a new author each time and I tell you what, this one was quite a long-ass book. Yet, I was invested with the story as I drown myself in the story. This was a good book. A long one, but a good one too. The story went when our h, an orphan since a young age, was left alone when her aunt died. She took care of her aunt for as long as she remembered. Then, she died, giving up to a broken heart. Her uncle died a long time ago and her aunt never recovered from that and became mute. Surprisingly, her aunt left her a house in the middle of the close-knit community; a place she never knew existed. Moving there, she found a whole new world literally. Most important of all she found love.
description

As I said before this one was a long-ass book. Yet, the way Vera told the story was captivating and made me finish this book. No, sir. No, DNF, sir!
It also had a thorough back story. The way she told the story was clear too. An important one for a new-world-building kinda book. I like how she explained the terms (on paranormal beings in the book) in a simple way but not in too much detail so that it made me feel bored. It had all the good elements from the secret of birth, intrigue, a bit of action, and some steam; though personally, I think the steams were more medium-low. It was okay-ish.

The biggest attraction was how every time the story got to a conclusion, new things came up. I guess that's how this book kept me seated the whole time.

One thing that bother me though was the h's character. She was depicted to be an independent character with a sweet demeanour and a caring soul. The latter was what's made her get kidnapped twice (or three. I couldn't recall). And the author decided to give her some power up way nearing the end. I mean I was waiting for a long long time for something to happen so that she could be a kick-ass character. Well, I liked my h to be a badass one, so having the h have great power, in the end, was kinda bummer for me. Preference only, I like kick-ass heroine, preferably from the beginning. :))

I'm torn on this one, I loved the story line and even really enjoyed the first half of this book.

Our fmc has an unknown/hidden identity that they know nothing about and she's inherited her late family members house in a town so decides its time for a change and ends up going to the house in this strange town that operates differently. I gobbled this part up.

as the story goes on it seemed like everyone was obsessed with the FMC and I think she was Kidnapped no less than three times. it was driving me crazy, I will say that there is a reason why everyone was drawn to her but this book is a bit of a chunkster (600 something pgs), and it took a while to get to the reason. I felt like the length of the book could have been shorter and found myself skimming the last 200pgs.

will I continue the series? yes I think so Overall I did enjoy most of the book and am eager to see some of the side characters stories.

Cheesy

Started out good, yet the longer it went on, the Cheesier it got. @67% I just couldn't take where this whole book was going. I'm a big fan of sometimes less is more. And here, less definitely was needed. It just got to the point of becoming ridiculous. And by that point I was done with the storyline and characters.

great potential but worst heroine

After a long break from shifters I was really excited to pick this one.
The story is about Clara, who grew up with a mute, depressed aunt without any memories of her parents.
Clara and her aunt lived in a small town, where Clara did not really fit in, but dedicated her life to take care of her aunt.
Upon her aunts death, Clara inherited a cabin in a small unknown town and she decides to move.
Little does she know that the town is a shifters town.
At first she is completely unaware until Kane, a visiting Alpha comes around and recognises Clara as his mate.

The world building is great! Vampires, witches and a lot of characters with potential. Truly a solid build for a series.
My issues mainly have to do with Clara. The heroine is over-the-top, borderline ridiculous innocent. My 12 year old is not as innocent as this one. Yeah, she grew sheltered, and yet - never gone out with PEOPLE (let alone a guy), never danced, never anything?? At 19??
There are TV’s, and her reactions are like an alien witnessing human species when it comes to social interaction. So many “cringe” moments, I literally cringed and skipped. Also, what is with all the “squealing” and “squeaks”? I can understand once or twice, but as a general noise coming out of a 19 year old, seems juvenile.
This book could have been so so good if only the heroine wouldn’t have been a “just landed from Mars, ooohh a man…. ” type, just a tiny bit of snark, or fight, or actual character(!).
I don’t know if this type of heroines are featured throughout the series or this was a one-time (and if it is Thank God!), so I am conflicted whether to try the next one.
This book unfortunately I DNF’d and cut my losses (books are fun, this was making me cringe!) at 52%

Wolf shifters-Vampires/Fated Mate/human-wolf/multi PoV

SYNOPSIS: This is set in a world where humans and supernaturals live but the humans are not aware. The FC, Clara, is human and has lived a very sheltered life. Her sick aunt dies and she inherits a cabin in Ever Green so she decides to move there. She meets her fated mate who is the Alpha of a pack of wolves.

Heat Level: 🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆 Once the FC meets the MC the sex scenes start to increase. As the FC is extremely naive and innocent the sex scenes were cringy and the phrasing and terminology made these scenes the opposite of sexy and hot for me. I did not find them written particularly well. It was a case of an FC that was apparently so innocent she had never been kissed but apparently managed to turn into a deep throat on the first go!

This was a DNF for me which is rare as I usually finish a book even if I have to skim read. Unfortunately I found this terrible. The writing was clunky and adolescent, the FC was stupidly innocent and naive and she just came across as ignorant not sweet. The author waivers between “never been kissed” to deep throat and sexy nightdresses. It all jarred and I found her unlikeable. I had the same issue with the MC. The author was clearly trying to describe a possessive, dominant, strong alpha but what came across was a bully. Bloodthirsty, killing and torturing indiscriminately wolves who were supposed to be part of his pack, his friends, his warriors and enjoying the pain he inflicted. It was too OTT and I found nothing attractive about the MC.

I’m also not a fan of multi PoV where you get the PoV of multiple different players in a story and not just the main ones which I find detracts from building the story between the main protagonists.

All in all not for me and I won’t be reading any more of this author’s works.

translation problems?

This book has promise, but I don’t know what the early reviewers were reading to be able to give 5 stars. It meanders a lot through much over-thinking, which could be helped greatly by some editing. It bounces within sentences from past to present tense, which reads like a poor translation to English. There are a lot of typos that are very distracting. It’s like reading an early draft of a novel. After all that negativity, there is a decent and interesting story in there that would deserve a better rating if the problems could be tackled.

I really wanted to like this book. I read the whole thing even though I started skipping around 30%. I really didn’t care for scenes repeating after pov’s changed, it made the timeline confusing. Just didn’t find the flow of writing easy to ready or the plot fun to follow. Not for me.

DNF. I didn't get 100 pages in and realized it was an almost 600 page book. I just couldn't do it.

I think it would have potential after a very healthy revision and editing.

Honestly would’ve/should’ve DNFed this book but I’m stubborn and refuse to not finish something no matter how long it takes me (ie it took me 4 months from when I first picked up this book to actually finish it these past couple of days).

There are a lot of grammatical/spelling errors in this book. In my opinion one of the most noticeable (and most irritating to me) was the spelling of characters changed even when the name was used twice in the same paragraph (Sebastian or Sabastian—whatever his name was). Which I feel just shows that this book wasn’t edited or really re-read before publishing.

Now, if I was 13 again and was reading this on Wattpad, I probably wouldn’t have hated it as much, but there really was no significant plot in this story. Clara, the main character, had multiple “climaxes” if you could call it that because she gets kidnapped/hurt at least 3 times throughout the story and has 5+ characters other then her main love interest “fall in love with her”. But it doesn’t have a point to which it felt like it ended. It was kind of just following drama that was happening around her with some snarly werewolf terminology thrown in, and mates getting thrown around left, right, and center.

To me the writing felt very juvenile in terms of writing, like I said previously, if it was on Wattpad when I was younger I probably wouldn’t have such a strong hate for it. But it made reading the book really hard to get into where you feel like you are part of the world. It got to the point where I started heavily skimming it because most of the paragraphs (and even some whole chapters) weren’t necessary in order to still follow “the plot”.

I think if the author went back through and did even minor editing, it would be a huge improvement for the book.

Vera sets the story up quickly and gracefully so you’re not left wondering if the story will ever begin. Just when you think they will have their happily ever after, BOOM 💥, something happens and keeps you on your toes. I never wanted to put the book down.

I’ve never met a couple so in love with such a deep connection. Clara is human and is thrust into a world of werewolves she had no idea existed, but she doesn’t let that cloud her sunshine. Kane is a very possessive Alpha with a love so fierce, he would burn down the entire world to save Clara. I do love myself a hopelessly in love, possessive alpha ♥️. Only Clara can calm the beast when he’s getting a little feisty 😉.

The author has created a whole world alongside our earth world for all of these magically creatures. This book is only the beginning of many many love stories with 2 different series intermixing. They are all stand alones but are much better when read in order. They feed off of each other. She even gets into the Greek Gods!! 🤗🤗

It is a V E R Y spicy book (so definitely for 18+). The spicy scenes are actually well written so you feel their love and lust for each other. Some books kind of leave you with a PG feeling after you read a scene, but not this one 😆🫣!

Heads up, there are a few spelling mistakes and some name change errors from when Vera started off writing on the Dreame app, but she has slowly been correcting everything.

You can read this on KU or buy the book from Amazon. She has the regular cover and a “discreet” cover options!

One of my all time favourite books, author and series
Vera Foxx’s Under the Moon is a captivating blend of slow-burn romance, supernatural intrigue, and personal transformation. The story follows Clara, a young woman grappling with the loss of her beloved aunt and caregiver. Seeking a fresh start, she relocates to Evergreen, a secluded town shrouded in mystery. Unbeknownst to her, Evergreen harbors a secret: it’s inhabited by werewolves.

Clara’s arrival doesn’t go unnoticed. Her genuine kindness and resilience quickly endear her to the townsfolk. However, her world is upended when she learns she’s the fated mate of Kane, the formidable future Alpha of the Crimson Shadows pack. Kane is a brooding, tattooed enigma, battling inner demons and a volatile wolf named Torin. His intense “touch her and die” demeanor is both intimidating and alluring.

As Clara navigates this new reality, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, evolving from a grieving waitress into a formidable heroine. Her relationship with Kane is a testament to the transformative power of love and trust. Their chemistry is palpable, and the romantic tension is masterfully built, culminating in moments that are both tender and steamy.

Foxx’s storytelling is rich and immersive, weaving themes of destiny, identity, and redemption. The narrative is peppered with humor, heartfelt moments, and just the right amount of spice. For fans of paranormal romance and tales of fated mates, Under the Moon is a must-read.

Plot and characters - 4 ⭐
Editing - 0 ⭐
Writing - 3 ⭐
Fun factor - 5⭐

This is an epic fantasy book (that started as urban fantasy or paranormal) with an amazing plot, full of twist and turns, where the love between the MCs takes center stage. My only critique regarding the plot is that it could have been spread into two books - there was enough happening for some of the plot lines to be more profound. It didn't need to, but could have been.

The characters are just perfect! All different, all tri-dimensional and, by the end of the book, most have grown.

There is insta love (this is, after all, a forever mates story) and I didn't mind it at all. Some reviewers complained about . I actually understood this very well.

Now, the editing was ABYSMAL. I never saw anything like this!!! 😲. in 500 pages, there were at least 1000 phrases (stopped counting at that number) that didn't make sense because one of the words wasn't correct, or the verb tenses were wrong, or the names were wrong. There were at least the triple of that worth of typos and wrong verb tenses.
I guess nobody edited this. Worse: I guess nobody. not even the author, reread the manuscript after writing it and before sending to print !!!!

The writing style was not bad at all. Aside from the intentional verb tense errors (tons of "had" instead of "have" tense), it was good and kept me enthralled to finish the book despite the annoying editing problems. And the pace was really good, no stalling or filler.

I gave two stars because I really liked the idea of the story. The world the author set up has a lot of potential. The characters could have been amazing. The execution of it needs a lot of work though.

The bones of the story are really good. I was excited to read this. However, purity culture and inconsistency ruined this book.
I understand an innocent FMC. But this was taken too far. During a spicy finger scene "he touched places I never knew pleasure could amount from".... Really? Cause she's 20 and went to public school. She had no idea sex was pleasurable???
She wore short shorts, a tank top, and thigh high socks and had no idea it would be considered attractive???
During a make out scene she's straddling the MMC and rocking against him but didn't know to do it, but she knew what grinding while dancing is??? It doesn't make sense.

I won't go into the editing errors. Others have covered that at length. However, consistency in this book really needs work. Example: we are told Clara's aunt had extensive damage to her vocal cords and can't speak. Then later in the book Clara muses that her aunt could have spoken if she had wanted to.

TW: The crippling depression her aunt suffered is detailed out multiple times. And yet Clara's thoughts at one point are that she didn't want to be weak like her aunt. Maybe the author needs a sensitivity reader.

I wanted to love this book but it dragged on and was hard to like from about midway. It was cringe at times and straight up irritating at others. How many times can one person get kidnapped ugh. The clichés in this book never ended. My favourite part was the epilogue about Dax and Dimitri which the last book in the series is based on and was the first Vera Foxx book I read and I loved it immensely. Clara was good in the beginning but then just got consistently more and more annoying with her self-doubt, I'm so weak BS, then let's give everyone a second chance and get involved in everyone elses relationships...girl please!. Kane was a gorgeous Alpha being transformed from a sadistic monster to more of a compassionate man by his mate's kind nature. Some parts were BS like Werewolves hate the smell of vampires bodies of rotting dead flesh. Next minute, three of them find vampire mates lol like, really. Like suddenly the rotting dead flesh smell is pleasant, is it.... Yeah right. The mates thing was so overdramatic, assuming all mates are good functional people without problems or evil tendencies just because they are attracted to them and really don't know them whatsoever, especially after they've just been on the side of the enemy. The spicy parts were good and one of the better things about the book. There wasn't too much sex but rather just enough.

Absolutely fantastic story!

I couldn't put this book down, which says a lot because it's so long. It's more than twice as long as any story I've read on Amazon Kindle in the past year of constant reading. I loved that the story didn't end after one battle, and then the damsel was rescued. There was so much stuff that happened in this story, it was crazy! I loved all of the characters, and there were so many, they changed as the story's background changed, but they were all great. The only part I thought could use some work was the sex scenes. It was almost as if they were written by someone with a lack of experience writing sex scenes. Some of them were short and a bit chaste. They had a lot of room for improvement. This book wasn't highly professionally written, but it was easy to overlook that because the story was so good. There are a bunch more books in this series, and I hope they are just as good and as long as this one is. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to experience things like adventure, romance, love, sex and mating, magic, betrayal, mystery, supernatural, suspense, sadness, hopefulness, action, humour, fantasy, horror, and kindness. Enjoy!

Lost princess!

Clara was raised by her mute aunt Margaret. She has led a very sheltered life in a small town. She is very naïve, trusting and happy. I mean a very truly happy person. She sees the good in everyone. She doesn’t remember her parents and is surprised at inheriting a cabin when her aunt dies.
When she decides to move to the cabin she lands on a weird kind of town. Something is off but trusting Clara takes it in stride. She makes new friends and befriended all diners where she works.
Kane is the Alpha shifter that has grown weary and hard while waiting for his mate. When Clara sees him she is drawn to him but he insults her. Her friend Jasper infused her with his scent ( without her knowledge) so Kane doesn’t recognize her.
Then begins the grand adventure of Clara’s life!
She will find a true love with Kane and her life will never be boring. She is so sweet 🥹 and hi is soo Alpha but a puppy in her hands!
I won’t give away the whole story but it is worth reading.
True HEA is achieved and I’m going to look for the next book.

I really enjoyed the first 50 or so percent of this book.... and then the rest happened. This could have stopped at the half way area and been an amazing book. It just felt like there was too many ideas and the book didn't want to end. Like there was literally 3 different stories in this one story. It could have ended after the first one and the next 2 things could have been it's own book with things more drawn out and some other things thrown in. Instead our FMC was kidnapped 3 times and there was everyone under the sun trying to make her their mate. It was just...a lot. I felt myself getting exhausted by all that was happening. I just wanted it to end, meanwhile the beginning was so good! It just could have ended almost 200 pages earlier.
The spice used some....interesting wording. Like cavern and manhood. It was very interesting to say the least. It took me out of it at times and it was very... basic. Like it tried but it just wasn't all that. I gave it a 2.5 out of 5. Overall I gave this book a 2. If it just didn't drag out for as long as it did, I'd give it a higher rating but it just made me continually check what percentage I was at because I was ready for it to be over. I probably would not recommend this book.

Part of the Under the Moon series this is a new author for me but I will say this a long book (not complaining) but there needs to be a warning because you will find yourself up all night just to see what happens next. Clara life wasn’t the easiest but her aunt/uncle loved her although, her aunt was mute due to not being able to cope with the death of her husband she took care of her aunt until she died learning that her aunt left her a cabin so now she has a decision to make stay in the town she knows working a dead-end job or taka a chance on a new beginning and finding a new world. A world she never knew existed or ever dreamed she would be the one people are fighting over/about. Alpha Kane sexy as all get out shifter known as the beast, he can dangerous favorite things was to kick a** for the most part, most people /shifters ran away when he showed up and he didn’t have a mate so when the new girl shows up and unafraid of him, he knew she was his. This is where their adventure really begins so buckle up where are they headed?

I’m not sure if this book is the authors first ever book but it is WAY drawn out. Everything is so detailed. Every persons clothes, every room, every tree, every everything to the point it distracts from the story. Honestly this book could be cut down by 2/3 and have been a good and decent read. The premise of a good story is here. It’s just drug down and made so utterly boring by all the extra and unneeded word garbage. A good editor is what this book needs! It took me days and days to finish this book because it just got so boring and felt like it would never end. Like I said, there are so many unneeded words that just drug the story out and made it boring. It was unnecessary details that in no way added to the story line or moved it forward at all. And the other thing that bothered me is just drama for the sake of drama that continues just to drag this painful book out to the bitter end. I’m so but not every single male that comes into contact with the heroine needs to want her. The amount of eye rolling I did was ridiculous.
