Nanovax was supposed to be our salvation.
Death and disease, now obsolete.

Until the terrorist attack. Fifteen cities in a single day.

Again, they said Nanovax was the answer.

The same technology meant to heal us could now be used, through an algorithm, to track us, to predict human behaviors...

To thwart future terrorists.

I'm Lieutenant Brian Goff. I received the first injection.

It healed my wounds in the war. I became the face of Nanovax...

Then, the algorithm identified me as a threat... a terrorist...

Now, I'm on the run and fighting against the very technology that once saved my life... and if that wasn't frightening enough...

The government has my daughter.

Algorithm is the first book in Theophilus Monroe's Nanoverse, an action packed dystopian sci fi thriller series. As a former soldier, suffering from PTSD, Brian Goff is not only a threat to the new system, but his very injury has given him control over the nanobots. Like Neo, in The Matrix, Goff is an unlikely hero whose "technomagic" makes him the the last hope for human liberty, freedom, and justice.

ALSO INCLUDED:
Nanoswarm (Book 2):
The nanonetwork has been upgraded.
I can still access the nanobots...
But when I do, it leaves the host unconscious. Transferring their mind into the nanoswarm.
Dr. Archimedes Flat is expanding his nanoverse. Collecting minds to craft a new "utopia" forged from collective memory.
He believes it's the next step in human evolution.
And if a few people have to die to make it happen, well, in his mind that's nothing more than the survival of the fittest.
If I'm going to stop him, I'll have to fight him in the nanoverse itself.
But Flat designed the nanoverse. He's it's architect. The god of his digital world.
How can I possibly defeat the maker of the nanoverse from within his own creation? After all, in the nanoverse, Flat makes all the rules.

Posthuman (Book 3):
I'm losing myself in the nanoverse...
Am I even human anymore?
So many connections... so many people...
But where am I?
The resistance has been attacked.
How can I even fight back if I can't find myself?
I'll have to enter the nanonetwork myself...
If I can't set up a firewall to protect my identity...
I'll be lost forever.

Nanowar (Book 4):
The enemy has learned how to replicate in the nanoverse.
His plan remains the same.
To usher in the next chapter of human evolution. To convert all of humanity into a digital species, inhabiting a digital world.
The government has fallen.
The resistance is in turmoil.
If I'm going to save humanity I have no choice but to destroy the nanoverse.
But can I do that without also destroying myself?

Theophilus Monroe is a fantasy author with a knack for real-life characters whose supernatural experiences speak to the pangs of ordinary life. After earning his Ph.D. in Theology, he decided that academic treatises that no one will read (beyond other academics) was a dull way to spend his life. So, he began using his background in religious studies to create new worlds and forms of magic-informed by religious myths, ancient and modern-that would intrigue readers, inspire imaginations, and speak to real-world problems in fantastical ways.

Algorithm: A Dystopian Sci-Fi Technothriller
Wow, this is so different then what I have read of Theophilus Monroe books. We have the future technology. Is it really what they say? Will it really help us? Brian Goff is the first to get injected after his injuries in war. But what are they really doing to him? Now everyone has them. They can live without diseases or other life threatening stuff. But what is this Algorithm, can it really detected a threat in people? Follow Brian and the resistance as they figure it out.

Nanoswarm: A Dystopian Sci-Fi Technothriller (Nanoverse Book 2)
We have the future technology. Its science in the future. Can it really do this. Can Brian Goff really help? Will the resistense be able to stop Flat? Will Flat be able to expand his nanoverse? Can Goff stop him from taking over people to his new nanoverse? Can Goff live or will Flat over take him in the nanoverse? Why is he so much different then others? Can he save the people Flat has already take? What will happen to them all?

Posthuman: A Dystopian Sci-Fi Technothriller (Nanoverse Book 3)

We have a Sci-Fi book about Nanobats that has been injected into everyone. This is the 3rd book in the series and I will say that Theophilus Manore describes everything with a lot of detail so you can just imagine in your mind exactly what it looks like. We are still following Brian Goff and the resistance who are trying to stop the Algorithm that Flat is still controlling. Will they be able to fine the firewall to try to stop Flat? Will Flat outsmart them again and bring more people into the Nanoverse? AT points it will be heart stopping, at others you will want to jump in and help.

Nanowar: A Dystopian Sci-Fi Technothriller (Nanoverse Book 4)

Theophilus has weaved a story of Brilliant minds and what could happen. The Nano bots are taking over the world. There are so many scenarios, but what one will be right? Can Groff stop everyone from being nanos i the world instead of human? What is going to happen? Will everyone die? Who is smarter the tech world that was developed or the humans that started it?.

These are a set of 4 books Algorithm, Nanoswarm, Posthuman and Nanowar. These books are set in the USA and feature Lt Goff, the main protagonist. This is time where every person in the US is injected with Nanobots, small robot-like things that are connected to a large Nanosystem. The nanobots heal all injuries and prolong life. But they also monitor for terrorist activities. Lt. Goff is playing with his daughter at a park when he has a PTSD flashback and is immediately “seized” by the nanobots and declared a terrorist. He is on his way to prison when he is rescued by the “resistance.” The 4 books are about how the situation develops from there.

The author has an amazing imagination. That is crystal clear throughout the four books. Unfortunately for me that was the best thing about the books. The execution was not great. I expected to be pulled into the story and be unable to put the books down (this is my usual reaction) but I was so bored. I read the first half of the first book and after that had to force myself to continue reading. I just did not enjoy it. The writing did not pull me in, the characters did not seem to have much depth and the story had a lot of holes. Each book moved at warp speed and the protagonists’ made connections and suppositions about what was going on and these assumptions were always correct. No one was ever wrong. In each book, the antagonist was always 10 steps ahead and achieved remarkable and unbelievable things and then the protagonists were just able to figure out what he was up to (without error) and defeat him. And many things done in the book were unbelievable mainly because of the speed at which they happened. It felt like a slog.

I know I am in the minority and many people have given the books 5 stars, but not for me. I cannot recommend these books. There are much better scifi books out there.

This boxset contains all four books in the Nanoverse series, Algorithm; Nanoswarm; Posthuman; and Nanowar. The main character in the series is Lieutenant Brian Goff, who was the first person to ever be given the Nanovax injection, to heal him from his deadly wounds in a war zone. It healed his wounds, but he was left with PTSD. Years after, he is enjoying looking after his daughter, having lost his wife, when he is suddenly being arrested. They accuse him of being part of a huge terrorist attack on fifteen cities in a single day and it is the technology behind Nanovax that can heal people, but also predict their behaviour through an algorithm, in the hope of stopping any future such attacks and the terrorists behind them. Luckily for Goff, a resistance group rescue him from the robots come to arrest him and take him away to a safe house, shielded from discovery. The government who classed him a terrorist, have got his daughter and he wants her back.
Dr Archimedes Flat is the scientist behind the original nanonetwork, but he now wants to gets his dead wife back and sees expanding the Nanoverse as the way to do this. He wants to collect minds and memories from others to build the Nanoverse, the more he gets, the more of his wife will be remembered. The Nanovax is something that was rolled out to all and many have an implant to access the Nanoverse. Dr Flat uses a back door into this program to gain more hosts, leaving the people unconscious and their bodies wasting away, as they get their dreams and fantasies met in the Nanoverse. He thinks he is taking the next step in human evolution, but those he has trapped in there, have no idea that their bodies will die and then they will never be able to return to their normal existence. But then again, some would rather live a fantasy than reality! Goff’s PTSD allows him to connect his nanobots to the Nanoverse and interact in people’s scenarios there. He needs to stop Dr Flat and his plans, before too many people are killed.
The resistance are still trying to take down Dr Flat, who has left his human body behind and allowed himself to become part of the whole Nanoverse he helped to create. He is actively seeking other humans to populate his world and to use their nanobots to help him achieve his own aims. He knows that Brian is probably the only person that can stop his plans and he is always way ahead of the resistance and their attempts to stop him. Even the new president of the USA, President Davies, is worried that Dr Flat will manage to kill more of the population, the more powerful he becomes in the Nanoverse. All of the population has been injected with nanobots, with only Dr Flat, Brian Goff and his fellow Marine, Bonecrusher Koontz having the original version of the nanobots. Goff is still learning about the Nanoverse and what he can do in it, whilst Dr Flat is existing in it and multiplying! Dr Larson still leads the resistance along with his wife Eloise, and they have Father Ezra, another person unaffected by the nanobots because of his faith, and a few others. They are stuck in a lead lined safe house, to ensure Flat can’t infect their nanobots, even though the others wear an inhibitor. Brian’s young daughter is there with him as well as his possible love interest Liza, although their first and only date was ruined when Flat forcibly killed loads of people with inhibitors in the city as well as the restaurant they were both at! Brian has even started to visit the Nanoverse in his sleep, which could prove very dangerous for the rest of the world if Dr Flat could capture him and stop his ability to take him down. Dr Flat has already used his daughter against him, to try and get to Brian and stop him. Flat now goes a roundabout way to infect one of the team, leaving a trace of his firewall visible for their team to follow. Brian and Liza travel into the Nanoverse and into the scenario of the host, whose life is being lived out again according to their desires, but it is a trap and although they know it probably is, they can’t do much against it.
Dr Larson, of the resistance, has been given the nanobots cocktail of injections to keep the country safe. Only that’s not much use when Dr Flat has replicated himself so many times, his other selves can lure more people to connect to the Nanoverse and leave their weak humans bodies to rot away, to supposedly get their own versions of paradise. Only Dr Flat doesn’t seem to care what happens to the people themselves, only that they join his Nanoverse and bring their memories of the world to help create a better version of his dream world. He has changed the way people interact with the world and taken a next step in human evolution that has almost ninety percent of the world’s population whose bodies are about to expire! Brian Goff is the only person who can enter the Nanoverse to fight Dr Flat and have any chance of winning, but doing so leaves his human body vulnerable! Liza is happy to keep him safe, but his daughter Susie and the others, Eloise, Seneca, and Father Ezra, with Keith Bonecrusher to protect them, must escape to a new safe haven, after Dr Flat sends hundreds of bodies to their resistance HQ, to force Brian to run. If he is constantly running for his life, he won’t be able to enter the Nanoverse and stop the multitude of Dr Flat’s from killing everyone’s bodies off. Brian wants to try and ensure he can disconnect as many people from the Nanoverse, as he can, allowing them to get back into their bodies, with the hopes many of them would survive and not just be left in a coma! Dr Flat however, has already worked out their plans multiple times and knows what they are all likely to do, even before they actually do it! It makes him almost impossible to stop, especially since many versions of him have de-sensitised themselves to their human emotions and are willing to do just about anything to keep their existence and growth in the Nanoverse alive.
Brian has to try and save humanity, but in doing so, he may have to give up everything he loves. If he manages to disconnect the Nanoverse, all those who are in it whose bodies are no longer viable, will perish. Their memories and thoughts lost in the winds of time. If he allows the Nanoverse to continue, it can’t do so with all the different versions of Dr Flat, who have evolved well past human morality, to embrace this new universe and way of life. They will do anything to stop him and there is one last huge sting in the tail that Dr Flat had prepared for when the chips were down, and it might not be something Brian can do alone, nor one he can allow to go forward without altering his present action plan to stop Dr Flat once and for all.
A hair raising ending to the series, with all the main characters in danger and facing versions of the originator of the Nanoverse, who have evolved into beings who don’t respond to rationale in the same way humans do and believe their way is the only way to survive. A fantastic boxset that takes you right through all the battles for the Nanoverse and the lives of all of humanity. Goff and the resistance are fighting against a man who wants to control a new world and doesn’t mind who he kills on the way. Only one man can stop him and he is going up against a man who always seems to be two steps ahead of him and the rest of the resistance, no matter what they try to do. Using Goff’s only daughter as a pawn in the battle, is a low blow by Dr Flat and he needs to be stopped before all of humanity are stuck in the Nanoverse and have no way back! I received an ARC copy of this boxset from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the books above.

Fantasy with a SciFi Facade ...

This is a collection of four(4) quick (3+ hours ea) fantasy stories set in a fantasy world wearing the skin of a cyberpunk genre … because it’s all about uses the new buzzword nano as much as possible without any real knowledge of what they are are how they would actually work. Maybe that is just my inner geek chanting that is not how that works in my head for almost the entire book (IOW I know too much about the tech and had a hard time letting go). Regardless … while the story doesn’t work well within the generally accepted norms of SciFi, it was a fairly typical Fantasy that is build to leverage a virtual (fantasy) world concept along the lines of the matrix, upload or free guy where the bad guy mysteriously works toward the total destruction of the real world. It’s not a bad plot … however, it has been done much better else where.

The story begins with an example of unintended consequences despite good intentions when a vaccine is developed to introduce nanites into the human body that would be tasked with healing wounds and preventing disease. Patient Zero is a badly wounded soldier who would probably have died otherwise, so with that success story behind the program, the government mandates nanovax for everybody … and hidden within those nanites is the ability to network into the public cloud to spy on the host AND take over the human conscious … a la mind control (maybe I am reading the tealeaves wrong here, but this part of the story starts to read like covid antivax conspiracies that didn’t help with the whole suspension of disbelief needed to fully enjoy the story).

That is where the algorithm comes in … which works sorta like minority report in that it predicts aberrant behavior ahead of time and reports it to the authorities who controls the nanites which can then control the host. Of course, in this paranoid fantasy, our hero is a threat to the system because his PTSD has change his mind enough that he can’t be controlled and that makes him a terrorist … only before the government can take him out back and shoot him, he is rescued by the resistance so that he can eventually defeat the algorithm.

Of course that is not the end … in part 2 the nanites can now swarm (in say 500 in each cloud) externally and possess others in the physical world … and apparently host an uploaded consciousness and associated memories all in readable code with individual global network addresses … so the resistance moves from minority report into the matrix here … again with a lot less finesse. We also begin to see the hero’s daughter make her debut as the bad guys cats paw … something that didn’t really work for me. This actually becomes a central theme in Post Human as the action moves almost entirely into the virtual world and a race to avoid an apocalypse in the real world. This part of the story calls to mind elements of the bobiverse with all the consciousness cloning. It all wraps up with a redemption arc in the final installment, which for better or for worse can actually stand on its own with no significant inspiration from other stories, but which does get a little preachy with a hint of Judeo-Christian theology … for me, this was actually the best of the four (4)

Book 1: Algorithm (3:56)
Book 2: Nanoswarm (3:43)
Book 3: Posthuman (3:15)
Book 4: Nanowar (2:32)

There's an expression that says, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." The corollary to that statement might as well be, "Any insufficiently explained technology might as well just be called magic." Personally, I like science fiction that attempts to draw some sort of line from the present to "if we continue on this path of technological advancement, here's what could happen." I failed to find that here.

This universe's version of "nanobots" are basically a superpower. You'll never get sick or break a bone because you'll be healed immediately. You'll be stronger, run faster, jump higher. All the nanobot swarms are also connected in this virtual reality "nanoverse" where you can cruise around in a world of your own creation (Disney World with no lines!), or through the point of view of anybody else in the nanoverse.

You can also apparently send your nanobots out of your body at will, including into other people, where even leaving behind just a single nanobot might allow you the ability to track the person like an Apple Airtag. I'd love to know what's powering these things.

Of course, if you're the bad guy who invented this magical technology, it also allows you to remotely control assassins, or just start randomly exploding innocent bystanders to prove you mean business.

The author tries to explore some philosophical ideas about religion, life and death, living forever in virtual reality, but it's nothing that hasn't been done before. And if you've been craving yet another story that plays into the "love is the strongest magic of all" trope, you won't be disappointed.

All that is not to say books like this don't have entertainment value. It's just that this one reads exactly like a straight-to-DVD technothriller starring nobody you recognize. They keep making those, and people keep watching those, so I guess there's a market.

This is a series I highly recommend for, well, everyone! It's one of those so brilliantly written, it had my brain spinning! Although quite a deviation from Theo's other books, with a more sci-fi vibe, I absolutely loved it! It had me hooked from the very beginning and kept reeling me in, until I felt like a fish out of water, gasping for breath. The world Theo creates is so realistic, so vivid, his knack of penmanship is, quite frankly, remarkable. What happens when nanotechnology is created to heal virtually every wound? Wonderful, right? Wrong! People always find a way to use everything to their advantage and something with such an awesome potential, becomes a weapon. I was literally on the edge of my seat, totally engrossed that had s bomb gone off right in front of me, I wouldn't have noticed. I had to keep reading to find out how Brian was going to navigate the entire set up. Yes he was being set up big time! All he wanted, was to live a peaceful life with his daughter now that his wife had passed. But he's drawn into a battle, both in the real world and the virtual, to stop a megalomaniac from subverting the entire world. It was a very scary thought, the "what if" is actually too plausible for comfort. Brian is a character of integrity, of loyalty, of profound caring, he will stop at nothing to make the world a better place, for his daughter and his fellow humans. I adore him and if we ever found ourselves in a "what if" situation, I pray there's a Brian to have our back.

New technology has been developed as a cure for all. The human race will live forever with this new technology called Nanoverse. There will be no more disease or life-threatening injuries all will be cured with Nanoverse.

If the people stay in the nanoworld long enough their bodies will die and they will have to stay in the nanoworld forever never able to return to the real world. The longer a person stays in the nanoworld the more addictive it becomes for them. I guess being able to create your own version of a perfect world for yourself is very seductive.

The world-building is spectacular in each and every book. The descriptions were vividly written making it so easy to see and imagine what was happening while at the same time having you wondering what was around the next corner. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough as each twist was revealed and left me wanting more. I loved the world that was created for Nanoverse and could easily read more.

WOW! What an amazing world Theophilus Monroe has created for Nanoverse. This is definitely one for the big screen. Can you just imagine the graphics on this one?

Nanoverse is a very interesting and intriguing story that will keep you entertained throughout and on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.

I highly recommend this addictive universe to one and all. One-click your copy of Nanoverse 1-4 today for a captivating adventure to a new world!

I'm not a sci-fi nut, and all the techno-speak usually turns me off, but I am a HUGE fan of this author, so I ventured out into the Nanoverse with Lt. Brian Goff, his daughter, and the Resistance, and what a journey it was. This volume contains the complete series, so I won't try to detail it, but it centers around Nanovax, a technology that heals wounds, cures illnesses, and will pave the way to Utopia, according to it's developer. But, to achieve this goal requires surrendering individual free will to the government and the Nanoverse. The result will be a perfect society...or will it? After all, can anything created by humanity really surpass it to achieve perfection when the human creators are imperfect? I'll leave you to read the books and find out. The author's world-building is creative and engaging, and his heroes and villains are compelling. I couldn't help being drawn in by Brian from the start in his panicked confusion and desperate concern for his daughter, and throughout the novels I was on tenterhooks hoping for a good end. One of the things I love about this author's writing is there is always an undercurrent of hopefulness, that sense that the protagonists (and we) can work things out and find a solution if they (we) work together. And love, love always matters.

Thrilling from start to end

Brian Goff is a retired Marine who received the very first dose of Nanovax when he was badly injured in war and became the ‘face’ of the vaccine which stops people getting sick and causes them to live longer.

An algorithm is created which will make the nanobots in the vaccine show if a person will do terrorist acts.

One day, whilst in the park with his daughter, Brian has a PTSD attack, which triggers the algorithm. He is then incapacitated and detained for terrorist activites.

Before the authorities can get to him, the resistance picks him up and gives him an inhibitor which blocks the nanobots from connecting with the nanoverse.

What follows is a fast paced journey to save his daughter, and then the rest of the world from the creator of the Nanovax, who wants everyone to join the nanoverse to create an idyllic world where they can do what they want, change their destinies etc.

However, all is not what it seems and Archimedes Flat evades them at all turns.

Although this is a work of fiction, what is scary about it is that it could all happen in our future - would we let one mad scientist force us to give up our bodies so we can live in utopia?

This is a fantastic series and was very well narrated by Miles Meili.

Algorithm.
Wow! This is very different to Theo’s other books that I’ve read but I was just as hooked! This dystopian story gets straight to the action and sucks you in, gripping you almost instantly. I can’t wait to read the next instalment and see what happens to the team next!

Nanoswarm,
Well, this is an excellent sequel in Theo’s mind blowing nanoverse series! We follow the resistance team in their continuing fight against Archimedes Flat, but surely it can’t get worse…right?…….wrong!
I can’t wait for book 3!

Posthuman.
I’m really enjoying this series by Theo, it’s so different to his other series’ but with his fantastic writing style. The characters are so real and the story seems almost plausible for the future! I’m really excited for the conclusion of this series

Nanowar.
Tensions run high in this last book of the series as Goff and Liza try to end the war with Flat with the help of the resistance. Can they stop Flat without killing all of humanity? Can they persuade people to leave the nano verse before it’s too late? Find out in this excellent quick read conclusion

I enjoyed this story set in a near future where science has given everyone a golden future until something goes wrong. Brian goes from a father to a rebel fighting for his life and for the freedom of all. A great techno futuristic novel with suspense and action that grabbed my attention and kept me reading to see if Brian would end up saving himself, his daughter, and ultimately the world. It had great characters that kept me guessing and reading. There was action, danger, suspense, surprises, and a resistance. I laughed, I groaned, and wanted to slap Brian a few times too. Glued to the end to see what happens and what our plucky group and hero would have to face and overcome. Not disappointed and enjoyed it. Entertaining and fun as always in this futuristic world. Its like the author took a few crazy people from today and put their ideas in a blender and came up with this story to entertain me with what could happen.

Get ready for a mental invasion
I can't help but think recent conspiracy theories regarding the COVID-19 vaccines inspired Theophilus Monroe in the writing of this series. All it takes is the suggestion of an idea such as the government inserting microchips in our vaccines and an author has a magnificent "What if?" question. Where an author goes from there is anyone's guess.

In the case of the nanoverse, you have a maniacal madman trying to create a "borg" like reality where everyone will be assimilated. Thankfully, not everyone is susceptible to the programming in the nanobots. Seems PTSD is good for something. I do like the way the author addresses the whole idea of PTS not necessarily being a disorder but rather our way of adapting to the trauma.

Nanoverse is well thought out and masterfully plotted, with plenty of action and tension throughout. You're going to love Brian and his resistance team.

Tha Nanoverse series is a brilliantly written saga that will keep you reading, but your mind thinking, can this really happen. The plot is fast moving, full of action, nail biting moments and suspense. The nanoverse, created to bring to people the joys of living carefree, healthy and happy even after death has a dark side. Trying to stop its takeover seems pointless as microscopic bots are injected into important people Once activated, real life is mirrored in the nanoverse when people enter. Being with loved ones again, as they are remembered can be addictive. Can they escape the pull, or resist the addictive realm, and defeat the creator? Be prepared for a long night of reading as the story pulls you in, and keeps you there, until the ultimate finale!.

Allow a long weekend to binge-read this PG15 metaphysical delight with nanotechnology becoming the pivot point of good and evil.

Algorithm: Allow a long afternoon for this PG near-future dystopia where we have FINALLY gotten out of Iraq, and a universal vaccine called Nanovax has expanded its role.

Nanoswarm: It took me most of a day to get through this philosophical near-future science-fiction tale which I cannot recommend for anyone under fifteen as the metaphysics is just too confusing.

Posthuman: Set aside a day for this PG15 third part of Archimedes Flat to convert the universe to his preferred nanoverse.

Nanowar: Set aside an afternoon for this PG13 fast-paced dystopian sequel to Nanoswarm which has Brian Goff countering Archimedes Flat.

Sci-fi apocalypse isn't my typical reading genre. I usually read fantasy or paranormal stories, but the synopsis sounded interesting so I thought I'd give this box set a try. Each story could standalone, but for me it was better to read all of them in order.

The world building is intricate, but I never felt lost in jargon or technical minutia. There were plenty of twists and complications, along with action, drama, some romance, and many moral quandaries.

It was easy to relate to Brian and understand his motivations for what he did. The bad guy did so many awful things it was also easy to really want to see him taken down. He was always three steps ahead of Brian and the Resistance. I wondered how they would ever catch up, much less win in the end.

Miles Meili narrated the collection. His performances made the stories fun and easy to listen to.

What an amazing imagination the author Theophilus Monroe got and such a beautiful penmanship style which describes each of the characters perfectly.
At first I wrote a long review, now I’ve changed my mind and decided to make it short.
In a way the author sees what’s is already happening in this world so he wrote a book about a dilemma, what would you choose, living as a god in virtual reality immortal eventually boredom and depression will get you or continue in your human body sometimes sad sometimes glad , happy and in love .
This slowly is already happening and the real question is will we even have a choice ?

Narration by Miles Meili is beautifully done for each of the characters in this series.

What an urban fantasy cyberpunk thriller! For me, it rollicks from threatening the End of Days to Tom Clancy-esque political thriller-type action to decisions of red or blue pills. The author delivers twists and turns in the forward motion, the sheer momentum of which propels the reader into a crazy roller coaster of action while stretching the reader’s mind with considerations of what it means to be human, what it means to have faith, what it means to have a soul, what reality is. Is digital life or afterlife really possible? The author does not just invite you to consider this; he drags you right into the real-life debate. Prepare to think!

I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have been thinking about what to say in this review for several days. One of the things I like about this author is the little nuggets of philosophy tucked in here and there. In this 4 book series it is more than just sneaked in here and there.
With the world issues the past couple of years this book hits all the what if points. While it is all wrapped up in an action packed adventure that is fast paced the underlying questions haunt you as it goes along. Some of the dialogue is a little unrealistic at times, but it fits the mood.
I enjoyed reading this. Love the concept and this story is well thought out.

This is the complete (at least for now) four book series in one package. This is a science fiction series with a cyberpunk and dystopian theme. The stories are very well written and fairly easy to read. I say only fairly because there is a lot going on in these stories and it occasionally takes some effort to keep things straight. Both the characters and the setting are well done with plenty of detail that brings things to life. The plots are fast paced and include plenty of action as well as twists and turns so there is never a dull moment. Overall, it was a highly engaging series and I definitely look forward to seeing more from this author.

Highly recommended.

The End ? . . .

This is a fantastic peek into a future world that may shake you up. Lieutenant Brian Goff received the first injection of this new technological solution for everything. The nanobots healed him from the war wounds he had incurred, at least the physical ones. But then, in the first book, he was labeled by that very algorithm as a “threat”, a terrorist, and he had to escape and run for his life, or be killed. To try to control him, the government took his daughter. He has become the last hope for humanity now. What will he do? Or will they capture him and end ALL hope?

The book titles included in this set are:

💥 Algorithm: A Dystopian Sci-Fi Technothriller (Nanoverse Book 1)
💥 Nanoswarm (Book 2):
💥 Posthuman (Book 3):
💥 Nanowar (Book 4):

Algorithm
Brian was a Marine and stationed in Iraq. He was injured with other men and a Dr Flat injected him nanotech. He was hailed a hero. A year later while at the park with his daughter he has a flashback. The next thing he knows he's being arrested as a terrorist. He's rescued by the resistance...to the tech flowing through everyone's veins. Now he needs to figure out how he is able to control the nanos and save his daughter.

This is the first book in this series that will grab your interest from the first sentence. Each book features another fact about the Dr and his invention. Will he be stopped? Drama, action and love.

After having listened to the first audiobook, I had to get the rest of the series. Each book builds on what was happening in the one before, so it is necessary to read them in order to get the full picture. The premise of the book sent chills down my spine, and all four of the books were an endless thrill ride from the beginning until the end. I was entertained by the story. I liked the various characters and their arcs which increased the emotional appeal for me. Miles Meili's narration was suitable and kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

An intriguing read, that definitely has you thinking about the what if's. I was hooked in, and loving it, pretty quickly, and was happy that I had all the books to read without having to wait (from start to finish). First it started with Lieutenant Brian Goff, who thought his life was starting to normalise, after all he had been through. He didn't expect the shutdown coming his way, nor how he had been targeted. I loved this Nanoverse world, the challenges the characters went through, the action/drama/suspense of what happened in it, and the intriguing thought of nanotech possibly been misused.

Nanoverse (Books 1-4) by Theophilus Monroe is a well written series that I received through StoryOrigin. I definitely recommend this series. In this series one of the creators of nanobots and the nanonetwork has visions to replace humans with digital versions, which he believes the next step of human evolution. Brian Goff and his allies intend to prevent this to save humanity. Read this great series to see what happens. The individual books are already available and the boxset is expected to be released towards the end of April on Amazon. I highly recommend every book in the series

This is one series you want to get the box set for! Once you start reading you won’t want to put it down. Theo has brought a whole new world to us and just like all his other books they are so detailed and realistic. It’s like this could be happening…movie style. I mean who wouldn’t want to be healed from everything…right? But like always when there is a potential to hold the greatest power ever things go wrong. And wrong they do. Can Brian save the world? .

💙😰🔥 A great action-packed dystopian /sci fi series.

Kansas City, 2032 :

Brian had taken his daughter Susie to the park on a beautiful sunny day.

There was a detonation, then silence and darkness...
Brian no longer felt anything...

----------

An action-packed dystopian/science-fiction series that reads quickly and which the main character struggles with something far beyond him.

A great adventure to read !
I’m pleasantly surprised by the author’s great writing palette.

A great series for fans of the genre.

I'm not a lover of all things Sci-Fi, but decided to take a chance on this series since it was done by one of my favorite authors.

This is great Sci-Fi for all. Nano technology that will save the world, heal your body from any injury, nothing bad could happen, right? HA... I suggest you take a seat, read this series, and find out that all that is great, isn't always great... forever.

Great action, a little second chance love, teamwork galore, and the sassiest little girl you could ever want to know!.

Lieutenant Brian Goff should have died in Mosul when an IED blew the lightly armored bus upside down that he and his Marine detail were in but Dr. Flat saved him using nanobots. After Dr. Flat lost his wife, he became very bitter and angry, so angry that he wants to remove all emotion from everyone, using his nanobots like a collective. Now the resistance, including Goff, is out to stop Flat from fulfilling his dream. These four stories have plenty of action and romance. Highly recommended.

This was a great series that make you think about the choices you would make if you had the options these people did. Grief can be a powerful motivator but you can’t use it to take other peoples choice away from them. The nanoverse would be a great place to get away for a while but not somewhere I would want to be forever.
