Wow, my thumb turned green just reading this book!

So… I’m from Kentucky and have never been able to grow much here in Georgia. But now, I can figure out my backyard’s soil composition and find out why. I can hardly wait to do the bottle test and the mustard test to discover how much work getting it to the point it can produce salad will be! This book tells you how. And if that sounds like an adventure you’d rather not embark on, the author tells you how to set up your container garden and which plants will grow there. An easy read as he has an engaging voice. Well done!

Great beginning gardening book!

I've been gardening a while now and came across this book. I figured I'd give it a read to see if there was something i hadn't heard of before. i was pleasantly surprised at how well it was written and thought out. And with humor nonetheless! I highly recommend this book for beginning gardeners. It's full of information you'll need to know.

Great info for a home gardner

I have been researching how to improve the soil on the Gravel Bar I live on. This book covers, in detail, a number of options. Not scaled to a 10 acre + pasture or field, so it has a lot of varying techniques covered which will assist the reader in improving their Garden's soil. Practical and down to earth.

This was a great book to come across!

Thank you Bruce...I highly enjoyed it. I really like how you opened up both the traditional as well as no-till (that's my preference ☺️) techniques. And the simple presentation is great. I also like the pictures. I can see using them as coloring pages to bring the mind together to focus.
