If you’re interested in purple martins or wanting to put up a purple martin house then this book is for you. I honestly wish I had a place to put up a martin house because this book really hyped up having one! However, a lot of the information about purple martins and other scientific information may be outdated. For example, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service no longer issues bird banding permits as that responsibility is now handled by the U.S. Geological Survey. Overall a great book for those wanting to learn about purple martins!
