This is a great introductory lesson on magnifying glasses and how they are used in the science classroom. Magnifying glasses are a piece of equipment that can be utilized during a science experiment. An activity that I can conduct with this book is lead my students in an activity such as using the magnifying glass to look closely at items such as a few grains of salt and pepper, a dollar bill, a shiny dime, etc. This book is great for future activities while using a magnifying glass.
