Summary:
In this nonfiction book, Mickey Mouse explores the question, "Why Do Tigers Have Stripes?" The book is full of information on tigers and why they have stripes. The reader finds out all the information about a tiger including their habitat and other interesting facts. It is the perfect edition to a classroom library.
Evaluation:
I love this book because it features everyones' favorite mouse, Mickey Mouse. It makes reading a nonfiction text interesting because Mickey is the one leading us to our questions. The book is perfect for small children.
Lesson Plan:
I would have it in my classroom library so that the students have access to a nonfiction, readable text. I would let students choose this book when they are finished with their work.
