This manga series was absolutely amazing!! If you’ve never read a manga before and don’t know what to try first, Vampire Knight is the perfect choice.

The action is constant, the characters are perfectly blended, the artwork is absolutely amazing and the plot is original and addicting!

I loved all of the characters! I couldn’t decide who was best for Yuki. As much as I loved the tortured soul that Zero harbored, Kaname is steamy and swoon worthy. I loved the scenes where Yuki and Kaname would hol

3.5 stars.

For me, this series jumped the shark two volumes ago, but now that my expectations are adjusted, I think I'll continue to enjoy the story to the end. Thankfully, my library carries it, so I won't have to buy any more volumes; I'm planning on trading in the volumes I have bought over the past few years to fill out my collection of Ouran. :D So, it's not a complete loss, and I do enjoy the story overall. BUT -

**Warning - griping ensues along with spoilers if you're not caught up through

I'm a little creeped out by how the whole brother/sister romance thing is played like a ship we're actually supposed to be behind. Not just with Yuki, but now in that bonus chapter with her parents too. I mean, seriously? I really hope Yuki ends up with Zero because, you know, he loves her, she loves him, and he's not related to her. And Kaname is kind of a manipulative bastard, whereas Zero is a guy who genuinely cares about others more than himself. I guess I don't see how this is honestly eve ...more

Not so much transition as denouement after the outrageous awesomeness of the last volume, but so many story elements were brought to an end in the last volume that we're left panting for breath and sorting through the wreckage before the next story arc. Not sure where it's all going but things certainly seem creepier.

I have always really enjoyed these books but this one seemed very confusing. It didn't seem like the story went anywhere or told you anything new in this volume. Not sure when volume 11 comes out but I will hope that it has more enlightement in it.

This volume mostly consists of characters reminiscing about details we already knew, just told in slightly different ways; I didn't feel any of it added to the overall storyline.

Zero and Yuki's farewell was so bitter. This volume contained many flashbacks to illustrate the characters regard for each other. Zero is conflicted because he loves Yuki and hates her. Yuki sacrifices her feelings for Zero to keep him alive, running from him as his prey. The other night class students are uncertain of their future--do they follow Kaneme or their parents?

This volume was sad! If it was a movie I might have started crying. Like with Naurto, it's a little difficult to figure out all that's going on during some of the battle scenes, but other than that, the artwork is great. And the story just keeps getting more intense. More please.

This edition of Vampire Knight explains much of what happened in the last book and goes further. The school seems to be falling apart while there is a huge rift in the vampire world. The humans at the school seem to be learning of the vampires existence. It moves really fast.

Lots of flashbacks in this volume. Nice getting backstory and kinda developing the side characters a little more. Zero is heartbreaking.

So basically, 2 pureblood siblings will marry and have 2 pureblood children, then these 2 will marry and have 2 pureblood children, then these 2 will marry . . .
I find it a bit cringey even though they're vampires, not humans.

Matsuri Hino is one of my absolute favorite mangakas, and I’ve collected all of her other series that have been published over her, yet seemed to have missed a lot of this series. I was reading it back when it was being published in the Shojo Beat magazine, but paused reading it back then, and never got around to catching up. I had three volumes after the magazine ended, waiting to be read. And now, years later, I’ve finally read all that I have. And aug

Today I am covering a very popular vampire manga. I remember that when I first started watching animes and reading mangas a lot, meaning about 2 years ago, this particular one was recommended to me a lot by my friends. I remember that I watched the anime (26 episodes) immediately, however, even though I did enjoy it a lot, I didn’t read the manga to find out what happened next. So, I don’t know what happened, but for the last 4 months or so, this manga was appeari

Ichiru: Because you hate it when I do it (I'm being a pest).
Zero(to Cross): Hey. Don't take a photo.
