A couple does not have any children, so the lady wants to have a child of her own. She decides to make a ginger bread boy to fill the position. The gingerbread boy jumps up and takes off running. In the end, the gingerbread boy is too clever for the woman, the man, the cow, the horse, and all the other farmers. The gingerbread boy did not outsmart the fox though, that ended up getting a tasty meal.
