ok heroine is blinding herself for some institution ,hero thinks she s really blind .he cares for her .he has some ugly scar in his face .he proposes to her.when she gets her sight back he gets angry and acts like a jerk .she asks him to consult another doctor,instead of bullying her and he did a plastic sergery,then he changes his terrible attitude

The title of this book is a horrible pun that refers to the main female character being sight-impaired. Except that she isn't! Halfway through, we, along with the New Mexico ranch owner who had been courting her, find out that she has been lying all along. She was part of a one year experiment where a doctor fitted her with lenses to impair her sight and she lived like a sight-impaired person 24/7, recording all her experiences along the way, so that her research could help medical science make progress on the treatment of sight-impaired children, and the money she received could help pay off her sister and brother-in-law's debts from their dearly departed child's long terminal illness that caused them to go into debts. The only part of that cockamamie story that was believable was the crushing debt imposed by the hospital and rejected by the medical insurance!
The hero, who has huge chips on his shoulder to begin with, what with a car accident that rendered half of his face disfigured, and the flighty opera singer wife who divorced him because she couldn't stand to look at him anymore, is seething at heroine's deception but remains outwardly calm. They go on to marry and that's when he drops the bomb of how much he really loathes her for the two-faced, lying, deceiving, golddigging hall-of-famer that she is. Now that he's got her good and trapped, she is now going to repay him for all the money she bilked out of him like the expense of getting her a seeing eye dog and a private consultation with an expert at John Hopkins. The marriage is thus doomed from the start, with him treating her like a blow-up doll at night and a useless trophy by day, and she martyrizing herself in the hopes that one day he will come to love her. When he asks her what she wants for Christmas, a mink coat, a diamond the size of a goose egg, shares in Getty oil?...She replies that she wants him to have plastic surgery to fix his face, not for her mind you, because she loves him as he is, but for himself, so he can get his self-confidence back! Gotta love those 80s Harlequins...*sigh*
Anyway, it's not the nightly raping and the daily emotional abuse that push the heroine over the edge. It's catching her man in a passionate embrace with his beautiful, slithery snake of an ex-wife. Naturally, the hero wasn't cheating, he was just congratulating his ex on her latest operatic success lol. But the heroine doesn't know that so she runs into a burning building instead, as you do in these circumstances.
Anyhoo, the heroine recovers from her burn injuries (alas no amnesia twist in this one) and finally has the guts to leave her idiot of a husband and take up her lowly life in her singleton bedsit with a hot plate to warm up her daily can of beans but not even a mangy cat for a companion. After about four weeks, the hero comes running with his tail between his legs. He realized long ago that his sweet wife was a saint but he was too proud to admit it. She welcomes him back with open arms and they can ride into the sunset back to his ranch like in a good cowboy love story.

Read the original and the Arabic translation, entertaining read. Hero had a scar and married heroine when she was pretending to be blind for some reason that has nothing to do with him. When he find out she could see he thought she was marrying him for money and treated her badly. Then she tells him if he hates his appearance so then he should get medical help. He got a plastic surgery.
