* ARC received for an honest review *

The author reached out to me on insta to review her debut novel. I accepted it immediately as it was a Mafia trope which is one of my favourite trope. And it sound really interesting.

The book was good. I liked the storyline which is what made me hooked and continue reading. Sofia is a young woman who had to fight from the early age for her and her younger sister's survival in a poverty-stricken life. And Ashton is a mafia boss who is cold, dark and dangerous. But when Sofia & her sister comes into his life, he shows his soft side and also his possessiveness. Everleigh was so cute. She was literally the light in their dark world.

Sofia & Ashton were really nice. And I love that Ash took them from their old life to give a better and happier life. I liked that Sofia stood upto him and didn't let him walk over her. And Ash worshipped the ground she walked on and was really protective of her. And also loved his relationship with Everleigh. Please it was so cute and wholesome to watch.

The only problem I had with this is the grammatical mistakes and how he fell for her so soon. Other than that, I really liked it. And I also feel the author has so much potential and for a debut novel, this was pretty decent.

I can't wait to read the next part. And see where Sofia - Ashton - Everleigh journey leads.

I was lucky enough to get to read this book as an ARC review.

I found the storyline good. We have Sophia and Ashton navigating brutal upbringings but they can bring out the love in each other. Sophia is trying so hard to protect her younger sister in poverty when she is whisked away by a dominant rich sexy man.

As head of his mafia there are some brutal torture scenes so would not be good if this is a trigger for you. It also has some wording that can be a bit confusing but as a relatively new author I could look past that and could be a language thing.

This is not x-rated in the romance department but hopefully that ramps up in the next book.

Overall an ok read but I think the author will continue to develop which will be exciting

It is one of the most amazing books the author is the best you’ll ever find and if anyone is wanting to read it I STRONGLY agree for you to read it, I feel like she was born to write I haven’t seen another author other than the author who sticks to the story line and completes it, I first saw the story on Wattpad and read it in a couple of hours and I was truly obsessed with it and I was anticipated to see what was going to happen in the next chapter she really knows how to attract people to the book, I strongly recommend to those who love mafia story based books.🤍

Thank you to the Author-I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Sophia-Young, driven, forced into early adulthood, and yet incredibly naive. She works hard day and night to support her little sister and protect her from the monster that is their father. When a strange man entices her, giving her feelings she has never experienced before, will she let them rope her in, or turn back for the life she's only ever known?

Ashton-Cruel, powerful, and somewhat psychotic. He took over the Italian Mafia at a young age, letting only the teachings of his predecessors guide him. Bloodshed is just a part of the job, and it's the part he enjoys the most. He is known for being a monster, torturing people in ways inconceivable to most. Yet when he sees a beautiful woman at a club he owns, new feelings creep in, opening his entire world to new opportunities, but also gouging holes in the shield that protects him and his empire. Will he choose to move forward risking everything he has spent his life accomplishing, or will he close himself off and return to the brutality he's come to know and trust?

I am rating this book 3 stars ⭐️. I did enjoy the plot and the character-building that took place. It had some incredibly grotesque, realistic torture scenes so I would caution those with triggers to avoid this book. The biggest detractors are things that could be solved or improved upon; grammatical errors, run-on sentences, and some plot holes. These made it difficult to follow along in places. From my understanding, this was one of the first books published by A.Z. Chaudhry so some grace has been given to account for that. Overall it was a good read and I look forward to seeing how the Author grows with future novels.

The Mafia and his lost queen is the most amazing book I have read till now. From started reading this book on Wattpad to reading it on Amazon this book has gone up to the standard. Moreover the dedication and hardwork of author paid off. The book is rollercoaster ride of emotions and from starting to end I was entirely connected with the characters. The whole plot was amazing. In short I would recommend everyone to read it. I can guarantee that you can read it again and again and will not get bore.

I've been there to watch the transition of this book and I can say I am truly amazed. The book itself is very realistic and many of the topics discussed hit close to home, which I can say is absolutely a breath of fresh air. The author did an amazing job with the characters. It showed that people are not what they seem and they definitely are something than meets the eye. The chemistry and love between the main characters is so swoon worthy! You will definitely find every kind of emotion in this book! Overall I recommend everyone to read this book!
Can't wait for part II !

Absolute best book I have ever read online. I remember searching up "mafia" on Wattpad and the second I saw it, I could not wait to read it. I would read at least 6+ chapters everyday. I read that book within 4 days. It has the best romance and crime balance in it. I could read it over and over and still be interested in wanting more of it. I really hope the book gets continued one day (part 2) with lots more of drama.

The author made me love this and I’m sure other people will to. I can only wait until the author produces another book. It was absolutely exhilarating and I can’t even begin to describe all the emotions I felt with this book. The author made me love reading again.

I have to say that i did enjoy this book. The book is about a girl fighting for survival on her own… and what happens when a man she is fascinated by enters her life for the greater good. My favorite character was the little sister. She was so adorable. I loved Possessive Ashton 😏. The ending is killing me and I can’t wait to read the next book. 4 ⭐️

I love it!!!!
Just as life that goes on around us everyday, you can never know what someone is hiding behind their eyes, but also that everyone wants to be loved and that everyone has the capacity to love someone else more than they thought they ever would.

Highly highly suggest taking the time to read this book!!!

I had the honor to read this book and I loved it. The fact that Ashton removed Sophia and her sister from their horrible life and away from the abuse of their father and to give them a better life even though he is a mafia boss. I can't wait until I can read part 2.

So this is my first book by this author. I honestly wasn't sure was going to happen in the book. To say that I loved the book is wrong because I expected a little bit of spice in the book. This would be a good young adult book. It's characters and plot were awesome. Will I give part 2 a shot yes.
