I've read many channeled books, but this one made me hesitant to continue because I did not care for the source of the information. (Nothing against the authors. They've done great work). But I caught several blatant lies amongst truths. This is 50/50 belief for me.
I don't think they are intentionally lying, but just because it's from a higher source doesn't mean they are "all-knowing." I will explain my views:
I do not trust a single date in this book. Several psychic books, including Edgar Cayce, Cannon, and Melchizedek, say the pyramids were built around the time of Atlantis falling 10,000 years ago. Yet here they claim 6,000 years ago putting it at 4000 BC. Even scientists date it further than that! None of the dates match up with more reputable sources.
Plus, they've falsely prophesied things to happen in the 1990's which never did. In this book, the reader is lead to believe the great Egyptian empire was created back in 500,000BCE. ??? Again, this doesn't match up with other materials I've read which were consistent.
They suggested the thymus gland and throat will be two different chakras. But each of our glands "are" associated with a chakra...to make it function...that is what the glads are here for. What glad will then work the throat? They did the same with the 6th and 7th chakras/glands
Additionally, the Sirians speaking were rather non-neutral. For instance, The Sirian who's speaking said a battle planet to "prevent murderers" from coming to earth. They also kept suggesting the forces of Light purposefully and repeatedly attempted to commit genocide on the dinoid/reptoid civilization in this solar system. (Which is hypocritically murder in itself). Although there have been wars, the word choices turned me off.
Even when the Pleiadians speak of reptilians, they do so without creating duality or images of enemies. Rather, they come with a loving approach for all life and Oneness. Yet Washta expressed a lack of heart for the Pleiadians, portraying them as enemies. They do the same with the Atlanteans, making them appear as domineering. What was said may have happened, they did destroy Lemuria, but Atlantis was split between the light and dark. This aspect is not given.
Washta claimed he was being "promoted to ascended master" for completing the book. What?!? Promoted? One isn't promoted to ascended master, ascension is a state one attains through lifetimes of learning, not kudos for publishing a book on earth. I can hardly believe he was close to becoming ascended master anyhow.
I hypothesize that these Sirian channelees are of the light, but are not amongst the most advanced of all lightworkers. And perhaps they came to deliver a message, but also to express their frustrations of history through the use of this channel. There is more than one Sirian race, and they are all on different evolutionary levels.
I did enjoy the part about the cetaceans, but am skeptical about what lies are in the story as well.
I do think this is a source of light, but one that is not so highly evolved as to allow their anger to direct their messages. Although my anger may have gotten to me at times, and created bias in this review, however, I don't claim to be an ascended master because of this.

‘CHANNELED PREDICTIONS’ FOR 1996 AND THEREAFTER
Virginia Essene wrote in the Preface to this 1994 book, “The task of translating a series of spoken audio tapes recorded with a verbal stream of consciousness is always a formidable task because the SPOKEN message lacks the structured sentences, paragraphs, and official rules of grammar, punctuation, etc., required by OUR written communication… Sheldon’s messages were first channeled and then directly typed onto hard paper copy as an initial starting point. The question and answer portion of each chapter was taped with Virginia asking questions of Washta through Sheldon… In the middle of all this, Miriam [de Vera Nidle] had to create certain illustrative materials in order to assist in clarifying novel, basic concepts vital to the reader’s understanding. This… adds immeasurably to the books’ value… We are now pleased to … release the Sirian message to those who feel called to listen.”
Virginia states in her Introduction, “Now we cannot promise that reading this book will confirm your belief in God, or that you will love and respect God more earnestly. However, you will to skirt the issue of what created us, how we arrived in this world of negativity and what potential changes the future holds…. Good things are coming! The time of resurrection is here! Individually and en masse, humans are moving from the past limitations into a sublimely exciting future.” (Pg. 3)
She continues, “Christians might read Isaiah’s [60:8] remarks about ‘These that fly as a cloud’ … and see whether this description … could be a description about an aircraft with very physical characteristics?... Imagine walking with God, and knowing about the fallen angels, as Enoch did, and they trying to describe your experience for other people. Now that would be a challenge!... Surely, in this presumed time of John’s Revelation, we can read the material with the eye of a 20th-Century human who has come to accept the idea of space flight, UFOs, and objects that lift off the earth for higher destinations… we acknowledge the gifts of our biblical ancestors---those great men and women who were trying their best to love and trust in God… even when their knowledge of things mechanical was extremely limited …” (Pg. 10-12)
She goes on, “Have you already answered the question of who you are to your own satisfaction? … Maybe you are well-acquainted with both electric and magnetic field energies and also those invisible but influential energies we call subtle… Whatever the secret bridge may be, it seems we have not identified it for everyday use by the common man. It is still a mystery, but its latent nature cannot be hidden forever… Let’s accept that this is that promised time indicated to us from many sources, and that we really are the prodigal Earth humans regaining and reclaiming our galactic origins and powers. Nonetheless, there is research to do in finding the major missing chapters in our history books, in learning about ourselves and other life forms, and in discovering why things are the way they are on planet Earth… Our intention in presenting the material in this book… is to explore these extraordinary but historically splintered ideas for the good of all humankind.” (Pg. 17)
Sheldon states, “My name is Sheldon Nidle and I have been appointed as a representative of the Galactic Federation. This position was given to me by a Sirian counselor and galactic presence named Washta… the information that follows is a message from the Sirans and their Council of Ascended Masters on what is about to happen to my fellow Earth humans in the next few years.” (Pg. 19)
He continues, “in August of 1993 … I unexpectedly began to give readings… It was during one of my lectures… that I met Virginia Essene and, shortly after, we began discussing the possibility of presenting all the information I’ve been given in a book. At the same time, I also stare to scrutinize the deepest meanings of galactic time with the hope of learning to understand the processes that surround it. My lengthy association with the Galactic Federation… have provided me a broader understanding of what is now happening on this planet.” (Pg. 25-26)
He states, “We are here to share the fact that your solar system is presently poised to enter a vast region of light called the photon belt during a period between March of 1995 and December of 1996. This photon belt… will be the vehicle for your restoration to full consciousness and for the complete transformation of your DNA and chakra systems.” (Pg. 27)
He adds, “the Supreme Creator Force (God) has arranged for your solar system to enter an interdimensional rescue bubble that will thrust it out of the photon belt through the 5th dimension an into a position about three light years from the Sirius star system (at present Sirius is approximately 8.3 light years from Earth). This bubble will be reached around the years 2012-2013 AD. That period of approximately 17 years (1996-2013) will mark the end of your 24-hour daylight experience and bring the return of an approximate 12-hour daylight/12-hour nighttime schedule.” (Pg. 31-33)
‘Washta’ states, “the key to all changes and alterations in humans requires that a desire be given from the basic inner self or higher self … Once this higher self is completely in agreement to the whole process, then an incredible change occurs on a physical level in al the particular cell structures of the body. Thus it becomes possible to go to the core which is the very foundation of all human cellular development. Once this occurs an incredible series of events can then be put into place, thereby creating things that would now be seen on your planet as miraculous.” (Pg. 75)
Washta says, “There are vast regions of Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean around the Canary Islands… There are other areas… that have also been discovered but are not presently being made public… Various temple sites that have not yet rising will be rising when many of the landings occur… The important thing is to relax and know that the Atlantean realm is about to re-emerge at the appropriate time.” (Pg. 113)
The book states, “Washta, Aumtron, and Sirai are here to explain how Earth’s new galactic civilization, with you as its chief inhabitant, will be developed… At present… Earth humans do not fully comprehend their new upcoming pattern. Hopefully, this new Sirian model will help Earth humans learn how planet Earth was created as both a spiritual and as a physical entity.” (Pg. 139)
It says, “By the 1980s, the Galactic Federation began to see that is was essential to view was happening on Earth, not as a process of doom, but as a process of transformation and increasing enlightenment…Earth was evaluated in the early 1990s to prepare for the welcoming home mission of the Galactic Federation’s First Contact Team…” (Pg. 212-213)
Virginia’s Afterword reprints, “there is an incredible shift soon to happen to their consciousness… caused by the photon belt, but also because of the mass landings that are about to occur in the next few years between 1995 and 1996…” (Pg. 234)
Well, 1996 has long since passed; so ‘Caveat Emptor’ to potential readers of this book…

Insane ramblings from someone who is either a con artist or a mentally ill person.

I honestly can't even begin to write about how bad this book is. I'm a devoted follower of the ONE true God, The Lord Jesus Christ. After a series of existential questions, page one vaguely appears to start out on the right foot by mentioning Jesus' teachings on love and peace. Virginia claims that Christ's love forever changed humanity "into a fully conscious state of spiritual awareness... often referred to as heaven." By page two we're told that Christ's message was "delivered to a society of humans whose genes may have been damaged by the Atlantean genetic experiments thousands of years before his arrival."
The Bible, which is THE true, inspired word of God, teaches that Jesus Christ is one of three persons who makes up the Holy Trinity — God. The Bible also teaches of the downfall of humanity and the curse which we have endured since Adam ate from the tree of knowledge, certainly not "damaged genes."
Knowing that Jesus Christ is God, and God created the universe, why would Jesus go through the effort of teaching some null message to a society (that he Himself created) that was supposedly unable to receive it? This is Virginia's introduction.
Sheldon Nidle claims to have been given cosmic information – since childhood – (a bit weird) on "true" earth history and galactic humans from other planets. Apparently, in 1994, he was given the thumbs up by these space people to produce all of this interstellar babble. I liked one of the other reviews of this book, this book very much does have both mentally ill and con artist vibes and is very clearly not to be trusted.
It is clear that Virginia and Sheldon, in the mid 1990s anyway, were attempting to elevate themselves to a God-like status while also belittling Him. This nonsense meets my fireplace ASAP.

When I read for the first time about the Photon Belt by reading this book in 1995 I was totally hooked.I incorporated the ideas in my first novel, that was how much the channeled information gripped me. It was a great revelation for me that our bodies need not be unsolved mysteries or unseen enemies any longer.
It Is almost 19 years since I have read this book, and for some reason I have taken it from my bookshelf when I was preparing an article about TIME. Today we seem to live in the Times of the Quickening.
Who knows maybe we are now in 2014 truly passing the Photon Belt this book writes about.

A lot of this material resonated with me. Highly recommended. I even had ET experiences while reading it!

I gave this book 3 stars only because it was very entertaining and it had a some valuable information that a new comer to such topics would be intrigued by.
