Anne craves control but when William reveals their true past lives, she must release her fears and let love strengthen her. Anne is a dome, not a sub, but when a mysterious man named William enters her playroom, she submits to his commands without question. Who is her? He claims they know one another, and he demands she utter his name. Through a series of BDSM play, she remembers all, including her brutal murder. William has waited two centuries for her but to choose to give up her soul and become a vampire? That'll take some time, time which they might have run out of thanks to the Hunters. Will Anne walk away from her true love, the keeper of her soul, or will she spend all of eternity with her beloved William?

Switch is a seductive vampire romance I couldn't put down. Vampires are inherently violent so adding BDSM elements to this story makes complete sense. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop and wound up reading it in one sitting. Anne's strong, butt-kicking persona is William's undoing. The dynamics between these two were intoxicating to read. Here’s a mighty vampire brought to his knees by a woman. An intriguing twist in the realm of paranormal romance. The plot progression was smooth with just the right amount of conflict, tension, and emotional arcs. The descriptive narration, though, is what makes Switch sensual, emotional, and exhilarating. Both POVs are expressive while propelling the story. This is my first Hannah Morse book and I've instantly become a fan. She's a brilliant writer who knows how to write romance. I look forward to reading more from her. Highly recommend!

Trigger Warning: violence, BDSM play

Scorching hot but full of heart

Wow, I loved this volume of the Reincarnation series. I loved Anne's modern profession as an MMA trainer after being bullied in her past life. She grew into everything she wanted to be but couldn't in her first life (because of her social status and the times). The most empowering part is that she did this before William found her. When they are reunited, they are equals and I loved the newness this brought to their relationship. Fantastic twist to start the plot and Morse kept me surprised until the end.

Hot vampire & BDSM oh my!

I don't know much about this life, but found the descriptions intriguing. This is the first time I've read anything by Author Morse, but thought the writing was knowledgeable, fun, flowing well from scene to scene, and a pleasure to read. William waited centuries for Anne to be reborn and claimed her in a way that set the pages on fire. Dark and delicious, Switch was a fabulous addition to the series. I can't wait to read more from the series.❤️

This is a book in a series written by multiple authors. I read this as a standalone and it's short and sweet. The premise is straightforward as the prologue sets up the conflict and then brings us to current day.

I am a huge fan of reincarnation series, so when I saw this book, of course I had to give it a try. And I was not disappointed. It's hot, heavy BDSM with a side of vampire to make your heart beat. Love that it was a short read, but it did not feel lacking in any way. Off to read the rest of this series now... and to be clear, they are all stand alone books

🔥🥵🔥🥵

William and Anne definitely bring sexy back! Im seriously-ridiculously-in love with these vampires who wait for their soul mate to be reincarnated. It makes me wana cry 😭 Also, i didn’t think i was into BDSM.. shocker. 🙈 Not only was this sexy, gritty and kinky but it had many swoon worthy scenes! My favorite part was when she was in charge. She made it sexy but endearing and romantic!!! ♥️ THAT IS ALL.

I love this series! These vampires will give you all the feels!

This is a (short) novella about Anne, who owns a MMA gym/BDSM club in modern day Seattle, and a vampire called William. Anne was William's (secret) wife in another life, before she was murdered and he turned into a vampire. We learn about the back story in the prologue. When William shows up in Anne's BDSM club one night, she begins remembering her former life. They get back together. The end.

The biggest issue for me was the complete lack of conflict. There is absolutely nothing standing in the way of Wiliam and Anne in this timeline. She is pretty much on board with the whole idea of William being a vampire and her having to become a vampire herself without any regrets (except maybe for not tasting her favorite foods anymore). The hunters, who are the only antagonists, are a complete joke. What's the point of kidnapping Anne, if they are not prepared for William showing up to rescue her at all?

The story had a lot of potential, many things that could have been so cool. I also liked the prologue. It was probably the best developed part of the book. But overall, I was disappointed. It all felt dull and a bit rushed to me. The story didn't take time to breathe or explore anything in depth. I still give it three stars because it was easy to read and I liked the characters and the premise.

Switch by Hannah Morse is a vampire romance following the stories of Anna and William. It is part of a series written by multiple authors, and while I have not read anything by the other authors, if they are half as interesting and fresh as this book then they are sure to be excellent reads.

I really liked the character of Anna, who with her MMA training is a real force to be reckoned with. I liked that this part of character is explored early on and that it is a driving force for who she is, especially in comparison with her previous life, where such behaviour was not allowed. I liked William’s character too: he came across as caring and passionate throughout the book. And best of all their relationship became sizzling hot as the story unfolded.

I liked the clever twist that this story has and it is a clever subversion of the romance genre. The writing is crisp and the author says a lot in such a short amount of pages. I definitely appreciated how the characters, plot and description worked so well together. I’ve started this series mid-way through the recommended order so look forward to going back and starting at the beginning.

I am really enjoying this series! They are light, quick reads that are satisfying and exciting. There is not a lot of anxiety inducing moments, though they do deal with difficult topics, like death, BDSM, and other adult oriented situations.

Honestly, I love this set up with this series, and each book being written by a different author is an awesome idea and I’m seriously loving it.

I kinda hope this becomes a trend, because I would love to see more series like this one that involves multiple authors writing their own book, but still within the series universe. I know there’s other series books that do this, but this one stands out to me.

The premise I liked but as a novella, I felt some aspects were too rushed, especially at the end. I would have liked this better as a more developed and detailed text. There were lots of areas just skipped. For example, in order to draw the hunters away, William asks Anne to give him time to deal with them. Then he disappears for a week before the hunters come for Anne. But there’s no detail given about what he was doing during that time. He just goes off the grid until the hunters capture Anne. Again, for me, I just missed the details and it felt too rushed. I received an arc for a review

An enjoyable short story. I like to call books like these no-brainer reads. If you want to read a short story just to past time on a Sunday afternoon. Pick up a book like Switch. The story is not bad nor is it terribly good. It's just a nice read.

You have to love a reincarnation story about a woman who is a dominatrix in one life and a prim and proper lady in a past life. You have to relish the dichotomy of the story ploy and how it all plays together to make such a wonderful book.

I was lucky enough to receive a free copy and it was EXCEPTIONAL! I think I'll have to go out and get the first two in the series, now.

So, I wanted to love this book, I really did. I think the plot was there, it just needed some more descriptive context and more details to really bring it together and not feel so rushed and forced. I know this is a short book, but a book can be short and still flow well including details.

I will say that I did learn a lot of new words! The vocabulary in this one threw me for a loop, but that’s NOT a negative! It’s important to read different books that help expand your literary mind.

I am giving this book a 3.5 star on story and a 3.8 on spice. The spicy scenes we’re definitely good, they could have used a little more descriptive language, but the tense build up for them was great! The part that caught me off guard was what became of William, there was no explanation upfront to ease into what happen with him, it was just BAM, this is what it is now.

Over all it was a quick read with some good spice that covered the “care” box when it comes to kink and I like that.
