Epic Book of Unbelievable True Stories: Collection of Amazing tales and headlines from History, War, Science, Urban Legends and Much More

Would you believe that a woman fell over 30,000 ft and lived?

Would you believe the U.S.S.R dropped a nuclear bomb...on itself...on purpose?

Would you believe a bear helped soldiers fight in during WW1?

Would you believe . . .

To all these questions as well as the others in this book, they all looked like tabloid headlines rather than factual stories to me when I first came across them.

However, after careful research, I have discovered that each of the statements in the book is true. Prepare to be educated; the articles are fact-based – I am not making this stuff up!

Prepare to have fun; the stories are shared by myself, a folksy narrator with a great sense of humor and a gift for taking boring, complicated subjects and making them interesting and intelligible to the average person. Prepare to be amazed; these are gems that most schools forget to teach.

In this book you will find fascinating stories that you can share to amaze your friends and
family. This is a book you will want to return to again and again. Buy your copy today!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Epic Book of Unbelievable True Stories is a non-fiction book for middle-graders. The book explores many events that seem like sensational headlines but is indeed true.

It covers topics like science, war, urban legends, etc., and includes amazing, gruesome, surreal, and definitely unbelievable stories.

Children will enjoy these stories and the funny word-play at the end of each story. They will love to share these stories with their friends, and the book will pique their curiosity about history.

Unbelievable True Stories…

This book of true stories from History, War, Science, Urban Legends and so much more was so cool! It’s a great way for everyone in the family to learn something new. Whether you read them as bedtime stories together, let the older children read them (some adult humor in it, younger children won’t get) or as an adult you just want to enjoy, it won’t matter, you will be glad you read them!

Interesting read of odd facts and fascinating antidotes. Not a profound read, but at times, entertaining--maybe a tad too wise-cracking as the writer attempts to add comedic commentary to the odd facts and unbelievable collection of tid-bits. In fact, because of all the silly humor, I'm dropping the rating to two stars.

I feel ready for a game show

This book was a fun read. There were so many interesting stories presented. Some of my favorites are The Beer Flood of London and building a boat out of ice. This would be a great addition for anyone you know who loves to spout random facts.

It’s fun and it’s fine. About on par for this genre of books. There were definitely a few tales that were new to me. Thanks to BookSirens for the opportunity to read the ARC of this title.

Interesting true stories

This book is a series of unbelievable but true brief stories. What first appears to be, if not impossible, at least improbable, is explained. Sometimes the situation is humorous, but all of the stories are interesting.
