This delightful book easily explains the proper etiquette for common situations and the graciousness that is fundamental to pleasant relationships. Lizzy and I are now on the road to being classy relatives, friends and hostesses:)
This is a book that I read with my youngest daughter when she was younger and we were schooling. This is such a delightful little read that encourages our young girls to be gracious and use the manners that used to be so common in our society. The illustrations are colorful and draw young girls in with them.
This book gave detailed information regarding a person’s manners in several settings - all those which would be likely to hold festivities. A very valuable read - one I would recommend for anyone needing more understanding of how to act, speak and think in almost any social settings. A beautiful exemplification of how to be a kind, gentle, and loving young lady.
I think it is wonderful and attractive, however, the layout is too busy for preschool/kindergarten and my l.o. very much dislikes it. I like the author, but God created us each to favor different things within books.
This book so is well written and the illustration is amazing. I love this book becuase it is so useful and it really does teacch courtesy and kindness. It says it is for young ladies but really it is for everyone. I even found some great reminders. I will certainly be using this for my kids. I think manners have been neglected in our society and everyone needs a refresher course. If you are looking for a great way to help your children learn manners this is a great book to read.
