Chester provides a nice look inside the whys of how QT got to where it is at. I admire the company he helped to build. A good read indeed!

A detailed management book on a retail (convenience store) business. I enjoyed it as it shows what makes it or a retail business ticks. There is so much resemblance to Walmart (as described in the book Made in America by Sam Walton) and Home Depot (as described in Built from Scratch by the 2 founders). The other two books are more about story telling while this book is more about management wisdom and lessons.
Highly recommended for investors who are looking at retail businesses or people interes

This was an informative book. For one who has been in the convenience store industry for several decades I found it very helpful.

Cadieux tells us how QT was lucky at first. They had some major problems. Basically, they did not know what they did not know.
