About the author

Vicki Stevenson toiled for years as a computer programmer, systems analyst, and eventually Manager of Office Automation for a large defense contractor. Finally striking out on her own, she became a consultant to a computer component manufacturer, where she worked as a designer, writer, and trainer of manufacturing automation for semiconductors. She has a BA in Economics from UCLA.
In addition to writing fiction, Vicki's hobbies are daydreaming and procrastination. She lives with her partner Sara, the love of her life, in Mesa, Arizona. They spend summers at their vacation home in Cottonwood, Arizona, which is considerably cooler than the Phoenix area. Vicki finds Northern Arizona absolutely enchanting and so she chose it as the setting for her fiction.

Finally, a decent lesbian novel.
Well, written, with an actual plot!
Caters to the 'everyone's a lesbian' trope but the reasoning behind it (staying at an lgbtqi2+ bnb) was sound.
Had me yelling at all the sideways turns.
Also, love that Amy was a programmer, there's not enough fiction about IT ladies.
I think I enjoyed it so much because it was an actual murder mystery, rather than just a set for ladies to bang all over, which is rare for the lesbian genre.

The story and charters were interesting , but the writing was more like a young adult book.
