The Game #4

Doll Parts

Rate this book
I have the best boyfriend in the whole world, but there’s one thing I won’t tell him. It’s that I don’t believe in absolute happiness anymore. Not with the cards we’ve been dealt. I mean, come on! Why do we fall for people who don’t want us back? While he’s been pining after Lucian, one of the Masters in his kink community, I’m the lovesick monster-puppy Little who can’t forget my former stepdad KC. Or the kinky porn I once found on his computer…but that’s beside the point!

It’s complicated, to be honest. I try not to think about it. I have Cameron, and I love him so damn much. Why can’t we try to make it on our own? Why does he want us to find a Top that’s just ours? It won’t work. Our stupid hearts refuse to move on.

What’s even stupider is that Cameron insists we seek out a Dom for our relationship in the very kink community where we can find both KC and Lucian.

Ohhh crap. I think he’s got a plan.

I'm often stoically silent or, if the topic interests me, a chronic rambler. In other words, I can discuss writing forever and ever. Fiction, in particular. The love story—while a huge draw and constantly present—is secondary for me, because there's so much more to writing romance fiction than just making two (or more) people fall in love and have hot sex. There's a world to build, characters to develop, interests to create, and a topic or two to research thoroughly. Every book is a challenge for me, an opportunity to learn something new, and a puzzle to piece together. I want my characters to come to life, and the only way I know to do that is to give them substance—passions, history, goals, quirks, and strong opinions—and to let them evolve. Additionally, I want my men and women to be relatable. That means allowing room for everyday problems and, for lack of a better word, flaws. My characters will never be perfect.

Wait…this was supposed to be about me, not my writing.

I'm a writey person who loves to write. Always wanderlusting, twitterpating, kinking, and geeking. There's time for hockey and cupcakes, too. But mostly, I just love to write.

This book wins an extra point because it references one of my all time favourite songs by one of my all time favourite bands - Nightwish's Ghost Love Score.

I'm in two minds over the story as a whole though, parts of it worked really well for me, others not so much and the whole narrative really felt a bit disjointed and as if it was rushing to get to the end.

I love the idea of a polycule with different relationship make-ups, so this starts off with a pair who've been in a relationship for a while but both also in love with two older men, who themselves have a deep friendship which is occasionally sexual.

The Game element of this book also, for me, didn't seem to be as clearly focused as in the related novels in the series. It was a bit of a mishmash of different types of kink that just didn't seem clear as to what the objective was for those involved.

And there's CLOWNS! Not a good thing 😁

Having said the above though, I did enjoy Doll Parts in the main, both Noa and Cameron were cute as a pair, I loved Lucian and KC grew on me as the book went on. Overall though, it didn't have the same impact for me as both Colt/Lucas/Kit's books or the Tenley Twins and Shay's story had.

#ARC kindly received from the author in return for an honest and unbiased review

I put on hold this book for so long because this series is not for me, and I was right unfortunately. I do love Cara’s writing but this series is too heavy on bdsm talk and plays for me. But can’t wait when she releases another standalone or series in the future.

OMG 😍😍
I'M IN LOVE WITH THESE FOUR FANTASTIC MEN!!

Cara Dee had already piqued my interest about KC, Lucian, Cameron and Noa in "Breathless", and I had high expectations.
Well, I can say it's even better
than I thought it would have been.

Doll Parts was unexpectedly funny and sweet, and obviously KINKY AF!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The story flows so smoothly, without almost any trace of angst, that it was the easiest read ever.

Noa and Cameron are young, in love, happy... everything should be perfect, right?!
Wrong: they miss something, or better, someone, a Dom, who can match their needs.
Ah and then there is that lil' detail that they are madly in love with two Doms who are too afraid to open up their hearts.

Lucian and KC are best friends. They live together, they love each other in their own way, they like to play safe avoiding relationship.
They should be happy, right?!
Wrong, because they are in love with two little sparkly subs that are tired of waiting for them.

It could seem complicated but the dynamic between them  really works!! And I loved how the author took her time to develope each relationship but also the bond between all of them.

It not perfect...
Some chapters felt disconnected, and I would have liked more background stories about Cameron and Lucian, and KC and Noa too for the matter. I would have liked more deepness.

But in the end Doll Parts is an amazing read because it shows us the beauty of an unconventional love.

Enjoyed the delving back into this world. I felt Noa and KC had more air time than Cam and Lucien. Still a fun and hot read.

This latest addition to The Game Series by Cara Dee was powerful.

The story explores the different dynamics of a relationship and how there's not one mold that fits them all. Each relationship and each person within it is different and unique. There are many ways to make a relationship work and there's no right and wrong if everything is based on honesty, consent, and communication.

In Doll Parts we see four people come together, explore their individual relationships as well as the one between all of them. We get all four POVs and, even though I wouldn't have minded if that wasn't the case, I liked that we got each one's thoughts.

The story was just great. Not too heavy, not too light; just perfect. It had many funny moments that had me smiling or even outright laughing. Noa was at the center of most of them as he was adorable, but other characters had their moments as well. Also, we got quite a few guest appearances from the other couples of the series. And a few characters that I hope will be getting their own stories at some point.

I liked the light atmosphere of the kink community the characters were a part of. Of course, everyone was serious about safety and they didn't shy away from heavy scenes—they didn't joke around where kink was concerned—but at the same time the general atmosphere was light, relaxed and the main focus was to have fun. The Doms were always too glad to mess with the subs but there was always kindness behind their every comment or action. That was so different from other books, where Doms are presented as always serious and always having everything figured out in their lives. Here, everyone was a person, with their ups and downs, their insecurities, their strengths, their preferences, their weaknesses. There was a realism to the characters that I appreciated very much.

About our four MCs:
KC and Lucian were best friends since they were kids and they'd always been there for each other through all the ups and downs of life.
Noa and Cam met about a year before the story began and started dating after a few months of being best friends.
KC was married to Noa's mother for several years, so he basically helped raise him, and when he realized his attraction to him, he freaked out and distanced himself.
Noa was sure about what he wanted from KC but he let him have the time he asked for, even if that meant that three years later he was still waiting to be let back into his life.
And finally, Lucian and Cam knew each other for a few years as they were both part of the same kink community. Cam was in love with Lucian for basically the entire time he knew him but Lucian was in a relationship, even if it was a bad one, so nothing ever happened between them.

When they all got together (it seemed a little fast how everything fell together so perfectly after so much struggle but I choose to ignore that and focus on everything else) they explored all the possible pairings between them and made the effort to build strong relationships with everyone involved. We only got to see the beginning of them so it was, so far, mostly KC with Noa exploring together and Lucian with Cam doing the same. Those two couples were the most compatible when it came to their kinks, so they naturally gravitated together. Also, there were the feelings they harbored for many years bringing them together. We get scenes with all of them together as well as all other possible pairings, but the relationships between Lucian and Noa as well as the one between KC and Cam weren't very explored yet.

The good news is that there's an awesome note at the end of the story informing us that we'll be seeing the four of them again in the future, so what I'm hoping for is a second story about them. I hope this was just the beginning!

I've enjoyed all of the books in this series so far so I was excited to hear about the release of Doll Parts!

I'm fairly familiar with Cara Dee's books and I know they tend to be unique, sexy and also very cute. While I have really enjoyed the other stories in this series, I have to say that Doll Parts wasn't as big of a hit for me as the others were. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable and I'm certainly interested in reading more in this series!

Doll Parts was hot as hell but I wanted more from the romance!

First of all, I liked the storyline. It seemed like it would make for an exciting story with that bit of a taboo element tossed in and some second chance romance and it definitely was exciting but it fell short in the development. Unfortunately, I didn't have any connection with the characters or feel a genuine connection between them.

Out of the four characters, Noa was only slightly more developed than all the others in my opinion but that left me wanting to know more about Cam, Lucian and KC. When you're writing a book where the relationship has several people, you want to really take the time to flesh each and every one of them out so that the reader can get a sense of who they are and build a connection with them but that part seemed to be glossed over because I felt like I missed out on a lot. It was kind of taken for granted that the history between KC & Noa and Lucian & Cam would speak for themselves and tell us everything we needed to know about the guys and their relationship but that didn't work for me. As a result, I never was able to full connect with them.

I also felt like the romance was a little hard to buy into. I could understand the attraction between them and affection/friendship but love felt like a bit of a stretch. Things moved really quickly and I just never felt like they took the time to fall for one another, rather it seemed like everyone already loved each other in an insta-love kind of way and nothing actually evolved besides them officially getting together. I don't know how else to explain it, not enough happened. It all just kind of blended together for me.

My other thing is with the relationship between the four of them. I never quite felt like it was an MMMM romance, it felt more like a bunch of couples. I don't think enough time was spent developing the relationship between KC & Cam, KC & Lucian and Lucian & Noa. As a whole, I was just a little disappointed with the characters and their romance.

I did however like the lightheartedness of the story and the steam which was really well done of course. It wasn't a bad book by any means, it just wasn't as interesting as I was expecting it to be. Honestly, at this point I'm noticing that the books in this series are kind of blending into one another so that might be my problem. They all just seem too similar and follow a similar pattern.

Steamy and sweet Doll Parts is a fun and quick read but it just didn't quite meet my expectations.

Overall, I had a nice time reading this book and it was fun to read the cute and sassy banter but I was little disappointed that I didn't love it. In the end, it ended up being an OK read but not much more than that. It needed a lot more character and relationship development for me to have fallen head over heals with the story but I do think it'll be a hit for many readers. I am giving Doll Parts 3.75 stars would recommend it to fans of MMMM romance with BDSM elements.

Cara Dee has for some time now been an auto read for me and having read the first three books in this series I have to say that I have really enjoyed them. The characters wander back and forth into each other's stories making for one big family. These books will...like any other genera...not be for everyone. That's mainly the reason I always list the genera in the start of any review except for my two groups that would never object to the topic. Noa, who we have met before is a "Little", and he's in a “relationship” with Cameron, although their kink needs/wants don’t really go together with each other and they both have crushes on other men in their club community. They never depart from what their relationship is together, and it mostly feels like "best friends" than anything else. They each encourage the other to go after men they are attracted to and that share their particular kink. Noa is interested in his ex-stepfather, KC, and Cameron is interested in Lucian, a Dom that he likes but who isn't looking for anything serious. Noa & KC get quite a bit more page time than Cameron & Lucian. As you would expect, there are some really hot scenes in this story. I have read just about...and own almost everything Cara Dee has written, so I found the writing to express the character's felling's loud and clear and from what I have read about the "Little" persona and the different kinds of kink that people are into, I believe she is 100% accurate in the telling. The story focuses a lot on their needs and wants which seems to overpower any other aspects of their lives...but to each his own. The submissive characters, Noa and Cameron, are cute & sexy and if you don’t mind the kink aspect, you will probably really enjoy this story. If you like things a little more hardcore...hard to be more hardcore than this...but just saying... You may find that Cara Dee has some other stories that might fit that bill as well. Since I bought all 13 books in this series, and this is just #4...I have more treats waiting on the bookshelf.

A love story of epic proportions

It’s hard to even write a review for this book because I don’t want to spoil any plot like at all.

What I will say is this dynamic love story blew me away. The care, understanding, love and kink was SO fascinating to read. I could read endless books about these characters.

Noa is an endearing brat that you will fall in love with. He seems fragile but he’s the strongest. Cameron is part of the puzzle needed to get Lucien and KC to see what’s missing. Explosive chemistry ensues.
I need more! I love this whole series.
I see a re-read in my future.

First poly relationship of four (or as Lucian calls it flexibility and openness within a structure of boundaries) in the series and I wasn’t sure how it’d work out for me, but once again the author managed to create the right dynamic and balance for all the characters.
I especially liked the symmetry of Noa and Cam, the two subs, both having “history” with one of the two Doms, KC and Lucian, and being “pining” (so to speak, they were both living their life, no doormat MCs for me, thanks) for them by the time they meet and fall in love (btw, it was so great that ). KC and Lucian are very close childhood friends and have lived together since KC . So, by the beginning of the book there were already some strong or loose connections between the two D/s couples (KC & Noa and Lucian & Cam), between the two subs and between the two Doms. Noa also knew Lucian as KC’s childhood friend and Cam knew KC as a fellow member of their kink community.
That made it realistic that when Cam lost his patience and decided to give it a serious try so he and his boyfriend could get the Doms they wanted, it didn’t feel rushed or unrealistic that things came together pretty quickly. Or at least it felt that way to me because these four really work together at all levels.
I also appreciated how it was made clear that a relationship like this one takes some navigating and negotiating and the rules don’t have to be the same for everybody involved, since different people need different things. It felt right for the characters that when it came to discussing their relationship, , it fit their different personalities and their kinks. Speaking of which, while Lucian and Cam’s core kinks were on the more “traditional” side, KC and Noa certainly explored some I haven’t seen often or ever before, like the

The only real issue I had with this book was that sometimes I wanted more of one character’s POV or I was disappointed to get to see something specific from one character’s POV instead of another one’s. There’s a lot in Noa’s POV, included , while we’re only being told about …although given what we are told happened (), I was more than happy to not have seen that. Still, I would’ve loved to get more of Cameron’s and Lucian’s POV, although I understand that’s one of the issues with some many MCs and limited page time. Since there’s another book down the road for these four guys, I hope I’ll get my wish later in the series.

Not my fave.

There was a lot of kink included in this book that I had no interest in. I have no triggers, but I do have an irrational fear of dolls and “doll play” gave me literal chills and nausea. So that was fun to learn about myself.

Mostly I just think there was too much going on. There were four people in the relationship, but even though Cam and Noa were together first, it was mostly broken into Lucian and Cam, and KC and Noa. I wish there were more scenes with Lucian and Noa, and KC and Cam but most of what happened between them was off-page. I am super salty about the KC/Cam diaper scene we missed. I just don’t like the idea of a poly relationship where there are obvious “favorites” amongst them.

Also we got so much of Noa and KC’s POVs that so, so much of Lucian and Cam’s interactions also happened off-page. It doesn’t make sense to me because the first three books of this series danced around Lucian and Cam’s mutual attraction and getting them together, only to totally skip over all the parts of them finally being a couple.

There were also a lot of scenes that gave me the ick. KC pretending not to know how to do needle play and acting like he was mangling Noa’s body. I understand it was supposed to be mental sadism, but the whole thing rubbed me the wrong way. Same with the whole brat/tops scene in the beginning of the games. Maybe I don’t understand the dynamic enough, but I feel like the subs/bottoms are always getting punished just for having fun in this series. It makes me have negative feelings towards the doms/tops. Every scene of happiness seems to end with them ultimately feeling badly. I don’t know.

Then there was just KC in general. I didn’t care much for him as a character. I liked the disability representation in this book a lot, but my problems with KC stemmed from way before his accident. I just wasn’t a big fan. And I really didn’t like Lucian all that much until further into the book. Probably because, again, we didn’t get all that much of him making amends with Cam.

Overall, just meh. Too much was going on, but not the things I wanted to see. Still excited to continue the series though.

Why did i read this 5 months age version 4

Ah yes, this is the part of the series where its not really pure incest anymore but its the stepdad trope+2 more people so now they're somewhat polyamory.

Funny and kinky!

This book had much more humor (Noa was a HOOT!) and far less angst than I expected. It also dabbled in a lot of smoking-hot kinks. I really loved how all the characters came together so naturally and what their relationship looked like. I’m thrilled we might get to revisit them in the future!

This was all kinds of hot and kinky but the relationship progression was a little too fast for my liking. In the context of the story it made perfect sense. These characters have a history that we are only privy to a very small amount of. But the off page stuff is what kept me at arms length from the instant relationship these four find themselves in. Still, I liked them all together.

As always the writing is stellar. The kink is eye-opening. The feelings are fluffy. And there are a few laugh out loud moments that endeared me to these characters. There are still many unanswered questions so I’m looking forward to seeing thee four in subsequent books.

reread (4.25/5).

What I loved about this book most was the stupidity (although justified stupidity) of the Doms. It’s really not all that often you see a Dom being, well, stupid and utterly blind. I liked that Cam and Noa were the ones pushing for once. I liked that they knew what they wanted and KC and Lucien didn’t — at least not right away.

“This thing between you and me, Cameron, has been there for years. The only difference between then and now is that nothing stands in my way anymore, least of all my own stupidity. I hope that makes my intentions clearer—and if there’s anything you need me to save, I will. Because I won’t allow any doubts from now on.”

The sounding session was one of my absolute favourites. I cannot put into words how exciting but also how groundbreaking this scene was for Noa and KC. I absolutely loved it.

“You were so fucking beautiful with Greer, freckles. When you said you needed your Daddy there, nothing could stop me. You broke me.” “Good,” I echoed. “Now we can break things together.”

The kinks, especially the ones Noa and KC were into, couldn’t have been better. Objectification is not something I ever really thought about but man was it hot. I totally get the appeal. I just wished there were more scenes…

But the Game was fantastic. Man, were the different stations of the Funhouse fun. I loved the fear play most but the wax play was incredibly funny — especially because KC and Noa were definitely not into it but made do anyway. I laughed hard, just saying.

previous rating: 4/5.

This series has me kinda hooked. The books are not perfect and in my opinion the romance is always only in second place to the kink which I don’t like. For me, those two things need to go hand in hand.

But nonetheless I liked this one a lot. I loved the plot and how all the characters, especially Noa and KC.

What I didn’t like was the obvious split between the four of the. and how the point of views were handled.
Cam and Noa’s relationship kinda disappeared after the four found to each other and the relationship between KC and Cam wasn’t shown at all whilst we got a teeny glimpse into the one between Lucian and Noa. That didn’t seem balanced at all.

The Game in this one is so far my favourite. That was a fun experience and I am truly happy that we got to follow Noa and KC throughout The Game and not the other two (I think I can safely say that I love those two more than Lucian and Cam…).

All in all, I liked this one and the kinks were fucking fun!

This is one of my absolute favorite kinky series, and this one just took it to a whole new level. It was like a kink checklist! I’ve been reading BDSM for 20 years and managed to read some new-to-me kinks in this. And the characters! Can I just say that Noa is probably one of my favorite sub/boy/monster Little EVER. He’s the glue to this foursome. Add in the little tastes of taboo between Noa and KC… it’s just the perfect recipe for all poly kinky book. Thank you for this, Cara. And thank you for not ending their story here! I cannot wait to read more of them.

4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Starting this book off with Noa and KC in the past was a brilliant idea. They sucked me in right away. I could not get enough of them. Even when their first prologue was angsty, and gave you all the reasons they aren’t together when Noa is with Cam - the chemistry between Noa and his once step dad is thru the roof! And the way Cara Dee writes it from first person, and the voice you can hear from Noa while reading is just delightful.
And I needed to say all that first, because this was a huge try for me! The last few Cara Dee books I read just did not do it for me. I was so close to just giving up all together, but bam. Noa done stole my heart, and KC stole my pants. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Then Prologue 2 just ripped my soul out of my body, like waaah I just fell in love with these two. Give me a second before you try making me feel so many mushy emotions. 🥺

Prologue 3 had me freaking 😍😍 at the way Noa explains the feelings he developed for Cam. How he’s intent on having him at some point. Noa just needs to look at it like doll parts, just find all the parts that come together to make it work. Loved that whole thing. And Sloan! Loved that amazing man.

Okay so pretty much just gushing over all the prologues. Genius setup.

The book then moves into Cam’s POV for a bit, and he is easy to love as well. He’s the “good boy,” but really his internal voice is so feisty, confident and sure of himself. He kind of plays the ‘older brother’ role in his relationship with Noa. Although after a year of being together, he’s starting to feel the effects of it. Cam is in love with his adorable Noa, but Cam knows he needs someone else to take the reins. For both of them. So Cam plots how to get Noa back with KC; meanwhile, while Cam is being plotty about that, one of my favorite twins - Reese - mentions he’s plotting something in return when it comes to Lucian and Cam. Let the games begin.

Love love love how even though this is two couples/poly restricted found family, there is enough love to go around and no one is ever left out. Even when Cam is working to get Noa his KC back, that never changes Cam’s relationship with Noa. Everyone is solid. Everyone’s kinks, needs and wants are taken care of by the right partner, at the right time. ❤️

And I’ll end with raving about the fucking night of The Games. Once again the games were epic, but also hilariously funny. Probably because it spoke to the brat in me and I just sat there with my mouth hanging open in awe, and tears in my eyes from holding in my barely contained laughter. Those poor, poor subbies. 😅

MORE LIKE THIS CARA DEE. I DEMAND MORE. 💸💸💸💸💰💰💰👏🏻😍

So. Much. Anticipation.

I have been waiting so long for these guys to find their HEA. There were so many pitfalls that I felt like it would never happen.

I adored Noa. He was spunky, fun, hilarious, wild and so sexy. Cam was sexy in this underrated way, but Noa was in your face. KC and Lucian were perfectly suited for them.

By far, KC and Noa had the most history explored in Doll Parts. Their backstory was lengthy and complex. So much had happened between them. I was so happy to see KC finally come around and claim Noa.

Lucian was just stubborn. Too stubborn to see why was right in front of him. Cam wasn’t going to wait around for Lucian to see how good things could be between them. He took the bill by the horns and won.

The four of them together was magic. Sexy and intimate, kinky and sweet. They all slotted just right with one another.

I wish we had gotten more from Lucian and KC’s POV. They were like an afterthought. I also wish we had seen when Noa told his mom about he and KC, just because her reaction would be great.

This was a great book and I am looking forward to more stories set in this universe.

Wow. This book took turns I did not expect! Four very different men: Noa, the bratty pup with an angry streak. Cameron, always striving to be the best boy he can. KC, the sweet Daddy with a sadistic streak. Lucian, the reserved and romantic Dom. Cam and Noa have both wanted something with Lucian and KC for quite awhile, but when they meet each other, they’re enamored. As happy as they are together, there’s something missing. Both are too submissive to give the other the dominance they need. When the Game is back on and these four get together, sparks fly. But there’s a lot to navigate when you put together four different men with past struggles. Maybe they can put the pieces together to make a whole that works.

I liked Noah and Cameron together, they were so sweet and I kind of missed them when they found their Dom's.
The dynamic between the couples was good but it irked me a lot that when big things happened it showed from the wrong pov.
Noah argued with KC and we got it from Cameron's pov. We missed out on a major change between KC and Cam because we only got told about it after it happened.
I get that it's difficult writing with many characters in mind, but it was done the wrong way here I felt.

3.5 STARS

I have to say I have mixed feelings about this one. There just wasn’t enough buildup to this foursome. Cam and Noa were adorable and KC and L were absolutely wonderful Daddies and Masters. But I don’t I guess I felt a little disconnected.
Very hot though, even if the doll play was a little anticlimactic at times. I guess I just feel I need more insight out of each of them. Really hoping their next books shows that.

Awesome! I love that we get to see more of characters previously mentioned in the other books in this series. The community in this series really comes to live and I hope this series never ends.

I like to think that every time Cara Dee releases a new book the romance book world gets a little brighter, because she’s just that good at what she does.

All of the books in The Game series have something to do with Daddy Doms, usually with an additional twist. This time, the additional twists are a beautiful romantic relationship between two submissives, with one of the submissives having a long standing crush on his ex-stepfather and the other having a crush on a Master in their community. This, in the end, makes for a delicious milieu of spice and play sure to thrill any fan of BDSM gay romance and especially of Cara Dee fans.

I loved the characters in this story, and I loved the plot equally so. Where the book faltered, just a little, was in letting the relationships between all four main characters fully develop and flourish in a natural manner. The pacing felt forced, if not outright pushed. Don’t get me wrong, I love fast-burn and low-angst, but with how much each character had going on it didn’t feel like it came from an organic place.

While this forced pacing didn’t outright ruin the book, it did affect my overall enjoyment of the book because it caused me to question the characters and their motives more than once. I felt worried for them because I thought they were all moving too fast and it would all fall apart. In the end, I was still a bit worried. For a book with a guaranteed HEA, that shouldn’t be happening.

But I’m looking forward to book 5, as this is one of my favorite MM romance series.

Thanks to Cara Dee and Xpresso Book Tours for this eARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Cameron and Noa are having a relationship, but they are basically two submissives and they don't know how this is going to work for them. As they're both pining over KC and Lucien, we see them finally getting closer to what they would ideally would dream of, one step at the time.

Oh boy. I thought I read and knew about kinky fuckery. Was I wrong? Did I get to know new things that I had never knew before? Yes, yes I did. I don't know if this is because this was a MM BDSM read, or because I hadn't read BDSM for a long while, but I was surprised at how many new things I discovered. Some were super hot and I loved some of the scenes. I especially loved the sentimental value behind the balance that they held between them. But I can't deny that I had to laugh at several scenes. I don't know if that was the intent or not, but I found them ridiculous.

Not my cup of tea unfortunately, so I don't think I'll continue with this series, but if you would be interested in exploring kinks , feel free to read this one.

Really love Cara Dee but this was only halfway for me - 2.5 stars. I found myself skipping and lost the flow.
You can’t win them all I guess !

why am i still reading about stuff i don't (normally) enjoy yet i still enjoyed this book!!? well, to an extent bc probably this book was the most triggering for me in this series so far... yet Cara Dee has such a mesmerizing way with their writing, makes me totally hooked even despite some uncomfortable scenes (which is totally a me thing).

there are loads of things happening in this book - with 4 MCs that's no surprise, and despite so many things i enjoyed in all their relationship, i would've loved to get to know Lucas & Cameron more, but also Noa & KC. not just as individuals but also as couples - i think Lucas × Cam could've shined more, as well as Lucas × Noa, KC × Cam, Lucas × KC, and all 4 of them together.. ik it's all a lot, and a lot did happen in the book but i wish there were more depth shown to them as individual characters & how they relationship developed.

i must mention my absolute fave was getting to know Noa & Cam's relationship!! they were the absolute best & so fluffing adorable together!! how they fell for each other totally melted my heart & i'm soo happy they found each other & their ultimate HEA together🥰
