He's Always Hidden Behind a Mask. Until it Was No Longer Possible.

Asher Stevens is a legend when it comes to Wildcat football. If the gossip that swirls through campus is true, he’ll be one of this year’s top NFL draft picks. To say I can’t stand the guy is a major understatement. Other women might be taken in by his handsome face, chiseled body, and athletic prowess, but

I can't believe that's the end of the series, I want more. I don't know who or how but I am so not ready to leave these guys yet. Each and every book has been great and I have loved all of these characters.

And despite the fact that I felt like I knew who Asher was I really wasn't expecting to see so much depth and growth from him. He was so shallow and such a man whore I wasn't really sure what to expect from him.

Lola was beautiful. I loved her from the start and seeing how hard she worked I jus

Ever since Jennifer Sucevic announced this book, I've been so excited to read Asher & Lola, especially after their little encounter at Campus God, but I didn't really know well what to expect from its story until I read the first chapters: its complex, moving, heartbreaking, tender and I enjoy it much more than I expected, and although I don't take away from Campus God place as my favorite book in the series, Campus Legend it's a very close sec

Lola's run-ins with the campus golden boy Asher haven't exactly endeared him to her. So what to do when she becomes his tutor? Perhaps they'll learn things about each other neither had expected. She might find that though his life seems luxurious, his parents have taught him that without sports he'd be nothing. And he might find that not everyone's life is as easy as his. After all, he's been skating through life, smoking out, enjoying groupies, and playing football, without

The challenges that life has thrown at Lola have forced her to become independent. She is focused on her family and school which doesn’t leave much time for anything else. Drawing the attention of the star football player who doesn’t seem to have a care in the world is the last thing she needs however when he needs a tutor, and she needs money she realizes that appearances can be deceiving.

Asher appears to be destined for the NFL, so his college experience consists of football and fun. When one

I absolutely LOVED this book! Having met Asher in the previous books, I was curious about him as a main character and as soon as this book hit my e-reader real life went on pause (to the detriment of a couple of work projects) and I feel no shame (well, maybe a teeny tiny amount), but it was worth having to work a bit longer after I finished reading. As much as the men of this series are portrayed as being "man whores" (some more than others), I enjoyed seeing how much each of them grew over the ...more

I’m not going to lie, this was a hard read for me. I read to 53% then sat on it for a week… why? I like to think it takes a lot to shake me but this book ruffled my feathers. The relationship development between Lola and Asher was amazing it was her relationship with her father I struggled with, tbh it broke something inside me. Sensitive subject matter that was dealt with really well.
This is a good read once I pulled on my big girl panties but it took me a while to get there.

I'm a sucker for new adult (college) sports romances, especially the ones that have an enemies to lovers element, and this one was excellent! Jennifer Sucevic is one of my favorite authors, and I am just loving this series.

Lola and Asher were enemies, then tutor, then friends, then lovers. Their relationship progressed so naturally, and their story was so well-told, I just loved everything about it. Their chemistry was undeniable, and I love it when the guy completely changes his ways for that o

Oh what a book.

I adored Asher and Lola. Underneath it all Asher is one HOT, adorable, caring, selfless sweetheart. And Lola is strong, independent and takes no prisoners. Together they are an amazing team.

Lola tries to fight it, but Asher sneaks in and what a support he is. My heart cracked with what Lola’s gone through in her past and then to have that sprung on her, and Asher is her rock.

Few dramas to keep you on your toes.

An amazing addition to this wonderful series 💖

First impressions, Asher Stevens is an entitled tool, a major player on campus. Every time Lola catches sight of him, he’s surrounded by an entourage of girls. There’s a ton of athletes who go on to play professional sports, but only a select few are treated with his celebrity status.

He hasn’t been doing any of his own homework and when confronted, initially he’s resentful. He’s never attentive in class.

He hasn’t made an effort, in fact, he’s been satisfied coasting through both high school and

Campus Legend by Jennifer Sucevic is book five in the Campus series. It follows Lola Diaz and Asher Stevens with telling their story through dual perspective.

Once again Jennifer Sucevic delivered another story that was super emotionally charged with a lot of intensity surrounding tension filled moments steering towards a strong heavy flow of angsty-ness. Especially when drama occurred. But it wasn’t surprising given the storyline of Lola and Asher.
It may have started out as an Enemi

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephane's Book Reports.

To say I can't stand the guy is a major understatement. Other women might be taken in by his handsome face, chiseled body, and athletic prowess, but not me. “He’s a campus playboy who takes nothing but football seriously.”

I loved this book! Initially I was appalled at Asher, he was such a cocky jerk, but as the story develops and all his hidden depths are revealed, what a lovely man! Also Lola was very prickly in the beginning, and I was worried this would be one of those enemies to lovers that involve a lot of squabbling and the phrase “I hate you” repeated ad nauseam, but it was only used one, thank you author! This couple went from bickering enem

“Maybe I didn’t realize I was more until I saw myself through your eyes.”

Campus Legend gave me ALL THE FEELS and deserves even more than 5 stars. Asher and Lola’s story is my absolute favorite of all the books in the Campus Series. They were EVERYTHING!

“His actions actually match his words. He promised to be here for me, and that’s exactly what he’s doing.”

My heart broke for Lola. In spite of all the pain and people who let her down, she was still able to be so kindhearted and giving. It too

This story is about Asher and Lola who we already met in the previous book in this series. Asher is a manwhore galore and breaths sex. Lola can’t stand the guy and formed her own opinion about him: smokes weed, spends more time partying than studying and screws everything on two legs who’s female. When Asher is in need of a tutor to pass his class he asks Lola for help. There’s something about this girl that has him drawn to her. Too bad she doesn’t want to be around him. When circumstances make ...more

Sweet, steamy, and laced with angst, I couldn’t have imagined a better ending to this series. Asher and Lola’s story is exactly what I wanted it to be, and I couldn’t get enough of it.

Asher and Lola aren’t anywhere near friendly when the book begins, but a series of events put them directly in each other’s paths and they end up sort of needing to be able to get along together. Their partnership is definitely unexpected, seeing as they generally regard one another with a level of teasing and/or

“I get that you’re scared.  If I’m being perfectly honest, so am I—but I won’t hurt you.  I promise.” His words are like a punch to the gut.  They steal my breath away like a thief in the night. “How can you say that?” I whisper.  “You have no idea what will happen in the future.” His blue eyes grow so serious that looking away from the sincerity shining from them becomes impossible.  “Because I’ve never wanted to take more care with anyone in my life than I do with you.”

3.5/5 !!!

Okay! This is a tough one. I really enjoyed the book, it was one I didn't want to put down!

But. It wasn't always for the reasons I'd personally like. To break it down, I adored both our MCs! Individually, they stood out brilliantly. Lola was so strong and resilient, my heart went out for her. And Asher? I fell HARD for that guy. He was so damn selfless and thoughtful when it came to Lola, I wanted to hug him!

This was my first book by Jennifer Sucevic and certainly will not be my last! I know I will now have to read the other books in the series to see where Asher and Lola truly met. I am a sucker for new adult (college) sports romances with the enemies to lovers trope. And this one was an excellent lead.

Jennifer Sucevic has once again delivered another unforgettable and unputdownable addition to her ( The Campus Series ) a series that is one of the best I’ve read as well as one of my very guilty pleasures !!! College Romance, Sports , Enemies to Lovers , Opposites Attract !!! Lola and Asher’s emotional rollercoaster of a journey was and is the perfect blend of all of the above tropes . New adult romance at its finest.

What happens when Lola, the girl who was forced to behave as an adult since she was twelve years old and carries the burdens of a household meets Asher, the Campus Legend whose only concern is to get drafted to the NFL because he thinks that this is his only chance to excel? Hate (?) at first sight.... but definitely a sizzling attraction that cannot be denied.

When Asher is given the chance to force Lola to tutor him, they both get more than they expected but mo

The Campus Series Book #5

Asher Stevens, 22 plays football for the Western Wildcats and will probably be one of the top NFL picks this year if he passes all his classes and right now one class is not looking too good. He has the looks, charm and all the girls and, he has them doing his homework until he gets caught. Communications is his major but he's got to pass the class and the professor is none too happy with him.
Lola Diaz works in her family's restaurant and has avoided Asher at all costs.

I have loved every book in this series, and I admit I didn't even read the blurb for this one before going in. So to my surprise this book ended up being a whole heap bigger on all the feels than what I was anticipating. The storyline surrounding Lola's estranged father left me incredibly angry. I had great hopes that the man would redeem himself, but that wasn't meant to be. There is a shining light at the end of the story because of this, which made me happy for that part, but I just couldn't ...more

An amazing series comes to an end. And despite being truly sad about it, it has the best ending imaginable.

Asher is a legend. On and off the footballfield. He has a reputation with women and is proud of it. His one and only concern is getting drafted to the NFL.

Lola's life switches between classes, work and worrying about her mother. Lola had some not so friendly encounters with Asher in the past.

But a few unfortunate circumstances bring them together and closer. And with the time both learn

Asher and Lola’s book from afar may look like it will be one of those reads where the heroine doesn’t like the playboy hero because of the way he acts, yet the more you dive in their story it is so much more. Asher has a reputation around campus that he lives up to and he loves nothing more than to ruffle Lola’s feathers any chance he can get. He doesn’t understand why he does this only that he loves how worked up she gets, and she interests him. Lola works hard because her life has never been e ...more
