Exciting demands of arranged marriage!
A beratingly fragrant love story between headstrong Mira Kapoor and heartless Adil Oberoi. Adil is an accomplished young businessman who doesn’t believe in love. Or so he thought. Mira managed to change this callous beast, Adil, into a softie who fell head over heels for her. Most of the narration focuses on Mira and Adil’s reservations about the arranged marriage they were being forced into.
The writer specifies many qualities of these two main protagonists and the supporting characters. Such a level of detailing helps the reader connect with each of them. It made the story that much more exciting and appetizing.
But we are not handed a sweet romantic end. Instead, a twist in the plot breaks in, giving considerable emotional stress to Adil, Mira, and their families. It all ends well, though, without any hangovers. Giving an adorable re-start to Adil and Mira’s marriage.

Beautiful Read
Story has all the elements for a good romantic read. But what stood out to me is there is an innate authenticity in the way intimacy is portrayed or how trauma is relieved even if it is for one scene. But I quite liked how the detailing is very honest and real.
This is my kinda genre/series, of brothers falling in love. But I can't help but wonder if there are any series of sisters and their love sagas. If anyone knows recommend me one. Or Era you can think on those lines maybe?! Because for the first time I saw three sisters coming together here. Interesting individual characters and thick as thieves though their bond wasn't really explored.

The first book :-- the forced marriage between adil and mira , mira got into this marriage to help her father s business from bankrupcy, though starting on the wrong foot she eventually fell in love with Adil. Adil being a Man of success and Youngest CEO can not see anything around him except the growth of his business. he couldnt see that he was in love with his beaytiful wife until a possesive maniac friend of adil kidnaps mira and thretens to kill her. Fear of loss brings a person so close to truth and realization. wed locked has been a beautiful sweet srory and a very good read. enjoyed reading this book . My first time from this author but i enjoyed. A short read.A simple sweet love story. Im off to the next in the series.......

'Wed Locked' is the first book in 'The Locked Series', written by the author Era Mable. This book proved to be a very good read for me. I enjoyed reading this arranged marriage love story a lot 😍
Mira and Adil are both forced into an arrange marriage, for business gains. Adil is an extremely accomplished businessman, but he is heartless, and only believes in no strings attached affairs. Mira is a beautiful girl with simple desires, but she is fiercely independent and quite headstrong.
From an unpleasant clash between them in the beginning, to having strong reservations about each other, to exploring the burning chemistry between them; things start to change, feelings start to get involved, and true love follows 🥰
What I loved about this book :-
🌸 The story started off with a bang !! A great start indeed !! The concept of the story was really nice and well thought out.
🌸 I loved the main characters of Adil and Mira. I especially loved Adil a lot :-) Also, the supporting characters in the book, immediately made me want to know more about them. I wanted to know each of their stories.
🌸 The characterization done by the author was very strong and crystal clear. The story's memorable characters are definitely the USP of this book.
🌸 The pace of the story really picked up during the climax. And the climax with its exciting turns proved to be amazing !!
What I thought could be improved upon:-
🌸 Sometimes I felt that the various descriptions and the thoughts of the characters became a little stretched and repetitive.
🌸 In some parts, I felt that there was more procrastination, rather than actual dialogues happening between the characters.
However, I would just like to say here, that being a regular romance reader, I am just nitpicking here, as a force of habit 🙈
This is the author's debut novel, and she has done a great job with this book. I feel she has the potential to be above awesome!! I am definitely looking forward to read the next book in this series now. And I do recommend this book to all readers ❤️

For quite a while one reads this on, having noticed it because a famous gem graces the cover in a simpler ring, all the while noticing the various elementary mistakes in language and the forced abusive words, soft porn descriptions, and so forth, wondering why an Indian adult educated enough in the language would leave it so raw all the way to publication.
One assumes that the author is Indian, because the story is set in India, in Mumbai.
But at some point one is far too irritated with the false tone of the whole discourse of the way author is dealing with an arranged wedding between two families from the city, both st top of the financial and social ladder, but seemingly unacquainted as far as the younger generation goes. Both being northerners in ancestry, and one even fitting the description of the real richest family as far as the residence goes - a tower more than twenty floors - something is wrong somewhere.
To begin with, the shock expressed by the young at the arranged match is unnatural - and the family need not be on verge of bankruptcy for this to happen - as is their bring unacquainted at that level of society, as is the daughter running a cafe as a chef (an independent mind, fine, but chef rather than other choices that would fit better, is a tiny pebble under the feet, amongst several others).
For some reason one looks at the title again and notices the name of the author.
That explains a lot.
Perhaps it's one of those teenagers of US whose school assignment got selected by a publisher, because India is a hot topic, and arranged matches a convenient handle for another bashing? As if dating via videos or ads is different, or casual pickups in bars superior.
Having finished and read the blurb after the book, well, the author isn't quite still a schoolgirl it'd seem, except she is, one without a school.
Faults of the book don't change for better as one reads on, despite her flare for both what publishers now insist for this category of what used to be called mills & boon, and for the sudden drama.

I finished reading 'Wed Locked' in just one day, and I'm still thinking about the story. So the story that started off as a deal turned into something so beautiful and magical that I was swooning throughout.
I loved how the story had a great mix of angst, drama, chemistry, friendship, family dynamics, and romance.
Mira, the main female character, is a strong and independent woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She's also very loving and caring towards her family, which I found really relatable. I loved her character a lot!
Adil, the main male character, is a bit different. He comes across as arrogant and aloof at first, but as you get to know him, you realize he's got a soft spot for his family and brothers. And when he falls in love, he's got a whole different side that's just adorable. I loved how his chemistry with Mira leapt off the pages - it was like I could feel the heat!
The side characters in the story are also really well-written. I loved Ruhi, Mira's best friend, and the friendship they shared. It was so heartwarming to see how much they cared for each other. The other characters, like Vaayu, Kabir, and Kyra, added a lot of depth to the story.

Captivating is the right word if I have to say something about this novel. Though arrange marriage is quite common but every author has his own way of weaving the story & I must say Era Mable has done a wonderful job in delivering a common trope with fresh dew drops. Well Adil & Mira we’re strong protagonists struggling with their own feelings & you would enjoy reading their emotions in the form of wonderful words & scenes narrated by author. The best part is there is nothing dramatic like u find in some of the books. In order to write Billionaire romance people go overboard sometimes. This story is close to reality & characters have their flaws as well which is but natural. Everyone human has flaws & how he or she overcomes the same the sake of his loved is the beauty.
I would not say since it’s a first time effort, so it’s good. This story is actually beautiful & weaved well. Author has control over narration & every emotion flows smoothly.
I personally like full length novel & the plot justifies the length of the book.

The protagonists here are Mira Kapoor and Adil Oberoi. Mira Kapoor is a normal girl who always wished to live a simple life. For her, passion is all that matters. She dreamt of a romantic love partner and a exciting married life.
On the other hand, Adil Oberoi is an arrogant billionaire. He is so passionate about his business that he can do anything just to flourish in his business.
The two are tied into a knot of marriage. The marriage proposal amongst the two is to save Kapoor's buisness and to land the same into a dream project.
They are 'wed locked', a marriage that's of no meaning. No love, no feelings. What do you this book will happen in their lives? Will the two be able to go through their married relationship? Know it all yourselves by just diving deep into the storyline.

The protagonists here are Mira Kapoor and Adil Oberoi. Mira Kapoor is a normal girl who always wished to live a simple life. For her, passion is all that matters. She dreamt of a romantic love partner and a exciting married life.
On the other hand, Adil Oberoi is an arrogant billionaire. He is so passionate about his business that he can do anything just to flourish in his business.
The two are tied into a knot of marriage. The marriage proposal amongst the two is to save Kapoor's buisness and to land the same into a dream project.

The book “Wed Locked” written by author Era Mable is a thrilling story revolving around the arranged marriage of Mira Kapoor and Adil Oberoi. Mira Oberoi is a fiercely independent woman born into an immensely influential family of an eminent businessman, in her twenties and a culinary chef by profession. She liked to live her own life and co-owned a café named The Caffeine Kiss alongside her best friend Ruth. Adil Oberoi is a hard core businessman, a wealthy architect and an heir to an MNC conglomerate. He could do anything to keep his business results up, even if it is to submit to an arranged marriage with the daughter of the rival company’s owner. Adil and Mira are poles apart in their mentality, lifestyle and behaviour. Will they be able to retain their relationship, or will they fall apart as a result of their differences?
The characters are very well developed, and the book has been written in a colloquial style, quite easy to understand and comprehend. It’s a good romantic book for young adults who are new to reading. Will be waiting to read the rest of the books of the series!

The story starts with the story of Adil , a handsome looking businessman belonging from a rich business family . Adil used to be very serious on all the busines related matters irrespective of the two of his brothers who were always busy with parties.
The other character is of Mira Kapoor , a very beautiful yet simple girl who was also belonging from a well settled business family but she always dreamt of establishing her own life . She did not liked the ravish lifestyle of her father and she was always busy in handling the tantrums of her you get sister Nitya , who was definitely a hard task to handle.

The both of the main characters were quite similar to each other but never displayed it. Their first meeting was on a very bad note leaving them with bad impressions of each other. One unexpected happening came into their life which made it bound for both of them to spend their lives together.

The story has shown suitable amounts of romance , happiness and importance of a soulmate.
The author has written a good story which can be a total fun if movies or series are made taken up this story.
