I agree that we all have to take more ownership in our personal health and become more educated. This will be a book that I will refer back to many times. I’m hoping to get my family to read it also, so we can all have a lifetime of health and happiness.

I agree with most of the principles in the book but appreciate the detail Dr Weil brings to the table more. This book seemed light on detail.

I am not a believer in ph levels. I am a believer in gut health, unprocessed, closer to the source, getting rest, low impact walking, weight lifting & minimizing chemical disruptors (personally I use less fragrance in my body care stuff) messages though.

So not bad advice but also not in great depth.

I have real A LOT of books like this and my expectations honestly started out a little low but I felt like this had some new ideas and perspectives that resonated with me. I liked the format and agreed with a lot of what they discussed. A solid read.
