T.L. Shively is an award-winning author who plays mom and wife with a daytime job but after hours you will find her knee-deep in gnomes, fairies, and all things fantasy. She loves when her imagination takes her places she hasn't been, then she writes them down on paper so she can share them.

She loves playing RPG games both online and game systems, her favorite is Kingdom Hearts. Could have something to do with her Disney addiction. Crafting, drawing and artsy could also be used to describe her.

Good storyline, and perfect for young readers. Jusnps right in and keeps interest. As an English teacher, some of the sentence structure was off, and I had to reread those parts to make sense of it.

An epic tale, set in the world of Greek gods and goddesses. I loved Calista and the unique group of supporting characters surrounding her, even if at times there almost seemed to be too many to keep track of. There are some truly sad moments, but throughout, Calista’s focus and determination remains true. An original and compelling story with the promise of much more…I received a copy of this book from the author via Quirky Blind Date with a Book

Spider’s Awakening is a fast-paced and compelling story that weaves Greek mythology with other legends and lore. I enjoyed this fresh take and imaginative exploration.

Calista is a fantastic protagonist and there are many other memorable characters to meet throughout her journey of self-discovery. I love Scratch (and Riker and Draken!)

Rosie Cusack’s narration of the audiobook is superb. She skillfully brings characters to life, crafting unique voices for all that welcome you in to the world of gods and goddesses. She expertly wields tone, style, and cadence to illustrate the vast differences between life in Atlantis compared to Greece. Her delivery makes for a wonderful and immersive listening experience!

Just finished Spider's Awakening. Discovered this author at my local Comic Con. While it was such a pleasure meeting the author and her husband, the book was so good. The author was busy with someone else and so I got a chance to talk to the husband. He told me the books was about Greek gods and goddess's with myths and mythology and a hint of aliens. The description and the book held up and I can't wait for more.

Wow, this was an amazing read!!

The characters were phenomenal. I loved reading and getting to know Calista. She was such a strong character from her life experiences and I felt a connection with her.

The storyline was incredible. I truly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was a powerful read and it reeled me in and kept me entertained. I highly recommend this read!!
