From the first time Dante Bell saw Nadie, he knew that she was the one for him. There’s just one problem: there’s another in his life Dante’s waiting on, as well.

When Jace Goodwin, a bear shifter and Mediator, finally comes back to the human realm after years away, his first stop is Dante’s Circle, where he not only finds his dragon but also the woman they’ve both been waiting for.

Once secrets are told, and the sparks fly, Nadie’s new life becomes something she never thought possible. However, there’s another realm at play, and Jace and Nadie’s dragon will have to fight against the realms themselves to keep the two mates he’s wanted and waited eons for.

Normally I don't read menage books, but the cover was so pretty and there was a naughty dragon involved so I had to give it a go. Jace that boy sure knows how to lay some heavy stuff on Nadie "you know, I've never seen him as a dragon. I don't think any of us have." He grinned and stood, taking her hand. "He's careful about it. If you asked, though, I have a feeling he'd show you in a heartbeat." He's also so sweet and considerate where his mate is concerned, "Jace held back a curse at the thought it was him causing her hurt. Damn it. There was only one way for Nadie to find her paranormal, thereby relieving her pain, and that was to create a bond through mating." When Dante, Jace and Nadie are together it sure makes up for one naughty good time, "Dante was on her in a flash, and she gasped as, suddenly, she was on his lap and he was sitting where she'd been just a moment before. Jace had moved as well, sliding so he was thigh to thigh with Dante. The dragon had his hands on her face, the bear, his hand on her hip." Dante he's also considerate of Nadie which I think is really sweet and hot in a guy, "you're effing amazing, Nadie. I should have been telling you since the day I met you how much I want you. And I see your eyes on my c***. You want me to take out my piercing? It'll feel really effing good when we're making love, but since this is your first time, I don't want to have that as an added pressure." Jace is the really naughty one in this relationship, "I'll come down your throat next, baby. Now jump on so our dragon can get that a** ready." I loved these three and I enjoyed reading their story.

Differences are what make the world go around, because I obviously don't see what others do in this book. It had all the things I love in a story. It should have been a winner. This is the 1st of this series I've read, but I don't feel that was the problem. The author did a good job with the background etc... I thought the plot had so much potential. I loved the twist on the succubus mythology. I don't even know how to explain all I thought was off with this story. It was too formulaic, too predictable, too many villians/problems without enough understanding why it was such (we are told why but not shown). It may have helped if it was just the conclave or just the "family issues". Everything is just kind of glossed over or spoon fed. We are given nothing on Alexander other than he is old & thinks he's a God. Plus based on what Jace said earlier on Dragon fights the end is illogical no matter how pissed he is feeling. The sex wasn't bad, but I still found myself skimming through a lot of it. The one scene that did finally pull me into the story was the saddest & not until nearly the end. I wanted more of that connection throughout. I couldn't even hold onto that connection for long. It was like I was pushed right back out of the story as a participant who felt their pain into just being an observer of the "goings on".

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Bewitching Bella - Charity:
*Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review

How do I start this review?!?!?! *rubs hands together, grinning*

Ok I'm going to be honest I BEGGED FOR THIS BOOK!!! I think all Carrie Ann's readers did. Ever since I read book 1 in this series I wanted Dante's Story, I yearned for it, I needed to know his secrets, I needed to see his happily ever after. Carrie Ann DELIVERED AND THEN SOME!!!!

The premise to this series had me enticed and enthralled but with each new book I get pulled into unexpected ecstasy through it's pages and I'm always left begging for the next one. Tangled Innocence was the perfect storm of passion, innocence, seduction, and fight within its characters!!!!

What I love most about this series that I have yet to find in any other series is guessing what each "lightning struck" woman will become after finding her true half. I don't even try to guess any more and when its revealed in each book my jaw always drops. I also love how each book leads into the next one so smoothly. Its so enticing to get hints and peaks at where the next story.

I cant say enough good things about this book and this series over all, I'm hooked in the most alluring way and I LOVE IT!!

I've been looking forward to Dante's book since we first met him..... I love dragons and a dragon shifter is a particular favourite of mine!!!

One of the things that really draws me to this series is the uncertainty around what each of the 'lightening struck' will become... Nadie is no exception ~ and her new found paranormal species is very interesting!!

We've witnessed Nadie's mixed feeling and emotions towards Dante in the last few books and our favourite dragon hasn't made any moves to return her affections - finally in this book we see things moving forward for them - but Nadie, Jace and Dante have their work cut out to be together though I have to say, boy, it was worth it!

Tangled Innocence is action packed, filled with suspense, treachery and deceit... along with a lot of emotion and red hot passion as you'd expect when you have a bear and a dragon shifter and the one to complete them that they have been waiting years for!

If you haven't started this series I would thoroughly recommend you give it a try - and if you have already read the previous books I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this latest installment from Carrie Ann!!!

**One scene with the female dragons had me in fits of laughter.... wonder if you can guess what I found so funny?!?!

I was looking forward to this story. For three novels now readers have watched Nadie and Dante share looks, and tense moments. The looks turned into sniping arguments. The chemistry between the two characters was there and well set up. The build towards this relationship was slow and I was excited to read their romance.

In the beginning its obvious that Nadie is suffering. She knows Dante is her true half, which means that Dante knows too. Fed up with his constant rejection of her she is ready to leave. However her wave of pain always ease quickly when Dante is around. It doesn't take long for Dante to come clean and explain that Nadie and Dante are part of a triad and that he has been waiting for their third member, Jace, to come back (which he conveniently did the night Nadie decided she was done for good). This is the first instance in their story of Dante holding something back from Nadie.

After that the "romance" angle of the story devolves mostly to sex. It went from slow burn to burn the house down in 3.5 seconds. Nadie and Jace take some time to get to know more about each other but no moments that stand out when I think back to the story. Though I do find it frustrating how often Nadie has to remind the men that she is strong in her own right and to stop babying her.

However, the story amps up in other ways. Things are starting to come full circle. Dante is summoned by the very group who sent the lightning to the women in the first place. He is recruited to join them, an old established oligarchy that rule from afar and do nasty experiments on people (like the lightning). Dante buys himself some time with the help of the group's younger members and they all gear up for war. In the meantime Nadie is tentatively welcomed by her people.

In the end there is a battle in Dante's yard between the old and young. Dante's group comes out victorious but at the price of one of the lightning struck and the lives of others. The battle is decisive but the political fallout is not settled. I find it odd that with three books left in the series Ryan has chosen to already pitch her battle. I am concerned about how the other three books will go without this plot to hold them up.

I also want to note that once again the male's state their bi-sexuality while the female characters remain the same. Are all triads two men and one woman?

If you haven't started this series I would thoroughly recommend you give it a try but start with book one to get the most out of this series.
Have really been wanting to read Dante and Nadie’s story. Very intriguing to find out why there has been a hold up in them mating. A third is needed, the grizzly bear Jace.
Dante and Jace have known for 80 years they are mates but both wanted to wait for their third to appear. Unfortunately even though Nadie has been in the picture for two years, Jace has been uncontactable for that time in another realm.
Jace is another wonderful character added to this series.
These three really have a hard time in front of them as Conclave treachery rears its head and we find out why these women were lightning struck.
We also have a very sad death (I cried) and one of the women is seriously injured in the big battle. Her mate saves her life but at what cost, we will find out in their story.
One of the most interesting parts of this series is waiting to see what each of the lightning struck women will become. Nadie is no exception and her otherness is very interesting.
This book has so much going on, suspense, treachery, deceit and the mother from hell.
This must be my 4th or 5th time reading this series. I really enjoy the differences about this and the very unusual and likeable characters.
I own and have read and reviewed these books years ago, my reviews are missing.

This is Dante , Jake and Nadie's story . Nadie has known since the lightening who was her other half but nothing was done about it after deciding that enough was enough and she will not be coming back things changed once again because her car would not start and the mountain standing by her car scared the daylights out of her ! Dante is doing what he can while waiting for things to come together but he knows it is not enough . Jake is finally where he needs to be after being gone for years doing his job . Once the three get together and the truth comes out look out ! Nadie has one heck of a temper and is not afraid to let it fly ! The danger and challenges that faces this triad will have you so involved that you will not want to put it down ! Well written and recommended to everyone ! Awesome series !

most innocent becomes the Succubus

Dante has put off claiming Nadie, because their third was missing. Without the third she will not become her true self. Jace finally finished his assignment, but got one closer to Dante that he has to finish before they can complete the bond. A group of supernaturals who call themselves the Conclave wants Dante to join their ranks, but he has to go to training for 500 years. They also want to send Jace on another mission. There are those who want Nadie gone to weaken Dante. Will those who want them dead succeed? Will they lose those who chose to fight with them? Will more craziness insure? Come on in and find out.

Tangled love

Loved this story and the highs and lows that went with it.

At first I had a feeling Nadie was going to be a bit to Pollyanna for me. But thank goodness the author didn’t take the obvious direction.

Jace and Dante were definitely yummy and knew when to appropriately grovel for forgiveness from their mate when they needed to.

The story and battle that ensued with the conclave gave a much needed conflict to this paranormal romance. The intrigue was well written pulled the series forward.

Carrie Ann Ryan hits another home run with this fascinating and refreshing romance filled with unique paranormal characters that are devoted to their other halves, family and friends. These individuals are so realist and their problems are so overwhelming, that I couldn't help but share their concern for a future together. This storyline is filled with surprises and intense situations. So, sit back and let Carrie's world flow through your mind. It's a truly wonderful experience. Five Big Fat Stars!

Solid 4+ stars

Favorite of the series so far. There were a few typos that bugged me and I can't stand when the cover looks nothing like the character description (come on, where's Dante's hair, tats, and piercings??), but otherwise awesome book. This falls solidly in my "read again later" category. some typos, extra hot & spicy, fated fantasy poly romance w/ M/F/M & M/M, swords cross. Oh, and I'm not crazy about the MTA, however I just grazed past those little parts (no pun intended). Just a warning it's there.

A unique triad

A dragon (Dante), a bear (Jace) and a human (Nadie) struck by magical lightning until they mate. And then she became.... Nadia struggles with her past, the fact that she is mate to two males and learning how to master her new powers. As if that is not enough the Dragon Conclave is after them. A very suspenseful action packed read with sizzling hot moments between the mates.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!!
Tangled Innocence brings dragons and bear shifters into the mix with plenty of steamy tension. Nadie’s arc is all about discovering her power and finding love in an unconventional trio. Dante and Jace both bring very different energies, making the romance layered and dynamic. There’s plenty of magical politics and tension, but the focus on fate and belonging keeps things grounded.

I have had these books for I do not know how long and finally decided to read them. Wow, what I was missing out on. They are entertaining and very easy to read. At times I felt like I was there with the characters trying to help in situations. Laughing was also a part of my reaction. Great paranormal love stories.

Tangled Innocence

Finally Nadine and Dante have their story. I loved these two from book one. Bring in a bear and the story just got better. There is so much in this book. Family, friendship, so much love. It also has some not so good times. This book had it all. I can't wait to find out what happens with Levi and Faith!

Great story

I really loved watching these three come together and form their triad. We finally get to see Dante and Nadine come together and see why Dante held back, they have a third mate, Jace, who was unreachable. I love the twists and turns in the story and can’t wait for the next one.

enjoyable

I really enjoyed this book, it is the final one in the series that I’m reading not because it wasn’t good, just too expensive for me to continue for a series that is good but not great.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I would have liked to "feel" more for the characters and their relationship. It felt like Dante and Jace were the real couple in the triad. This book was bittersweet for me though.

Finally we get the Dragon!

It was a alluded too in previous book that another triad was coming. But what a triad! This was another step in the paranormal war. The answer to how the lightning strike came about was answered. I love any book Carrie Ann Ryan writes. Never read one I didn't like.
