I did the impossible.

I read between the lines and I accidentally summoned the King Of Beasts.

Right from the ink within the pages.

I had a fantasy. A dream. I wished for him and he came true.

He thinks I’m a witch. A B!tch who stole him from his true mate.

If only he knew. Nothing in his world is as it seems.

He's mine now.

The world spins into chaos. Nothing is certain.

Well, ma

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Trigger Warnings: gory violence, very maniacal descriptions of sexual play, fibromyalgia mentioned, death, depression mentioned, bestiality.

This novel definitely had an interesting concept: a book character coming to life, trying to murder you due to changed thoughts, and then loving you later on...defying all odds of reality and fiction.

I personally enjoyed that concept, but my fun was ruined by a couple of things.

The book could've been s

What an amazing, and original story! Adisen is such a relatable FMC,from her desire to escape her monotonous, predictable life, right down to her physical pain, and health struggles. She's who I felt most connected with in this book, and I believe many fellow readers will feel the same. Elijah is sexy and untamed, and will take you on a lustful journey as these two engage in their battle of wills and desire. This is PNR/Fantasy at its finest.

I received a arc copy of don’t read between the lines which is a paranormal romance written by Emmaleigh Wynters, we start the story with the MFC Adisen.
Adisen is just like most of us she always loves a good book, she would give up reality any day of the week to escape in to her current reading book (I’m pretty sure most of us would absolutely love to escape in to our favourite books too) her current read is “the accursed” which is about Elijah the horde king - who is Adisens current book boyfri

I devoured this book! I've read most of Emmaleighs books, and this is by far my favorite! I loved Stitch, but there's just something about crossing the lines between fiction and reality that really pull at my heartstrings.

The relationship between Elijah and Adisen is fantastic. I loved that they started out as semi enemies and that there was tension between the two from the start. I love some well played out tension. Their chemistry was intense and I loved how they both helped each other both e

Don’t Read Between the Lines is a stunningly crafted, beautifully written story unlike anything else out there. Adisen is a strong FMC that is written in such a way that you feel strongly connected to her and empathize with her and her struggles. Elijah has a character arc through this book that makes you fall in lust and ultimately, in love with him. It’s not always an easy path as these two navigate their story and finding their HEA. I could not put this down.

This book is one hands down one of the most beautiful things I have ever read! Don’t read between the lines has ended up being a very personal book to me and resonated more deeply due to the circumstances within the story. It’s a beautiful love story with a paranormal/urban fantasy twist that pulls you into a world that many book lovers can identify with, Adisen is a not your average “perfect” fmc but is a true warrior in so many ways and that makes her a unique kind of badass! As for Elijah, hi ...more

Wow!! Just wow!! Emmaleigh just did an amazing job!!

The book really gets you wishing you can bring characters to life. Her world building, characters, action everything was in point. Her writing is phenomenal and everything.

This standalone does bring out a lot of mental health and heath issues but doesn’t deviate from the story. Absolutely love it. You will fall in love with the characters and laugh so much too!!

Highly recommend this book if you love dark PNR 🖤🖤

I just loved this story! How many times have I read a book and thought, “Geez, I wish this guy were real!” Well, Adisen made that happen and I’m so jealous of the adventure she had with Elijah! Emmaleigh set up an amazing world with magic, excitement, and fantasy! I can’t keep writing without spoiling the entire thing, which is how excited I was to read it! But I will definitely remember this story for a long time ❤️

This book was written as a story within a story. The fmc, Adisen, is someone who loves reading. There comes a moment after reading where she calls out to the character of the book while coming undone. Then all of a sudden there he is with her. Elijah, the Horde's King from the novel she's reading. I really liked the concept of this standalone. I just didn't find myself as invested in it. I did enjoy it and feel it's a solid **** for me. ...more

This book was everything. The world building was done so well. The story is very unique but was easy to follow and imagine. There's so much depth to the characters and great emotional rollercoasters. Highly recommend. Loved it!! ...more

I received an ARC copy of this book.

I absolutely loved Adisen and Elijah’s story. Who doesn’t want their book friend to jump out of the pages of their favorite book and become real?

This was Emmaleigh’s first paranormal romance and it was really good! The world building and character development was everything. The way that she brings up the mental health and health issues but doesn’t deviate from the story line was excellent. This was some of her best work!

What will draw you in first will be the eye catching cover, but what will make you stay will be the pleasing story. I will say this this book does have some triggers in it that some people but not like;the story itself with the details and the writing style will keep your eyes stuck to the story.

Emmaleigh has done it. I haven’t read any story like this ever and it was amazingly done. Adisen is a reader and she plucks her book boyfriend right out of the book she’s currently reading! Adisen is everything I love about a FMC. She’s vulnerable, real, funny, determined, and full of unrealized badassery. I want you to imagine you’re reading a PNR title and you summon the MMC. How would you expect them to react? Welp that’s exactly how Elijah is in this book. It was so well thought out and I lo ...more

Oh my god. I love everything Emmaleigh has written but this is hands down the most beautifully written book I have read in a long time. It was literally like reading my whole life and how I feel about my health condition which is similar to the Fibromyalgia that Adisen has. I also read to escape like she does and imagine I’m a badass woman who doesn’t let anything beat her and become the heroine of the story who rescues her equally badass man. I can’t even begin to express how good this book is.

Adisen loves a good nook, so when she gets her hands on one called The Accursed she's excited to read it. But what ends up happening is she summons The King of Beasts, Elijah. He believes she's a witch who has stolen her from his true mate, but he'll learn soon enough that this world isn't the same and nothing is as it seems.

I will continue to preach that this author will never write a bad book. Everything I have ever read of theirs has been five stars (or more if I could give it!). Perfect wri

Do Read These Lines

Every one of them. There’s a difference between knowing and accepting something is real and we see the struggle within this novel due to a seriously tricky will magic system out of the female lead. In all honesty I’m a bit jealous that I can’t do the same thing for myself. There were a few sections that were a little slow but the build was part of the excitement of seeing everyone work out their ‘issues’ so to speak. The writing was first person, present tense. While I’ve not

This is a fantasy romance where the heroine wishes into existence a hero from one of her favorite romance novels. I wanted to connect with this book more than I did, it had a very interesting premise and I wanted to really love it. I just couldn't fully immerse into the story as I'd hoped. Adisen was a mixed bag for me, she was vulnerable but sometimes too abrasive. Elijah was powerful and strong but I didn't understand their romance. I think maybe because the majority of it took place in the hu ...more

A book lovers dream come true
How many times have you read a book and just imagined that your dream character could come to life or that you could be part of the story line? Well Emmaleigh has just taken that concept to a whole different level with a beautifully written story. The FMC is strong but I liked that her vulnerabilities are shown it makes you connect and feel like you can relate to her in a way. Elijah is a unforgettable character that will have you gripped and wanting more alot more.

From the very beginning the FMC just absolutely spoke to me, I could relate to her so much it was truly refreshing.
This book is definitely different to anything else I've read , and I'm sure most of us readers have wondered exactly what would happen if our favourite characters in books came to life for us!
Throughout, the book is just so beautifully worded, unfortunately in some points I did find the wording a bit too much for me to follow meaning I'd get a little lost or confused as

I have never read a book like this before!! Such a cool plot line. At first I was like "Can I just be this FMC please??"
Adisen is a book girl and her favorite author is Amelia Hutchins, so I already know we'd be best friends. But she did what we all wish we could do.... Make her book boyfriend a reality! She reads a book where the hoard king, Elijah, is her current dream man and he leaves his book.
This book has awesome world building and character development. The FMC has many layers to her, so

Unusual fantasy, a storylinr I haven't come across before so this really intrigued me. I got it on the day it was realised and after a few chapters I have to reach out to the author because they were so many typos and errors. To her credit she updated the files straightaway, however, I still spotted typos throughout the rest of the book...

Anyway, that aside, like I said, I liked the concept but not sure it was executed as well as I'd hoped. I thoight the story dragged on, there is constant remin

This story is paranormal, and a first for this author. I really appreciated the struggles Adisen goes through in this book, she’s not perfect and it makes her more relatable. How many of us dream of book boyfriends? What would you do if the darkest, demon-possessed man of your dreams appeared in your world? Enemies to lovers, wicked opponents stand in their way, watch them fight together, learn together and grow together.

This book is a paranormal romance with spice, action and suspense. Emmaleigh has created a whole new world and characters you want to explore more. She describes each scene so thoroughly you cant help but imagine your right there with the characters. This is a standalone HEA book that I read in one sitting. Hopefully Maria gets her adventure in this new world next!

The story pulls you in and never lets go. It was an amazing story from an author who knows how to get you immersed in her stories.

This was absolutely enthralling the way you get to know Adisen and Elijah, and you realize that not every story will turn out as it is originally written!

Great book! Would absolutely read again!

I loved the story line I felt it was original Adisen is a fibro sufferer who loves to read to escape her painful life. She is reading a book when the main male in the book she's reading appears naked before her.
Lots of metaphors and internal monologue beautiful character arcs. You can really relate to wanting to bring a book boyfriend to life and join him on his adventures
