the school of extraordinary lovers may sound like something familiar and overdone at first glance, but it’s one of the most unique and addicting fics i’ve ever read, with the most deliciously frustrating slow burn ever and the pay off is more than worth it) and i have never enjoyed the supernatural/magic genre this much in my life. and their writing has me in awe as always.

I loved this one so much, I read this within 2-3 days and I genuinely enjoyed it so much. The side plot was so good and I loved that it had more than just your typical 'love' story. I loved seeing Harry and Louis fall in love again and try to resist and try to make it seem like they didn't care when they obviously did. I loved the writing style so much and I am so in love with this author. It was just impossible to put this one day, there was not a single 'filler' chapter or dull moment which is such a strength and just overall it's a new favorite fic. Their love story is just so sweet and I will absolutely be reading this again some time.

Personal Summary:
Louis is a vampire and Harry is a witch. They use to be best friends-ish/first loves and play the violin and piano together. Louis comes from a prestigious family that sends him away for 6 years. The book starts with Louis coming back after 6 years during their last year of magic school, which is like Hogwarts vibes. It's childhood friends to enemies to lovers. Harry's family has a curse where the male family members in their family die on their 30th birthday and he's trying to break it. Harry and Louis are pressed to play their instruments together after being put into the same class, so they spend more time together and slowly get closer again. They get together, are stupid, get together, are stupid again, and it's very cute and jealous Harry and jealous Louis are so adorable. They work through their shit slowly, they slowly accept their sexualities, Louis has an arranged marriage and there's that plot line, they also have the whole "You went away and never wrote to me" discourse, and it's just a really nice story to see them get together and then fuck up and repeat that for a bit. Idiots to lovers >>. Eventually, they fix things a bit, they deal with the fact that Harry might die in the future, and Louis breaks off his engagement after Harry tells everyone that he loves him at the dinner rehearsal party. The courage from this breaks the curse and Harry and his family is officially free from the curse. Harry and Louis get together and work things out, Harry gets immortality and him and Louis have a happy ending with kids and each other.

non mi è piaciuta più di molto e ne sono veramente dispiaciuta😭
mi aspettavo fosse una sorta di y&b (il mio libro preferito) poiché anche questa fic è ambientata in un college, ma la parte del college, nonché l’unica orte che mi è piaciuta, è durata veramente poco, circa 300 pagine su più di 800.
In alcune parti ho fatto molta fatica a comprendere certe situazioni per esempio la maledizione che viene rotta??? È successo veramente così in fretta dopo tutto quello che è stato detto a proposito.

definitely a great one to start my year, it goes a little rushed and weak at the last 3 chapters but it's ok to me, the storyline was great and sometimes i wanted to kick in the ass to Harry bc he was too idiot to be true, made me cry and horny a the same level, so I guess it did well also the writing is a chef kiss, congrats on that!!!!

Me encantó. El universo donde esta planteado es una mezcla increíble y super interesante, necesito mas de esto. Y la forma en la que la relación va mutando siendo una especie de enemies to lover no convencional me gusto mucho.

OH MY GOD INCREDIBLE! I love Sel so much, I love stylinsoncity's writing and I think this idea is brilliant! I like Harry of this ff, but LOUIS OF SEL>>>>> is fantastic and above all after reading the epilogue you understand how much he loves Harry and obviously how much Harry loves him back. Their love is beautiful and this story has the supernatural city of Ravenoir as a backdrop which is magnificent. I also liked the characters and story; I think it's the most beautiful ff of stylinsoncity and one of the most beautiful I've ever read. I recommend it especially as an October reading (perfect time and lots of vibes).

por el amor de jesucristo la manera en la que me volví completamente desquiciada con esta fic,,, pa estudiarlo. louis vampiro es mi imperio romano y simplemente adoro a los larros x y para siempre. me parece que la historia se resuelve demasiado rápido pero creo que está súper bien y me alegro de que no la palme absolutamente ninguno de los dos al final porque estoy ya TRAUMATIZADA
