-First things first, I would like to thank Shreya Goswamy, the poetess herself for creating such a beautiful collection of love poetry and giving me the opportunity to read and review it.
-The book cover is really pretty (to start with) and very meaningful (syncs perfectly with the title).
-As you turn over the pages, you will simply get a very sweet, loving, and peaceful vibe. And why not? The book is so well-crafted overall.
-Added perks? It has bit-sized love poetries which absolutely won’t exhaust your energy, even if you’re new to this genre and poetries in general.
-The entire book is very thoughtfully compartmentalized, with each one of them spreading and redefining love in the purest and raw form. Each of these parts starts with a beautiful line drawing which adds more to the beauty of this book. Also, how can I not mention the cute gesture at the end of each poem? Each of them ends with three cute heart signs, I just found that too cute and loving!!
-Now coming to the writing, well I must admit that I totally loved it! I could have easily completed reading this book in one sitting, but I preferred not to. Guess what? Good things take time to be absorbed. The intricate detailing, the perfect pitch when it came to using fancy words, and the metaphors all added to the beauty of this book.
-I remember I was having difficulty sleeping a few days back and then I started reading this. Sleep could no longer stay away from me, it’s that soothing.
-The poems very beautifully bring out the true essence of love, intimacy, faith, and the little and big things that matter in love and companionship.
-So, if you’re still stuck with the confusion of what to gift (preferably a book, maybe?) to your partner or friend this Valentine’s Day, undoubtedly pick this up!
-And for you, well prepare a cup of tea or coffee and the rest you know….

Well I'm not a poetry person but this book made me realise that I'm really missing something poetic and blissfulness in my life.
As the name of the book suggests, themes in this book is about love, peace, desires and heartbeat specifically related to the third person whom we admire and love.
Many authors use high vocabulary to write poems or express their feelings through them but this book contains poems written with basic vocabulary, which I liked a lot as what simple words can do to the reader, high standard vocabulary can't.
Beginners like me who are new to the poetry genres can opt for this book for sure as it's beautifully written and you'll fell in love with the essence and themes of this book.

I rarely read poetry but this was just so sweet and beautiful. The book is divided into sections and each one starts with lovely illustrations. Anyone who is new to the genre can easily understand this. A great book ❤️

- The book cover is so beautiful, meaningful and heart warming.
- This is a collection of poetry based on love and desire. It has 7 parts and each part is beautifully named like " you are my heartbeat", "you are my desire" etc.
- This all 7 parts described sweet mornings, clichéd love, simple love, wet romance, space of a heart beat, satisfaction, fierce love, love language etc beautifully with a sweet rhyme which is very heart-warming.
- Each of these 7 parts of the book has been started with beautiful quote and a beautiful line drawing.
- This book contains poems written with basic vocabulary that's why I think the reader will feel the poems and kove much more better than other love poetries which have high vocabulary.
- This book is beginner's friendly. All the poems are so beautiful and meaningful and written with so much love. This love one can feel when she/he will go through the poems.

Space of a Heartbeat is a collection of bite-sized love poetry. The book is divided into seven sections, each containing 8+ bite-sized poems. Despite there short length, each poem is written with lots of love and feelings. The words portray raw emotions. All the poems are very sweet and heartwarming.
The writing style is simple and easy to read, any reader can enjoy it. It's just needs a bit editing, the small I's were distracting me from the poems.
Some of my favourites from this book are "Space of a Heartbeat", "Elixir", "Dreams", "May- flowers", "Magic Lamp", and "Lifeboat". I also really liked the illustrations in the book.
If you are looking for sweet and simple love poems that will warm your heart, go for this book.

I finally got around to reading, Space of a Hearbeat by Shreya Goswami. Capturing contemporary romance, the poet has divided the books into seven sections, each capturing a new flavour of heart.
It is a beautiful debut by the poet. Far away from the high-arching love songs that are as glorious as they are unrelatable, these poems try to present love by breaking it down to its simplest form- the intimacy with a loved one.
I had only one criticism, if any. The book does not move past the positive feelings evoked by love. The darker shades are left untouched but it’s the poet’s first book which promises a great many things in future.
My personal favourite was Euphoria.

I will like to start with the fact the I love poetry and this book was an amazing way to showcase poetry. I would like to really appreciate Shreya Goswamy for actually going forward and writing this book. This book showcases amazing romantic poetry. I really love it and would recommend it to.

I don't read a lot of poetry but this book is beautifully wrote and full of love. I particularly enjoyed how each chapter had a different love theme and had little illustrations at the start. Sherya has a very natural and talented ability, thank you for sharing the love. Highly recommended read. ❤

One of the best poetry books I've ever read!
Along with the modern form of writing, there is a touch of tenderness. All the poems are filled with warmth. Loved this book! Highly recommend the book to any living soul who wants to dive into the world of love💖
