Can I give this book a million stars? Right now I am at a loss for wards but I do know that this book was phenomenal. Once this book hit my kindle I devoured all the words. It was filled with mystery, suspense love and family.

Micah and Raelynn were fire. They had a connection like no other and the chemistry lit up my kindle. I loved the sweet and sexy side of these two as they found their place with each other.

I am sad. Sad that this series is over. But I’m also happy. Happy that Micah found his happily ever after. Now it is complete. This series has captivated me from the beginning and I was ecstatic when Leslie decided to continue it after a long break from the first two books.

I hope in the future Leslie decides to dive into the paranormal world once again because her words were exceptional from the first and now to the last book.

While I really enjoyed Micah & Rae’s story, I didn’t love the way this book ended the series. I thought this was supposed to be the Royal’s series & we still have two Royal’s left that we didn’t get stories from. Granted we kind of saw half of one of them. It just didn’t feel like the end.

But Micah & Rae have a very interesting story. More huge surprises for the Royal Pack. I love that their world is evolving & big things are happening & coming out of the woodwork. It made for such an interesting & intense story. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next. I’m happy Micah finally got his happily ever after & with the perfect mate in my opinion. It was a great read, even though the ending left me wanting more.

This is the 8th and final book in this incredible series from LP Dover and I am sad to see it go but what a way to finish.

We are finally getting Micah's story and it was totally worth the wait.! He is looking for the missing Royal wolves that separated from him and his pack. After losing contact with them he wants to find them and make sure they were safe. He had a connection with Raelynn when they were 18 and before their pack was ripped apart and they had to separate but he never expected that she would be his mate and the mating signs would hit him like a wrecking ball.

As with all these books it is filled with intense chemistry, action, suspense, danger, family, loyalty mixed with love making this a book you will NOT want to put down until finished.

I can't wait to see what this author brings us next.

A stunning conclusion to this series! We have seen Micah all along. Ever the protector. A good Brother. A Packmate. His mission is to find the remaining Royal wolves and make sure they are safe. But when he finds them, something is not right and he knows without a doubt that Rae is his mate only she is attached to another.

Lots of action and darkness brewing in this story. Page turning events at one point. I am so happy for Micah and Rae. I loved seeing the whole pack come together. Loved getting a ll the final pieces of the history put into place. Now what I would really love is if this was not the end. I want to follow this group forever!

Maybe a quick catch up novella inthe future? A Next Gen book? Loved the whole series!

I have loved this series from the beginning and I’m sad that this is the last. I loved Micah and Raelynn, they had so much chemistry and I just loved them together. The book was so well written I really didn’t want it to end.

The tears have finally stopped. There were tears of joy for a magnificent ending to the Royal Shifters series. There were tears of sadness for the end of the Royal Shifter series. I was late in reading the series, just starting it last year. I am amazed with how many books she has added in such a short time. They are packed with so much drama and suspense. I can't say no to romance. The author fills the pages with romance and love.

Some series slowly, quietly reach completion, but not Royal Shifters. This series goes out what a really loud bang. The Earth shook. The wolves howled. In Awakened by the Moon, we finally get Micah's story. It was a complete shocker. Congratulations L.P. Dover. My mind has been completely blown.

Micah has been on a mission to find the last of the Royal Arctics. He has been driving around the United States hoping to find them. A stop in California finally has him heading in the right direction.

But what will he find when he reaches Stark, Dany and Raelynn? What secrets will be exposed? I did not see it coming. I didn't have a clue. I must confess that I did enjoy every nerve wracking moment. The mouth dropping moments were sublime.

I've read and loved all the books in this series, so I was really excited and sad about this book releasing! I was really happy because I love this series, but I was sad because I knew that it was going to be the final book in this series! I received an ARC of this book and I started reading it as soon as I could! After reading, I can say that I enjoyed this book! The plot developed at the perfect pace and it kept me intrigued and wanting to read on and find out what was going to happen next! The plot was filled with romance, which I loved, and it allowed for quite a few steamy scenes between the two main characters! There was also some action and suspense in the plot, which added to it and made me enjoy it more! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Raelynn was the main female character, and I felt for her in this book because she did go through a lot of betrayal from someone she trusted and she wasn't really sure how to deal with all the changes in her life! She did find where she belonged though! Raelynn also had a really interesting job and she was damn good at it! Micah was the main male character and main love interest of Raelynn! I loved Micah in this book! He had a successful business and he worked hard! It was also easy to see how Micah felt about Raelynn and he wanted her to be happy and safe! He was very protective of her as well and it was easy to see how much he loved her! I loved that this book was written from both Raelynn and Micah's point of views! I was obviously expecting it to be before I started reading because the other books were all written from dual point of view and the synopsis gives the impression that it's going to be! I loved that it was written from both characters point of views because it helped me connect more with Raelynn and Micah and see how they really felt about each other! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot as well, which helped as the characters did go through some situations by themselves! I'm really sad that this book is the final book in this series! I've loved all the characters, so I'm sad to say goodbye to them! The ending was left at the perfect place though! I now can't wait to find out more about this author's next release! I've loved all the books I've read from her, so I can't wait to find out more about her next release! The cover for this book is also seriously hot! I love how well it suits the other covers in the series and it would draw me to the book if I didn't already know the author's name! The cover model is also the perfect Micah! Big thank you to L.P. I’ve read every book in the series. I was sooo looking forward to this story as it played out in the background of the other seven books. I have to say this is my least favourite of them all.

It started off as I expected, with angst, suspicion and a bit of magic in play and immediately I thought, yeah this is going to be good. So, I kept reading and yes there was mystery and some darkness that I expected that there would be some serious heavy lifting on the part of the royal pack to help out. But I have to say maybe it’s because I have read the other 7 books that I didn’t enjoy this one because a good portion of the book was spent retelling/summarising those story. And I didn’t care for that.

The book felt like it was written in two parts. The first part had some mystery there and to be honest a bit of contraction with the previous books. All along nothing and noone was as powerful as the royal pack, but as it turns out, AFTER 7 BOOKS, that’s not the case anymore



Then by 50% mark that mystery was solved. After that, not much happened to be honest. It was mundane, “I love you very quickly, and I love you very hard” soppy moments. Somehow the author managed to write a story where nothing else happened, yet what did happen was rushed.



I wanted more drama. I expected more fight from a story that had been brewing through 7 books. I felt a bit robbed. To have gone through all those books with Micah to have such an anticlimactic ending. For what has been a really enjoyable series, the last book just didn’t do it. but hey, other people got a 5* read.

It seems like Awakened by the Moon is the last book in this amazing series, and frankly, I'm not ready to say goodbye at all. I don't read shifter romance for whatever reason, but since this author is an automatic one click for me, I didn't even pay attention to what her paranormal series was about, and thank goodness that I didn't because I would have missed out on so much goodness that's for sure. This is Micah's story, who has finally tracked down the missing royals, and the woman who seems to be fated as his mate, but there's one problem, she's about to go through a mating with another alpha so you already know that this story has quite a few complications. Soren is that alpha, and Micah knows there's more than meets the eye when it comes to Soren, but will he be able to get Raelynn to see that for herself?! I mean the chemistry these two have is intense & flew out of my kindle, but it's a bit on the dangerous side for them to end up together as it stands LOL! I LOVED this book as much or maybe even more than the previous books, so I refuse to face the fact that it could all be over! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

L.P. Dover has managed to impress me yet again with Awakened by the Moon. As with the other titles in the Royal Shifter series, this book was beautifully written and kept me on the edge of my seat. The book has an interesting plot and engaging characters, some of which were introduced in previous titles.

Awakened by the Moon focuses on Micah Lyall as he searches for the missing royals. His search brings him to South Dakota, where he meets Raelynn. He is surprised to find that the mating sign point to her as his fated mate. However, he runs into complications when he finds that she is intended for another.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of this trope. I am not usually a huge fan of ongoing series; however, each book focuses on a new couple, which keeps things fresh. I have found that while it’s not necessary to read the previous titles in this series before reading this book, doing so will add additional context to the stories and characters since many of the storylines overlap.

I've invested so much into this series that I didn't want this book to be over. I wasn't quite ready to close the cover on the Royal Shifters and all their magic, suspense and steam.

I was pleased that Micah got his happy ending. He has been ever present and supportive through the series and once Faith was mated he felt like he'd lost his purpose. His search for the remaining Royals led him to his mate and an action packed ending putting dark against light and good versus evil. I loved the pack standing together for a final showdown. I kinda think these wolf shifters have earned some peace and quiet after the battles they have all fought.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable end to the Royal Shifter series and we got to see all our favourite shifters through the course of the story. It felt like a fitting end.

We see Micah searching for the three Royal wolves that are on the run, when he thinks he close the evade him. Raelynn feels like she is home but there is something holding her back, she has met her mate but he doesn't quite feel right. When Micah finds them and see's Raelynn after all these years the feelings morph into great things and the pull is strong. Raelynn is so confused how does she have two mates. This book is suspenseful in the best way as it keeps up guess what's going to happen. The story is interesting and different and keeps you invested right from the beginning. What a wild ride with great character depth and well written. The twists were exceptional and done well. Micah and Raelynn's love is shown through out the book.

We follow Micah in this story. What is he doing? Why does he visit Chase and Kara? What does Micah do when he hears Kara's story? Who is Raelynn? Who are Allison, Soren, Stark, and Dany? How do they know one another if at all? What happens when Micah gets to the cabin and goes for a run? What happens when Rae goes to visit Micah? What happens when Rae talks to Bailey? What do we learn about what Soren has done? What is the outcome when it comes to light? Getting to look into Raelynn's thoughts and feelings about her profession was neat. Where does Micah take Rae in California? Why do Soren and the others want Rae, Dany, Stark, and possibly Micah? The playful banter between Micah and Rae is so much fun near the end! I am sad to have read that this was the end to the series. I had hoped to see more of Dany and Stark. Loved the read!

Awakened by the Moon by L.P. Dover is book eight in the Royal Shiftres Series. The books are best read in order, there are lots of cross-overs and cliffies.
The story brings the reader right in the middle of the story, fast paced and action packed. This story grabs you and doesn't let go from start til the last page.
Micah is looking for the last three single royals. He's traveling for months when he gets a clue.
Raelynn works as PI together with Dany and she's about to commit to another male. And then comes Micah and swipes her off her feet. They're magic together. Just like the excellent writing, the story is unputdownable, intriguing, wants you to get the story about the last two single ones too. 4,5 stars.

I just love this entire series!! I have been hooked since book one and each new just adds to the enjoyment. I also have to add that I am uber sad this series is over. This world has been fabulous and I would absolutely love to have some more books set in this world even if it is a spin off series. Until then we get to follow Rae and Micah as their chemistry explodes off of the page though they have some things to handle before they can totally give into it. Creates a fabulous send off for this group as it all plays out. A total must read series for fans of paranormal fated mates romance. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

If you’re into shifters, (how can you not?!)
Raelynn has been trying to keep a low profile and hide, but when something happens she’s been trying to avoid for what feels like centuries everything changes! Micah has been tracking the lost royals for what seems like a long time, but it’s almost like there is something he just isn’t getting, something just out of reach. When visiting a brother and his new soon to be mate, he finally catches a break.
I’m not one to give spoilers, but this was a great read! The plot twists, the tension build up, the story telling was all so good! This is my first book read by this author, and I will defiantly be reading more of the series! I will say I do hope this isn’t the last book in the series, from other responses it seems as though there are some characters that could use a story, perhaps a novella of their one is in the works ;)

This is the eighth and final book in this incredible series, Micah can sense an element of danger hanging over the pack, and his mating sign is pointing him in Raelynn’s direction. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written emotionally charged story, which has drama, action, danger, suspense, intrigue, mystery, family, surprises, romance, and love, which leads to an intense and riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

What an ending to an amazing series!! This series is what got me back into reading last year and I will be forever grateful to LP Dover for that. This series has been so enjoyable as a whole but this last book reminded me of why I’ve loved it so much. A little bit of mystery, some fated mates, history of the royals and of course lots of steam. I loved that we got even more backstory with the other packs and what happened way back when when the royals split up. I am sad to see this series come to an end but excited to see what LP Dover comes out with next.

Awakened by the Moon is the final book in the Royal Shifters series and wow! What a way to end an incredible series!

We finally get Micah Lyall’s story and man, what an intriguing book this was!

Micah has been out searching for the last three remaining Royal for months and when he finally tracks them down he couldn’t be happier. Especially when he sees Raelynn again! Raelynn and Micah have a past and he once thought that they could be mates until the Royals were attacked.

Now, Micah finds Raelynn and she’s soon to be mated with another alpha. Micah doesn’t exactly trust this alpha of the Black Hills pack, Soren. There’s just something about him that doesn’t quite add up.

Through incredible twists and turns, Raelynn and Micah, fight their way to be together just as they always should be. The plot twists in this book were amazing and definitely made this book exceptional.

I truly love L.P. Dover’s writing and can’t wait to read her next series!

I found L.P. Dover via this series and I'm so glad!

What a wonderful, paranormal romance series!

I have enjoyed curling up and reading about these amazing characters!

I have hoped for good things for the mains for a long time, and I wasn't really sure the author was going to give the mains an HEA! I really had to find out!

Plenty of action and swoon-worthy moments! I may just have to go back and start from the beginning!

This is the final book in the Royal Shifters series. These have all been great reads.
I do wish I would have known about the other stories that L.P. let us know about in the author's notes at the end. I did feel like I was missing some pieces.
This is Micah and Raelynn's story.
We learn a lot in this story. There are some surprises too!
I don't want to say more and give anything away, but this is a great read.

Some twists and turns to this story kept me reading to see how Micah and Raelynn would figure it out. With magic and danger surrounding her, Raelynn worked to accept what was in front of her. Micah was so protective and as patient as a shifter who found his mate could be. I also enjoyed the support and love from the secondary characters throughout. I recommend this story.

Micah and Rae's book was fantastic. I devoured it in three hours and trust me it was worth the lack of sleep. Torn between two alphas who are both her mates, it's up to Rae to follow her heart.
I would have liked to see more on the Dark Luna and the Great Luna if it were possible and their rivarly. Also I would have liked to see more of the red wolves but overall it was a fantastic series. I really hope to see more shifter books by this author in the future.

Phenomenal story

I’m absolutely loved every single word. This is by far my favorite out of the series. Micah has always been my favorite. Learning about the Great Luna more and the other half to it wow just wow. I was so happy when she bestowed her gift on Micah. Fabulous ending to a great series.
