I was loving this book even with the grammatical errors until Richard came back on the scene. I just felt it got a little over dramatic at that point. It cost the book a star, but I still enjoyed it. I think, as a rule, Fel Fern writes wonderful stories. She does need a better editor. I see the same mistake over and over in every book. She constantly uses a subject pronoun in the predicate part of the sentence.

Problematic

I really enjoyed the start of this new series. These books usually hit just the right note: not too much angst, interesting storyline and great alphas and omegas.

Billy, running from his abusive alpha, goes home to Moon Burrow. There, he reconnects with Gunn, older brother to his best friend. I didn’t love the wishy-washy nature of Gunn initially. He seemed to push Billy away only to pull him back the next day. I understood Billy’s confusion. For his part, Billy was just looking for someone to love him. He was sweet and fierce, extra protective of his unborn child. Overall, I really enjoyed their relationship and how it progressed.

My main issues came with editing on this one. Missing or incorrect words, misspelled words and even name swaps. It was very distracting while trying to stay immersed in the story.

Because I like these stories so much, I’ll keep up with the series, I’m just hoping the same editing issues don’t plague the rest of the series.

Good storyline but so many errors ruins reading experience

I am so sick of mentioning this in my reviews of Fel's books but she really needs to get her act together. Every book has lots of typos, missed words, wrong tenses and glaring errors (e.g. Billy is twenty three, left Moon Burrow after he finished school, then returned home after a decade away, so he was a child prodigy who graduated at thirteen?). Fel should take a long hard look at her writing and realise that she needs to think about the reader's experience. She has great ideas for storylines and has created a good world in Moon Burrow, peopled with interconnected characters and packs, and there is so much potential there but it is all for naught if readers are constantly thrown out of what should be an immersive experience. Please Fel, I'm begging you, use an editor and a proofreader.
Rant aside, the blurb tells you everything you need to know about why Billy came home and about Gunn's past, as well as their unfolding present with a massive cloud hanging over Billy's head. The main action came towards the end and was hugely satisfying, but there were also instances that brought danger to Billy and Gunn with the ongoing battle to keep rogue shifters at bay from Coven lands.
The story was good and I liked Gunn and Billy, and Diesel and Wyatt (Gunn's brothers) too. It was especially nice to see Gunn's wolf and Billy's squirrel interact (something we didn't see with Lee's wolf and Caden's bunny) because Gunn couldn't have been any gentler with him or more protective. I would give the story maybe four stars and will continue to read because I'm hooked on the Moon Burrow world, but I can't keep condoning all the completely avoidable errors so two stars it is.

DNF AT 20% Hard pass for me

I would think, what with so many negative reviews from so many people about the grammar, spelling, etc in EVERY past book I have tried to read from this author - that a decent editor or proofreader would have been brought onboard to clean up the books before they were released for reading.
That has evidently not happened.
The blurb for this book sounded interesting, so I was willing to give it a chance.
I gave up after the 2nd chapter, as every page had misspelled words, missing words, disjointed sentences....
I felt like I was correcting and rewriting this book in my head as I tried to read along, just to make sense out of it.
This was a hard pass for me.

Good

Good story. I'm pretty sure I've read others in this fictional town of moon burrow before, not that I remember, it's been a while. I could absolutely see where the story was heading, but even that was okay. More concerning was the number of small errors I noticed in the book, which I found distracting.

KU own, paranormal, book in a series, mpreg, mates, Brothers best friend, Alpha Omega, bear and squirrel shifters, small town, auto mechanic.

Could not put this put down
Wow I got totally pulled into this book and just could not put it down and read it through the night. There was just something that keeps me hooked because i knew what was gonna happen and it kind of scared me for Billy.
Omega Billy finally had a reason to risk leaving his now ex-boyfriend Richard. Richard was wonderful at the beginning of their relationship but he soon turned into an abuser. Using Billy as a punchbag taking over his life isolating him. But now Billy found himself pregnant and he didn’t want that for his child so as soon as Richard left for work that day he was in the car and running. Thankfully his best friend from school Wyatt offered him a place to stay back in his old home of moon Burrow. He would be staying with Wyatt in his family home with Wyatt’s older brothers Diesel and Gunn. Billy wondered what Gunn would be like now Because he had the biggest crush on him growing up.
Gunn knew that he had feelings for Billy many years ago so he wasn’t entirely sure how he would feel when he saw him again. And those feelings returned straight away. It was obvious that Billy was running from something and he promised himself and his wolf that he would find out.
It wasn’t just the fact of getting away from his ex. He had to find money to pay for his fathers assisted living facility as Richard paid for everything control his bank account. If honesty his father was just happy to see him as they hadn’t seen each other in person for many years. His father was no fool He could see straight away there was something between Billy and Gunn.
Would they ever get together?? What would happen about the baby? Would Richard let him get on with his life??
I thoroughly enjoyed this book I really enjoyed the chemistry that Billy and Gunn had. It was nice to see a shifter that was a squirrel, we read so many books about these big animal shifters and I found it really cute the connection that they had when they were in their animal form. But this book is more about that it’s about the Wright family and I like the dynamic that Wyatt, Diesel, Gunn and Billy had. Something really special and I really can’t wait to read more about Diesel and Wyatt. . I cannot wait to read your next book because I get totally lost in your stories.

One powerful beginning to a new series.

Gunn Wright is an alpha shifter with a troubled past but a complete turnaround. While on his way to work, he almost collides with a mystery driver of a Mercedes. As he's about to approach the car, the river speeds off, but not before he's hit with the most tantalizing scent-his mate. Ever since that accidental encounter, he's been off. Grumpier than usual.

Billy Wall is an omega on the run from his dangerous alpha ex-boyfriend. Returning home to Moon Burrow was the last thing he wanted to do, but didn't have a choice in the matter. Especially being pregnant from the one man whom he had every reason to fear. While daydreaming behind the wheel, he barely missed hitting someone with his car. Too bad he was smacked with his scent before making his escape.

That accidental meeting for both ended up being the fate of their future and memories of their childhood. Unable to avoid the inevitable, while feeling neither was good for the other, Billy and Gunn made steps toward a future. Then the past came back to haunt them. After understanding the conditions of his position in the family business-Billy's ex, Richard, decided to use his power and influence to bully him into submission of a forced marriage and miserable future. While in a small way, his father, Forrest, played a a small part in his son's ambitions- Richard was horrendous all on his own. He ultimately got what he deserved but not without the emotional scars to accompany that freedom.

As for Forrest, once he got over the drama of losing his only heir and discovering the truth about his son, he wasn't a bad guy. The hidden burdens of success. Billy's omega dad, Daryl and Forrest, became great friends and grandparents.

Title - Wrightfully Wrong (Wright Auto #1)
Author - Fel Fern
Genre - MM Romance, Paranormal
Published - March 2022
Pages -247 Pages

Billy has escaped from his abusive boyfriend after finding out he's pregnant. He can't risk being Richard's punching bag anymore not now he's carrying another life. So he runs, heading back to his hometown where his high school best friend has said he can stay with him and his brothers. Gunn has made mistakes in his past, when his brother brings his friend home he can't help but be suspicious but there's something about this omega, something that calls to his protective nature. When Billy's past comes back to get him can Gunn put aside his insecurities and save his omega?

This book is the first in the Wright Auto series, I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters I thought Billy was so strong and amazing for being able to escape from his abuser and starting anew back in his hometown. He's so determined to stand on his own two feet, he gets a job and learns to look after himself and his baby. Gunn is a strong and amazing alpha, he really cares about people. He will go to any length to help and look after those he cares about.

I thought the plot was good, fast-paced, interesting and kept me hooked. I enjoyed the characters including the side characters. I can't wait to read more from this series and this author. I enjoyed the authors writing style. I found the characters to be likeable and relatable I thought the character development was great throughout the book.

I have chosen to give this book five stars, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys MM shifter romances with mates.

This is the first book in the Wright Auto series and I really enjoyed it. This is the story of Billy Wall and Gunn Wright. Billy is an omega squirrel shifter. He left his home town to discover life and ended up in an abusive relationship instead. Finally realizing he has to leave to protect his child from the same abuse. He runs back home to Moon Burrow. Broke and alone, he gets a place to stay from his old best friend. Gunn is an alpha and wolf shifter. He is also a mechanic and older brother to Billy's best friend. When they first meet, there is more than enough hostility and distrust to go around. Slowly they begin to see the person inside and not just the persona they project. This is their story. This story is well written and easy to read. The road to happiness is not a smooth one. Danger and drama must be overcome to find their happy ever after. I really enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to book 2 in the series.

DNF @15%

Oh too many issues in such a small percentage read. Gunn is supposed to be all rough and Alpha and bad boy, I'm assuming the author was going for a jerk hole who is actually a teddy bear, because predictable. However, he just came off as a very one dimensional asshole. He was very condescending, only calling Billy "Omega" as opposed to his actual name. Very much the vibe when men call women "females" you know? Yuck. Didn't like him. Billy on the other hand came off as dumb and defenseless. Like I can just see it. He's escaping his abusive husband, how you may ask? Oh well he took the brand new car - that of course will have a tracker - that his husband gave him, and drove to his little old town, where his only parent lives. I bet he'll be all "oh, but how did he find me?" rolls eyes . That's putting aside the odd fascination with talking about lasagne for the first two chapters, typos, missing words, just bad. This needed a developmental editor and proof reader big time.

First and last by this author. No thanks. Hard pass.

Wrightfully Wrong is a sweet, quick read book from Fel Fern. I have been a big fan of hers for years and I was happy to read about Billy and Gunn. There should probably be a few flags about abuse to spouses/mates in the beginning, if there were I didn't notice it. Having said that, Billy was running away from a boyfriend who after being together for a while, was becoming more controlling and abusive. Once he was pregnant, Billy realized he needed to leave, so he ran back home to Moon Burrow. While staying with his childhood best friend, Billy finds he still has a crush on Gunn, his friends brother. Gunn, a mechanic with a troubled past, thinks Billy is some fine omega, but couldn't be interested in him and his past.

There is some shifter fighting, action, adventure and lots of hot romance. Well worth spending a few hours escaping into another world.

What a wonderful mpreg shifter story! It was a page-turner for me! I do not normally go for mpreg/shifting stories but had the opportunity to read it as an ARC and I am very glad I did so.

The story is about this omega who was running away from his boyfriend, a mean Alpha because he found out he was pregnant and was in fear for his life. Billy, the omega had left Moon Burrow for a better life only to get in a very bad and toxic relationship in the city. He was returning to Moon Burrow because his best friend encouraged him to do that. As he got in the city, he nearly ran a guy off the road, not knowing it was Gunn, his best friend’s grumpy oldest brother. Gunn was the guy Billy had a crush on while growing up but never acted on it. I would encourage you to pick up the book and find out whether:
1. Billy acts on his desire for Gunn.
2. Gunn falls for Billy
3. Billy’s monster boyfriend finds him or not
4. Billy has the baby

Oh my stars was this a brilliant story or what? Not only does Fel Fern revisit the Moon River Coven House, but the Moon River Pack as well. Gunn was from Moon Burrows along with his brothers Wyatt and Diesel Wright, they have always been there for Billy when he lived in Moon Burrows until he left for the big city ten years earlier. Now Billy is home again with his tail between his legs and a baby on the way after escaping his ex who was dangerous. This storyline was strong and flowed freely and introduced the characters well. Gunn and Billy had always had something there in the background, but never acted on it until Billy came back and they were able to discover they were fated mates and after removing the danger, were able to find their happily ever after.

It was okay. I actually started reading the Moon Burrow Bears series first but when I discovered that the 2nd book of Wright Auto is about Mayhem (which I loved in the book Venom) I thought that I'll start the series from the beginning. This book was okay. It had a lot of sweet moments, some dramatic but nothing overboard. Gunn & Billy's relationship was okay, there was a moment of high-school-crushes (Billy had a big crush on Gunn, and Gunn was also a bit interested in him back in the days) with them meeting again after 10 years and being together. Richard I hated so much o questions asked about it. A little confusing sometimes were mistaken names, there also were some spelling errors, but none bugged me very much because you could overall understand the meaning.

Pairing ranking:
1. Gunn & Billy

I absolutely loved this story. I was completely hooked! I empathized with Billy from the start, and knowing his abusive ex was out there always made reading a little tense because in the back of my mind I was waiting for him to show up or do something. I loved the characters. Billy and Gunn were attracted to each other but fought against it at first. Billy was pregnant with his ex's baby, had no money of his own since his ex had controlled all the finances, and had to find a way to pay for his father's assisted living. There's a lot on his plate, can he handle a new relationship as well? And would an alpha even want a pregnant damaged omega like him? Great world building. Can't wait for the next book. 5 stars.

Protecting His Mate . . .

To protect his unborn baby, Omega squirrel shifter Billy escaped his abusive ex, Richard, to return to his familiar surroundings at Moon Burrow. His best childhood friend, Wyatt, immediately invited him to stay with his family, which included his brothers, Gunn and Diesel. Apparently both Billy Wall and Gunn Wright had always had a crush on each other growing up, but neither said anything nor made any advances.

With Billy pregnant, the danger of Richard coming after him is real. Will Gunn let his protective feelings for Billy make sure he is safe from his abuser? Billy had planned on leaving Moon Burrow after the baby is born, but will alpha Gunn ask him to stay? When will they realize they are fated mates and meant for each other?

Wrightfully Wrong is Book 1 in the Wright Auto series. This is an enjoyable story about Billy, a pregnant omega who left his abusive relationship and landed on his best friend's doorstep, and Gunn, an alpha and older brother of Wyatt, Billy's best friend. I enjoyed watching Billy and Gunn figure out what they wanted from each other. Gunn's back and forth of wanting to protect Billy and also keeping him at arm's length. Billy's sacrifice trying to protect his friends. This book is action packed, a bit intense at times, and has one crazy alpha who'll do whatever it takes to get what he wants. I recommend this book and can't wait for the next one.

A parent, always knows! Oooooh, this one is delicious! Felicia, always has the best characters and the best themes. Billy, escaped from his severely abusive ex, Richard. He was running away, back home to Moon Burrow. He was running to his old bestie, Wyatt who lived with his two older brothers, Gunn and Diesel. There was a 'misunderstanding' when Billy and Gunn first met and Billy did not let his recent bad experience with Richard, bend him. Billy, finds himself during his return. And he gets his confidence and sass back. Does Richard come looking for Billy? Will Gunn accept Billy's baby? Good story. I look forward to Diesel and Wyatt's stories. Is is good to be back near/ to the Moon River area this author created in earlier books. This is also an mm shifter mpreg book. Billy left his abusive and controlling ex Richard. He returns to his childhood home town, his father is there in care, and friend Wyatt and both Wyatt his brothers Diesel and Gunn. Billy and Gunn have a connection and start a relationship. I love the scene in their animal forms, too cute, and I always appreciate scenes like that.
Richard however, wants Billy back for his personal gain. Read how everything unfolds before Billy finds his hea.
This is the first book in a news series 'Wright auto' and I am looking forward to more to come.

Loved this spin off series. First book was good and the MCs had me cheering them on. Billy coming back home and finding his way back to his family and friends gave me all kinds of feels. He could have been a tragic character but he was so much more...brave and determined. Loved how him and Gunn at first butted heads but that was some weird flirting going on that led to them being mates...This omega/alpha match up was a delight with some spiciness that kept this a page turner. A little violence here and there but an overall romance to get you wanting more and hoping the next book in the series is coming out soon. Very nice ending with an even nicer surprise.

Fel Fern has written an mpreg shifter romance that is initially heartbreaking but after much drama and angst leaves us with a satisfying HEA. An out-of-control alpha male has hit his punching-bag omega boyfriend one too many times until the omega escapes to his hometown where he moves in with a childhood friend. The friend's big, butch, alpha auto mechanic brother...grrrrr... and the pregnant omega have a bit of a run-in, pheromones fly, and the story goes from there. There is a lot of drama, a lot of angst, some sexy time, an "OH NO!" moment or two, but a very sweet happy-happy end. This is a lovely four-and-a-half hour read.

Billy left his abusive boyfriend and now he is going back to his home town to stay with his best friend from school Wyatt Billy wasn’t taking notice of the road when he nearly ended up in a accident the guy got out of his car and that’s when Billy smelled alpha and that scared him so he took off. Gunn is Wyatt’s alpha brother he was the one that was nearly in a accident and when he saw the car in his yard Gunn was furious until he saw that it was Billy he knew that Billy was staying there but he was still angry until he looked at Billy and he was instantly attracted to him. I loved this m/m shifter romance and the characters and I definitely recommend this book.

Billy Wall has run away from his abusive boyfriend back to his hometown. He is staying with his high school friend until he can find a job. Wyatt Wright has known Billy since school and welcomes his old friend with open arms. Wyatt lives with his two brothers Gunner/Gunn and Diesel. Gunn is a grouchy person and Diesel is the jokester they run Wright Auto. Richard Palmer Billy’s ex is very wealthy but cruel and abusive. He wants his father’s company no matter what the cost; that price is married with a child and Billy is the answer. This is a very riveting story with plenty of drama, angst and steam.

Billy left his abusive ex Richard to go back to the place that the used to want get away as soon as he graduated. Wyatt his best friend welcomes him with open arms to stay with him and his brother's Gunn and Diesel. Gunn has always had a crush on Billy but never acted on it, but now that he has come back into his life he wants to give it a try. But it seems Richard is adamant to have Billy come back to him. Steamy scenes between the two of them and their was a decent amount of action. I can't wait to read Wyatt or Diesel's stories!

I loved Wrighfully Wrong by Fel Fern. It's the first book in the Wright Auto series. I loved Billy and Gunn. I liked how Billy went from being an abused and beaten down omega caused by his ex to being independent and empowered by his high school best friend, Wyatt, and his two alpha brothers, Gunn and Diesel. I'm so glad that Billy's ex got what was coming to him. I can't wait to see who Wyatt and Diesel end up with. I'm kind of hoping Wyatt ends up with Mayhem from Gunn's old MC Club.

I am so excited that we get more stories set in moon burrow! Wolf shifter Gunn never thought he needed a mate . Squirrel shifter Billy went looking for something more after high school and found himself in an abusive relationship. Pregnant and scared he runs home and finds the safety of his true mate! Some drama, a little angst, steamy moments , and a whole lot of swoony love! I like that we get to see some characters from the past books. Hopefully Mayhem and Wyatt get a story!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It's a nice start to a new series. Billy takes matters into his own hands and leaves his abusive ex to return to his home town. There he sees Gunn again and the attraction between them is strong. They take things slow but danger comes in the form of Billy's ex. I really liked how Gunn took care of business and rescued Billy. Billy and Gunn are perfect mates for each other.
