Dottie Mayweather’s boyfriend just took a DNA test and turns out he is one of 30 siblings with the same sperm donor dad.
Ozzy Deitz also finds out he is one of those siblings and he’s just as surprised to be part of the family.
The two meet when Dottie tags along with her boyfriend to a family retreat. They become fast friends but Ozzy would never hit on his new brother’s girl.
When Dottie’s relationship crumbles, Ozzy is there to pick up some of the pieces and lend her a shoulder. When Dottie asks him to lend her more than just a shoulder, Ozzy isn’t sure if he can leave his feelings out of it.
Dottie is in need of his sexpertise yet there’s more there. She wants his body but she can’t deny he may be more than just a boner donor.
Enjoy belly laughs and sexy times readers are comparing to Christina Lauren and Helena Hunting.

Jen Luerssen grew up in New Jersey and then lived for 20 years in the San Francisco Bay area. She has held various jobs in her adult life. Some examples are nanny, waitress, receptionist, dispatcher, caterer and finally teacher. She spent the past 8 years teaching 4th and 5th graders, until last year when she felt the call to write. It’s been plaguing her thoughts and dreams for years, and those thoughts finally fought their way out.
Jen loves to read, obsessively. She has an unhealthy attachment to her e-reader and is rarely seen without it. She’ll read anything, but especially loves a good smutty or a post-apocalyptic young adult book.
After “retiring” from teaching, Jen sat down and wrote a book and it was the most fun she’s ever had working. She is self-published even though she’s not sure how it works and hopes that people like her stories.
Jen is back in her native New Jersey and lives with her husband and daughter, enjoying suburban life.
Once again Jen Luerssen hits it out of the park with this humorous and heartfelt brand of romantic comedy she brings to the pages.
I mean how can you NOT LOL with that title?
Dottie is an uber-smart (for those looking for a STEM heroine) who unwittingly follows a current boyfriend to meet the 'family' he never knew he had. Alas, they are not the love match meant to be. She forms a friendship with Ozzy that adds benefits along the way. Someone catches feelings and things get a tad complicated to keep those under wraps.
Jen Luerssen's stories are a delightful example of escapism we need from our day to day. You'll laugh at the antics of side characters, watch characters resist the charms, and fail. Never two-dimensional characters in a smile-inducing story.
What a fun book! This book took me by surprise in the best way. Dottie and Ozzy’s chemistry was off the charts obvious from the beginning. Their banter and conversations were so funny. Even the secondary characters had a lot of personality.
I related to this book even more due to its location. I am from the Philadelphia area and currently live “down the shore”. It’s not very often one sees WaWa written into a story. Haha!
This is my first book from this author and it won’t be my last. I love her brand of humor and romance.
This has got to be, hands down, the funniest romance book I've ever read!
I don't want to give away any spoilers by writing any more than that. I just know that the romance, the strife, and the chaos will keep you reading the whole night through. I started reading this yesterday afternoon and didn't go to sleep until this morning! It's THAT good!
Well with the name "Boner Doner" I wasn't quite sure what I was going to be reading! Well let me tell you what a treat. This book was fun, and silly and so full of sexy times. I loved every page and movie quotes. My fave is from Pee Wee. The large group of Billsibs are their own form of fun Shenanigans, and the rest of the cast of characters, left me giggling. I received this book for an honest review.
Though I hated the title I liked the synopsis so I signed up. Happy I did look past the title. A wonderfully funny and sexy story about finding love and family. In this case more than two dozen siblings from the same sperm donor. Character development was decent so I am hoping some of these great secondary characters might get their own books.
I really enjoyed this book. The premise of the story was what drew me to it. I laughed throughout with some of the shenanigans that went on with the Billsibs. Izzy and Dottie’s story dealt with real life issues as well as the fun family times. There are a few characters that I hope we see more of in future books. Well done Jen Luerssen!
This was a lot of fun and was a very entertaining light read. Great dialogue. The crisis towards the end felt a little manufactured but its hard to have a story without any conflict and keep people interested. 4 stars.

This is NOT my usual genre. Not for years, anyways. Back when I was broke and read whatever I could get my hands on... Yeah. I read romance, historical fiction, etc. Whatever I could get but now that I have built up a whole library of TBR, aka my entire house... Romance books are few and far between. However, I couldn't pass up the chance to read a book with that title.
I liked the overall weird story line. Sperm donor siblings getting together for events and expanding their families. It was cute, pretty funny and quite mild on the ick. The whole "super close" siblings had me way weirded out for awhile.
I'm not one to laugh out loud very much when reading but the book had it's amusing parts. Character depth was there, families, backstory, all present which helped this be more than a Boink book. Granted, those parts weren't bad either and thankfully didn't take up half the book or happen every other chapter.
For the most part, I enjoyed this quick and easy read. Barely took a day and a half to finish, finding small chunks of time to devote to a couple of pages at a time. Honestly, I would probably be interested in other stories centered around the siblings and how they find love too.
Not bad for the kind of book that I swore off, years ago.
Without a doubt, this is a 2022 Must Read for me. Jen Luerssen has put her wit, wisdom, romantic nature and all around sass and sarcasm to excellent use while piecing together this beautiful story of friendship to lovers. Dottie's one and only boyfriend Jake has taken the step to find out who his father is by spitting into a vial. At the same time, Ozzy mistakenly finds out that his "father" is not his biological father when his father needs a kidney and Ozzy is not a match. It turns out that Ozzy and Jake are half brothers and that their biological father has spawned at least 30 children. Dottie discovers that her boyfriend Jake has not been as faithful to her as she has been to him. Dottie and Ozzy strike up a friendship that may hold the promise of so much more. They dance around a more meaningful relationship while trying to remain friends and a support for each other. This story is filled with humor while still delving into some real angst and also revealing that there is no norm in our everyday lives. We each have our own special someone, that one who "gets us" and loves us no matter what, that person we turn to when it seems all is against us. Now I need stories for the other key players in this one, please.

The story line is brilliant and so unexpected. So many laughs. Well worth a read, it will cheer you up, and we all need that in this time of trouble between Ukraine and the aggressor Putin.
This author can really lay out a really good comedy read, in a very real way.
