Zander.

My fiancé, CEO of our company, is offering me everything on a silver plate – family, love, security.
Things I’ve missed all my life.

My heart almost catapults out of my body whenever I realize how perfectly Zander has filled the empty hole in my heart.

He turned his life upside down for me.

He calls me by my name. A word he dreaded all his life.

He moved to Cherrywood for me, because this is the only place where I feel like home.

Now he’s patiently waiting for me to say three words: I am ready.
But I’m not.

Marrying Zander and starting the family he wants would mean placing my trust in fate, believing that I’m truly safe… that my children would be truly safe.

He’s promising me the future of my dreams, but how can I let go of the past?

Loving Rose is the second and final book in Rose and Zander’s story.

Part 2/2

2,5 💘🤔⭐️s

The premise and writing were nice. There were parts though that were drawn out.
I loved the mcs. There was romance and I swooned with the hero at a few points but at others it felt too cutesy.

I don’t know if I will read the next parts, with the stories of the hero’s brothers, but I will definitely read another book by this author.

Author Vikki Jay absolutely upped her game adding elements of intrigue and mystery to a wonderful love story, and bringing Rose's lost childhood some beautiful closure in Loving Rose. The love story of Rose and Zander intensifies through greater insight into both characters’ personalities and their blossoming relationship. Elements of fate, coincidence, and destiny coalesce into shocking revelations that bring clarity for the characters and the reader. It also brought the tears, so bring some tissues with you when you read this one. This novel is beautifully paced, interlaced with drama, humor, and steam. The ending was absolutely perfect! Talk about a full-circle HEA, yep, this book has it. I’m excited to read the next book as I’ve grown pretty attached to all of the characters in this series.

ARC REVIEW
4.5 STARS✨

This is a book 2 in The Teager Family series.
The ultimate conclusion of Book 1 Beautiful Rose , and the story of Rose & Zander.

It was nice to return to the Teager Family's magnificent world and the sweet romance between Rose and Zander.

Since the first time I met her in the first book, Rose has been my favourite heroine and most relatable character. And thus, i was waiting impatiently to once again see what will happen now that Rose and Zander were engaged.

And Loving Rose did not disappoint.
This is a sugary sweet romance with many actual concerns, and the secrets, twists, and turns that were hidden in Book 1 were revealed in Book 2.

I absolutely loved the epilogue here, the ending was a unique one. Certainly a rare one as well, might i add.

I'm so looking forward to read more of Vikki's work and read the next story of the next couple in this series!

Rose and Zander are engaged and he's patiently waiting for her to tell him she's ready to set the date, ready to take this all the way. She knows she's safe with Zander, knows he's her man, but her insecurities still get a hold of her at times, and her anxiety disorder, though much less apt to take her over, is still lingering.

Zander has been more than patient with his Rose. But his own insecurities are stating to creep into his thoughts now, too. Will she ever be ready to take the big step with him? Does she regret saying yes to his proposal? He wants forever with her, and will wait for her to be ready even if it kills him.

I have loved the journey these two have taken. Rose in particular exhibited so much maturity and character growth in this conclusion, and I was so proud of how far she had come since the beginning of their story. Zander is quite honestly, the perfect hero - sweet, patient and so deeply in love with his soulmate that he was willing to wait indefinitely for her to be ready to marry him. But the best part of this already heartfelt, sweet story was that ending. As if I weren't already in love with them, Vikki had to go and throw in that sweet addition to their lives, and I couldn't have fallen harder for them because of it! I know there are more stories to come from the Teagers and I really cannot wait.

Loving Rose is the continuing story of Rose and Zander and oh my heart!!
After devouring this beautifully written story it's offical! My love for these two has just been absolutely solidified.
Rose struggles daily from insecurities and with her social anxiety disorder. As she struggles to set a wedding date, Zander experiences moments of insecurities, but I can't even with this man, he is literally the ultimate book boyfriend / husband!!
He is beyond sweet, patient, supportive, damn sexy and is sooooo in love with Rose that I am officially jealous of a fictional character. I mean where does one find themselves a Zander????
After reading Beautiful Rose (Book 1) I couldn't wait to get some answers and have a little closure to some storylines, and oh wow my heart was not ready.
As secrets were revealed and answers were received my heart ached and my poor eyes shedded some serious unladylike tears.
What a truly emotional journey Rose and Zander went on.
But... the truly beautiful light at the end of the heartbreaking tunnel was the growth Rose went through individually and in her relationship with Zander.
Now let's talk ending...
Vikki Jay what are you doing to me??.... The ending to this story was heart stealing and tear producing perfection.
I'm adoring this world and characters Vikki Jay has created and I can't wait for more Cherrywood residents and Teager brother stories.

A Highly Recommended Read! (Make sure to read Book 1 first)

Vikki Jay has done it again!

The second in the Treager Family series gives us more of Rose and Zander as a newly engaged couple. While Rose continues to struggle with her past, Zander is concerned that she doesn't seem willing to choose a date for their wedding. In this book, we learn the answers to many of the questions we've had from book one. Most importantly, what exactly happened to Rose in her past, and what happened to her parents?

Rose and her struggles with anxiety and triggers from her past traumas continue to be handled masterfully in this book. The relationship between Rose and Zander keeps growing deeper, while they navigate both of their insecurities together. I loved watching Rose and Zander find their happily ever after, and getting answers to the mysteries introduced in the first book in the most satisfying way!

Thank you so much to Vikki Jay and to Give Me Books PR for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

If you hadn’t already fallen in love with Zander and Rose, you are certainly in love with them now. Rose is hesitant to set a wedding date but Zander is nothing but patient and supportive and deeply in love with Rose. After Rose suffers a panic attack and meeting with his adoptive father, Zander finally connects the dots to some lingering questions he’s had and he can finally give Rose the answers she needs. Together, Rose and Zander embark on a new journey together and even more in love.

This is a great continuation of Zander and Rose’s love story. The love between these two is so evident in so many ways and only reaffirmed by their actions. I can’t wait for glimpses of them in the next books about some of our favorite Cherrywood residents and Teager brothers.

Thank you @vikkijayauthor is this eARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

Vikki Jay, what have you done to me!! I have never felt so emotional reading a book until this one. But it was just beautiful 🤧

I had a hunch feeling there was some correlation with Rose and Sophia but didn’t expect that big twist you threw at us. I loved the growth with Rose and how confident and resilient she became.

The ending is what got me because my husband and I have talked about adopting from foster care!

Thank you for this beautiful book❤️

Loving Rose is the second part a duet and continuation of Beautiful Rose. Loving Rose is a suspense romance and is not a standalone.
Loving Rose picks up right where Beautiful Rose ends. This is a sweet romance with a little bit of spice. If you loved Beautiful Rose your going to enjoy Loving Rose. Loving Rose does a good job answering questions from Rose’s past. The ending was perfect and unexpectedly sweet. I loved watching Rose grow and heal throughout the story. Zander was a great supportive boyfriend but, impatient and a bit of a hypocrite telling Rose there is no rush to get married, but then is concerned about setting a wedding date. This book gives Rose and Zander the perfect HEA.

Summary: (with spoilers)

Zander and Rose are engaged and Zander is no longer afraid of saying her name.

Rose is scared of getting married, so much is changing all at once. She has a new roommate, Clem, who is Oscar's sister, so not a total stranger to Rose.

Kristy is pregnant and when she tells Rose, Rose has a panic attack and Zander says awake with her all night, watching her throw up and over between conscious and unconscious. Rose finally shares with Zander that she remembers more about her childhood than she ever let one. She remembers the hot on her back and she remembers a woman coming and taking care of her. She could see a little through a hood she wore over her head and she remembers the woman's brown eyes.

A big development happens when Zander discovers that Sophia is Beast's old wife and Kristy is actually Chloe, his daughter, who Sophia took away with her. Even bigger news is that Sophia didn't have a stillborn second child as she and Beast thought, the second born was stolen right after birth and that girl is Rose.

Turns out, Beast's friend, Roxanne, who supposedly found Sophia after she had been kidnapped and burned on her back, was actually obsessed with Beast and helped her brother kidnap Sophia. Later, Roxanne paid off a nurse to pretend the second born was a still born so she could kidnap the child and pretend she was her own. But her brother got a hold of her too and that is how Rose was hurt.

Rose eventually accepts that she now knows who her parents are and that Kristy is her biological sister. They also accept that nothing will happen to Kristy's daughter as the bad guy is dead because Roxanne poisoned him to save Rose.

Once Rose settled into her new family a little more, she warmed up to getting married real fast. They plan a wedding within a week and get married at the house Rose and Zander purchased.

One year later, Rose and Zander are driving home late at night after a family gathering and see a boy on a bus bench in the poring rain. They stop and realize he is sick. They take him to the hospital. He is a boy who lost his parents almost a year ago and he ran away from his group home. They convince the policy officer and headmistress of the group home to take him home with them for the night rather than spend the night at the police station.

The boy's name is Alexander, or Alex. He opens up to Rose and Zander after he shows them his scar and Rose shows him hers. The also bond over their love of Wolverine comics. When it's time to bring him back to the group home, Rose and Zander have a hard time parting with him and Alex has a hard time parting with them.

They end up adoption Alex.

Review:

Holy moly of drama. Loved this twist and it also broke my heart. I don't know how Rose could really forgive Sophia for pushing her away so much. I don't see why it would have hurt to include her in the family more.

Wish there was more of an ending with Alex. Would have loved to see him settle into their home and see Rose and Zander navigate parenting.

Not too much spice in this one.

With questions and secrets still surrounding Zander and Rose they are happy to be engaged but things keep holding them back. Rose is still trying to accept herself as the in love fiancé to the incredibly good looking, successful Zander but her pain and past keep haunting her mind and she still feels unworthy of him. Their love is still true and strong, Zander will do anything to protect his Rose even help her fight her own demons while always standing by her side. Rose wants to be normal, wants to love Zander openly it is just hard for her with all she has been through, will they be able to work through the pain and secrets? When the past starts to come to light Zander is in protective mode, but we start to get our answers we still had from book one and some of the twists were shocking. Rose had a lot on her plate with all that is unfolded but the main thing is she always had Zander standing by her side. As much as I loved that this second book gave Rose the much needed love and closure she needed, I still feel like there is so much more to uncover with the Teager Brothers, their pasts, and how will Zane and Zach’s stories play out. This ending for Rose and Zander’s was emotional but it was perfect for them and their love was perfect.

Series: The Teager Family series, book n°2

This is the sequel to Beautiful rose and I was fortunate enough to receive an early copy of this book.
I loved the first book and this one just reinforced my attachment to Rose, Zander and the whole world Vikki created in this series.

While in book 1 we are focused on Rose and Zander's character development, Book 2 was more plot-oriented and answered questions like what's Rose's origin story? Is Zander and Rose's relationship going to survive Rose's daily struggles ? and more secrets that we didn't have answers to in Book 1.
The story starts with Rose struggling to set a date for the wedding and Zander our lovely book husband, is as patient as ever during all of this.

I'm going to be honest, I NEVER expected the plot twist in this book. I ugly cried literally.

But the most amazing thing is after all the heartbreak and painful journey both Zander and Rose have been through, they both have finally gotten their happily ever after.

Zander and Rose's story ended in this book and the next in the series will tell us the story of another character.

Vikki Jay has created this amazing world and I can't wait to get lost in it once the next book in the series comes out.

Loving Rose is the conclusion of Zander and Rose’s story. Begin with Beautiful Rose to get the full enjoyment of the duet. I said this in my previous review, still holds up, this book is unlike any other romance I have read. Zander is the perfect book boyfriend, no doubt, and he is exactly the person Rose needs to blossom. Both healing one another from the tragedies of their past. This is such a moving story.

Loving Rose picks up where Beautiful Rose left us- Zander and Rose engaged embarking on their life together. Book is told thru dual first person narrative.

Zander is still splitting his time between St. Peppers and Cherrywood. After six months of being engage there is no wedding date in sight.

Even though Rose is becoming more comfortable with all the changes her life has gone thru since meeting Zander, her past still holds so much of her hostage.

Rose finally meets Beast, the man who took Zander and his brothers in years ago, and that meeting starts a domino affect of truth bombs.

However, the truth will set them free. It might take some navigation, forgiveness, and a TON of love, but this family will rebuild their foundation.

This is a dream of a romance. You have to have read the first in the duet to feel the full impact of this love story. This has real perfect fantasy feel to it as there really couldnt have been a happier ending for Zander and Rose. As soon as I finished the book I felt bereft. I missed the characters. I missed their story and their relationship.

Rose is a survivor of childhood trauma. She has physical and emotional scars from the trauma she experienced. As a result she has alternate ways of thinking, relating to people and coping with her everydays anxieties. She carries huge amounts of insecurity about opening herself up to love and to Zander. You really feel this journey alongside her and feel her pain at the things she lost as a child. Zander is incredibly patient, loving and he fills all the cracks in her emotions, propping her up and giving her confidence.

These two arent necessarily traditional. But theirs is a beautiful and heartwarming story. This duet is exactly how I wish real life could be for everyone. A perfect happy ending for perfectly imperfect leads.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second part of Rose and Zander's story. In the first book they got engaged and this story picks up 6 months later. While Rose is happy and engaged, everything else is still the same.

For the most part Zander wants to marry Rose and live with her and just love her, but he has to get her to move along with that scenario. In addition, she meets his family namely the man who meant everything to him and his brothers, Beast.

In this book we also get all the ends of Beautiful Rose all tied together. Rose learns who she is, where she came from and her story. I am not spoiling any of that.

It was a beautifully crafted story, and she has a very complicated past and I loved this story so much. I cannot wait to read more about Zander's brothers and Clem's story.

Loving Rose - The Teager Family #2 -

Once again Vikki Jay does it with Loving Rose, a fresh take on continuing the love story between Zander and Rose and their journey through engagement. Rose isn't so sure she's ready and Zander's more than sure he is. There's mystery, secrets and entanglements in Rose's past and until she finds the truth will she ever be ready to walk down the aisle?

For me the pages just kept on turning till they were gone and oh how I feel slightly empty without more from that ending it was only just beginning!! I feel like Loving Rose was so needed to complete the story on Rose's past and tie up some clues left behind in Beautiful Rose, but it gave so many twists and turns to keep the reader wanting more. I missed all the characters in the story, I was so lucky to be able to gain an ARC of Loving Rose and return to one of my favorite couples just a little sooner - thanks to Vikki Jay and her team I have grown such a love for the other two brothers and I can't wait to see what becomes of their stories.

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

I can't believe Rose and Zander's story is over now. I loved everything about their story and their journey to find each other. There were so many great twists and turns that happened. I was grinning from ear to ear because reading their story just made me feel amazing by the end. These characters are amazing people and I'm so happy with their happily ever after ending!

I am so happy that I signed up for Vikki Jay's sorry with Beautiful Rose and really can't believe this is her debut series - I really fell for everything in this story. I am now a devoted life long fan haha.

The ending of this book was perfect. I was bursting with happiness, I couldn't contain it all!

I know this series is going to be a reread for me in the future, because I'm already sad to say goodbye. I definitely recommend this series to everyone and can't wait for the next installment! :)

I honestly didn’t understand why we needed a second book for Zander and Rose since they’re engaged at the end of book one… well, Rose still have lots of healing to do and despite Zander being the most caring and understanding fiancée ever, she’s still having doubts about why does he love her. What I didn’t see coming was so much resolution in Rose’s past and how this helps her heal and finally she’s able to move forward with her life and accept and enjoy the love and comfort Zander provides her.

This is another beautiful book by Vikki, I swooned and cried and even laughed with Zander’s brothers antics. I love their journey! It’s so perfect! Not because is easy but because is real and has so many ups and downs, just like real life. The ending was just the cherry on top for these beautiful souls and I cannot wait to read Clementine’s book next.
If you’re into small town, smart heroine, cinnamon roll alpha romance this book is for you!

Loving Rose continues the romance between Rose and Zander from Beautiful Rose. I love their story. Rose continues to grow while battling her own self doubt and her social anxiety disorder. Even though Zander has sof his own insecurities, he continues to love Rose and help her weather any dorms that come her way. Loving Rose has some twists and turns that you never saw coming in Beautiful Rose.
This is such a beautifully written, heartwarming story. Two broken people who are not broken to the ones who love them unconditionally. Full of raw emotions, Vikki Jay continues to amaze me. Her attention to the emotional issues that plague both Rose and Zander, and her ability to write a compelling storyline Vikki Jay makes the story feel as real as it can get. I’m looking forward to reading more from Vikki and the Teager family. I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I have some mixed feelings about this one...

First off, this is a beautiful continuation of Beautiful Rose. Zander and Rose are perfect for each other. Rose is anxious about setting a wedding date and Zander is standing by her holding her hand. He always knows exactly what Rose needs or doesn't need. Their relationship is truly beautiful. This book is also different with Rose's anxiety disorder, it was a breath of fresh air. But Zander was always super sweet with Rose and helping her deal with her insecurities. Love the two of them together.

I just wish the book explained a little bit more outside of their relationship. For example, her parents. It came out very quickly and then got wrapped up just as quick. Also, can he talk about how Zander and the dad might be a problem?? Also, discovering what happened to Rose and why they did it....super quick. Just wish it had a bit more to it.

Overall, great book! Loved the romance and all the swoon moments.

"Because I fucking care. Because you're everything to me. Because it fucking matters to me."

Rose & Zander love story is still going strong and they get there happily ever after ❤️

We learn more about what happened to Rose and understand why her photographic memory is a curse to her...no spoilers. What I truely love is that Rose sees how good it feels to share her past with the man she loves. Zander learn more about the women he loves and understand even more about her panic attacks & behaviours.

Couch girl got her happy ending !!
She got the perfect job & friends. One hot husband that jumped out of a romantic novel and everyone with a pulse wish he was his 🥰

OH goodness there is a heart felt surpise at the end of the book...no spoilers. I hope we get a update from this beautiful family ❤️

Zane I love him so much and I hope he is next !! 😍

I received an advance copy of this book from the author and leave me honest opinion. I loved the first book in this series. Zander and Rose really pulled at my heart strings. When I realised there was more to their story I thought it would go in to Rose’s back story more. It did a little, but I think I would have liked a little more back story for Rose and other characters (can’t say who without giving too much away). I was annoyed at the start with Zander not understanding Rose’s hesitation and then I remembered he wasn’t a mind reader! I still loved how they made each other feel whole even after all they had been through. They would do anything for each other! Their connection and their friends and family made this a very enjoyable read and I can’t wait for more books in the series.

I know I said I didn't know why the author chose to divide Rose and Zander's story into two books. But now I know and I absolutely get it. And was I glad Vikki made it into two books because if this book was incorporated into the first book, I don't think I would appreciate the plot and storyline of this second one. If that had happened, I think it would be really fast-paced and it would not have enough information like this one.

I absolutely loved the continuation of their story. It was highly emotional, heartwrenching, heartwarming and beautiful. Kid you not, there are tears shed with this one. Their story gave me all the feels and so much more. And not just theirs but also Beast and Sophia's and Alex's. It was beyond amazing! I definitely would reread their story over and over again. They are my absolute all-time favourite books now. I can't wait for Zach's story next.

Loving Rose is the conclusion to Rose & Zander's story that began in Beautiful Rose (Book 1) that YOU MUST READ FIRST. Poor Rose, her past demons are keeping her from setting a wedding date with the man who would do anything for her, Zander. He has insecurities of his own, and yet, he definitely had Rose's six in everything which is something she needs in her life. She was relatable to me, and I loved me some Zander, so I was cheering them both on. It also felt super realistic in the telling so I didn't just read it, nope, I experienced it alongside these two. On top of all the angst, there are secrets that haven't made friends, and finally, we're going to get some answers with twists around every corner. To experience their story, you know what to do as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Having read Beautiful Rose, I couldn't wait for more! I started looking forward this second installment the moment i found out about it. I picked it up as soon as i could and got back into The Teager family world. I really enjoyed this second book!

Rose and Zander's journey continues! I was so glad to be back in this world with these characters! I couldn't wait to see what all would happen next with these two. I really liked getting to dig even deeper with them and the realness they showed. Once again, I loved how i felt a lot with these two characters!

With Loving Rose, Ms.Jay has created a great read and continuation with so many feels! I can't wait for more from her!

The Sweetest Couple of All Time!

What a beautiful continuation love story of Zander and Rose. We can now see the backstory of Rose, and how she overcomes so much in life. It amazes me how strong she is with the love she receives from friends and family. In this book, you will feel so many foreign emotions that you appreciate what you have in this lifetime.

Zander was her protector and would walk through a burning house on fire to rescue his Rose. Rose and Zander were the perfect match for each other. Rose was Zander’s Yin to her Yang! Superb story with a little bit of shock value, you won’t see coming.

So sad the duet is ending, but what a journey it was! 5 stars all the way!

As seen on my blog (Jessie's Reading Corner):
Loving Rose by Vikki Jay is the beautiful conclusion to Zander and Rose’s story that began in Beautiful Rose. While this may be the end of Zander and Rose’s story, I cannot wait to read more about the residents of Cherrywood and the Teager family (and hopefully see some more glimpses of Rose and Zander) in Vikki Jay’s future books!

I did struggle with this book in the beginning. I didn’t comprehend why Rose seemed so hesitant on starting a life with Zander. I stuck with it though and ended up not being able to stop smiling! This book is emotional. If you’ve read Beautiful Rose, you know that Rose AND Zander have had a rough upbringing. This book delves more into Rose’s upbringing and the yeah, you’ll need the tissues, but the reward is so worth it!

Thank you, Vikki Jay and Wildfire Marketing Solutions, for giving me the opportunity to review this book as an ARC! I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Rose and Zander have found a love that neither expected. The challenge now is getting Rose to commit to the actual wedding date. Zander has amazing patience as they work on strengthening their relationship as he introduces her to his family. I don’t want to give away all the great moments and unexpected surprises that I didn’t see coming for Rose. She is still haunted by what happened to her as a child but through this journey with Zander, the mystery may be solved giving her a stronger sense of self. Through it all, she continues to face her fears and build her confidence. There is true beauty in the final chapters as they both face the fears of parenthood and open their home to a deserving child. Allowing them to heal the wound of abandonment that they each carry. I enjoyed spending time with this couple and feeling all the ups and downs with them along the way. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I was glad Rose and Zander got another book, as I felt like she still had things to work through. In book one there was a moment I wondered about something. In book two that something is brought to light. In book two they're engaged and Zander is waiting for Rose to help pick a date. Yet she has not and it kinda worries him. Rose is relatable to me in ways and I enjoyed the story. You can't help but want to read more and become invested in the story. Though I am not a big fan of duets I loved this one and liked that the story flowed. This is my second book by Vikki Jay and I can't wait to read more of the Teager Family series.
