Are you the glue that holds it all together or the wounded puppy? Is family everything to you? Kellie Coates Gilbert’s characters are real to me as I go through their mental breakdowns, carry their secrets, face temptations, and hold out hope for a brighter future. Now I find myself holding my breath for the next book in this mesmerizing series.

I’ve read all the books in this series and I believe this may be the best book of the series. I love all the family members, even when they do crazy things. I feel like they could easily be my friends, and visiting them and their plantation would be so much fun. The descriptions of the landscape are phenomenal. As I was getting to the end of this 4th book in the series I considered it such a good thing Ms Gilbert has agreed to write 4 more books for the series. I would not want to leave this family, their friends and their plantation not knowing what will happen to them next. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes a good wholesome family story. I also think it would be best to start with the first book to get the background and to get to know the characters.

So fun reconnecting with this family, we see growth , love, heartbreak, fear, all the emotions.
And because of that, things hit home of what I am going through and how I can keep moving forward.

Another winner in the Briscoe family series. The support and love of family and friends is a central theme in this book. Beautiful descriptions of the Maui island and Pali Mau plantation. Christal finally seems to have found some happiness. Ava’s friend Alani faces health issues, which means Mia is returning to the island. How will the family cope with the return of their father’s mistress. The family faces multiple tests to their strength. Family bonds remain strong and unbroken. Definitely recommend this book

Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion

The fourth book in the Maui Island series does not disappoint. Kellie Coates Gilbert paints a beautiful picture of family love and support. The Briscoe family experiences a wedding, the renovation of the golf course on Pali Maui, coming face to face with their father’s mistress, a health crisis, and a devastating storm. The family comes together with a bond that cannot be broken. This book demonstrates what true family looks like!
Thank you to the author for the ARC. This review is my own opinion.

Such a group, the Briscoe family! Exciting - and sad - events happen in this fourth book, one completely out of the blue that knocks them all down (temporarily of course. These ARE the Briscoes and they always rally round for family and friends). As always, life moves round Pali Maui and brings an interesting individual to Ava as the golf course updates are set to begin. Character depth, beautiful locale, enjoyable plot. Jump in and read!

Kellie Coates Gilbert pours herself into every book she writes. Her plots and characters certainly keep the reader turning pages. The Briscoe family suffers setbacks and sadness but always keep the love and hope.
I absolutely recommend this easy to read but very interesting book and the rest of the Maui series.

I read this book as an ARC and wish to thank Kellie Coates Gilbert and the publishers. The ideas in this review are strictly my own.

Book 4 in the Maui Series did not disappoint!! Ava and family have been dealt a tough hand, but times get tougher when an unwelcome visitor from their past comes back to town AND a storm threatens to end the Pali Maui plantation for good. The title suggests it’s the end of the Briscoe’s story, but there are four more installments coming!! Can’t wait to start Book 5!!

Kellie Coates Gilbert has continued to keep me absorbed in this Brisco family saga. The family faces many tough obstacles that must be overcome, but there are also moments that keep the reader from feeling that the story is overwhelmed by “gloom and doom.”

I love how the author is able to bring her characters to life and make the reader care about them. Some of the problems the family must face would be more than many of us could handle, but they come together to deal with each issue head on.

Ms. Gilbert has written a beautiful and inspirational tale that will pull you into this story. The book is one that you can easily read in a day, but I’ve become so interested in the Briscoe family that it is hard for me to not immediately start the next one in the series.

Although you can enjoy later books without reading the first one, I would suggest that you start this series at the beginning so that you can more completely enjoy this family saga.

Time to rebuild!

The stage is now set for bonding together to make many things right again and I am waiting with bated breath to see how it will unfold. Will Mia be forgiven and treated like the lifelong friend she'd been before being drawn in by a self -serving pervert? There is so much to be discovered!

love this family

This book was a little deeper than the last ones. I am so invested in this family. They go through things as a team. The ups and downs are dealt with. Looking forward to my next journey with them.
