A great book to introduce children to the history of Texas rangers. It is filled with great information that can be read by younger children. This book starts in the 1820s and ends in the late 1990s and shows how the Texas Rangers have changed and developed over time. The illustrations are bright and colorful and help the reader visualize what they are reading.

This children's book does a nice job of presenting the Texas Rangers from time of Mexican territory to today. The text is appropriate and the artwork compliments it.
