It would be good to keep it in the same era as the book to make it more interesting. (less)

Hakeem's Uncle said he and the family can move to Detroit until the family is able to get back on their feet. Hakeems has a cousin the same age. They were friends when they were kids but now they don't get along. There is a lot of tension in this new fami

“Don’t do it Mijo”. Even though this quote in Brothers in Arms is only four words it says a lot. Martin Luna was the main character that mostly everything revolves around him. He was a teenage boy who has a really big heart. He’s tough but deep down in him there’s really a warming heart that cares.
Martin is going through a crisis. He had loss his little brother Huero. Not only that but his mom forces him to move away from his closest friend who are like family to him and start over

So Tyray asked this girl whom he liked named lark for some money to buy but instead of telling her the money was for the gun he told her the money was going towards a present he wanted to buy for hi ...more

What do you think? ...more

How will he survive?
In the book Bluford High Payback by Paul langan their was a bully that would steal money, hit ,and make fun of people. Soon enough Tyray had got a rude awaking and then he was now bullied. He soon realized that he doesn’t have any friends. He didn’t like the fact that it was happening to him so, he was working on to get a weapon but,he didn’t have money for it. I would recommend this to anybody that like drama and like book series.

i loved this book.It showed strength and real life situations about gangs, drugs and teenage troubles.Darrell Mercer moves to California from Philidelphia and he spends most of his time getting bullied ... Darrell wants to stop the bully but he is afraid of getting hurt he needs to make a decision of running away from the bully (Tyray) or fight back in some way.
