Santa Mouse becomes Santa’s littlest helper…in the kitchen! Join Santa Mouse and the elves at the North Pole as they bake Christmas cookies in a sweet holiday tale.
When Santa Mouse wakes to the delicious aroma of cookies on Christmas Eve, he finds the elves busy baking for Santa’s big day. Always ready to lend a helping paw, Santa Mouse joins in to bake and decorate a surprising plate of cookies for everyone at the North Pole, including Santa’s hardworking reindeer.
This stocking stuffer–sized board book with a padded cover is the perfect celebration of the classic Christmas cookie tradition.
Sweet, gentle story about Santa Mouse baking treats for Santa and his reindeer. I am often a bit hesitant about new books based on classic characters and while this is certainly not the same standard as Michael Brown's original Santa Mouse, the board book is a nice size for little hands and the illustrations are simply darling! Give the older kids Brown's original but I would not hesitate to recommend it to tots looking for a sweet Christmas tale about baking and giving featuring an adorable mouse and a diverse cast of elves.
I grew up with Santa Mouse and I wanted to continue the tradition with my nephew so when I saw this little book, I knew I had to get it.
The story itself is very simple, easy to read and basic but the drawings that go with it really make this a fun sweet story for young children and babies. I loved reading it to my nephew, looking at the graphics and talking about the cookies. It is pure sweetness.
