I very much enjoyed Gerhard’s perspective on the fall and redemption of man. Reading his section alone is worth it, but Chemnitz is an excellent addition too. Gerhard and Chemnitz both take great pains in their research to offer a treasure to the Christian Church. One cannot help but to respect how both theologians present clear scriptural references, precise definitions, followed with witnesses of various Church Fathers. Worth having as a go-to reference.
