Perfect book for the end of summer when you have zucchini growing out your ears and you can't even get friend to take it anymore. I wish there were more pictures.

This cookbook supplied me with all kinds of things to do with our summer zucchini crop. I'm going to buy it.

meh. I guess I should have figured a whole cookbook devoted to zucchini would find some ways to shoehorn zucchini into everything, and not always in a good way. I find the title confusing too--I saw the "zucchini cookbook" part and grabbed it on my way out of the library. then read the subtitle later. all kinds of squash. huh. make up your mind. That's what I get for not reading it more carefully before taking it home. Don't get me wrong. There's some good recipes in here. The Zapple Pie/ Strude ...more

It is the holdays and I'm sorting through all my cookbooks looking for a couple of old tried and true recipes (and of course can't find 'that one') and needed to add more of the cookbooks to the lists.

This all Zucchini cookbook is a must have for any one every plagued, I mean blessed (ahem) with lots of those long green squashy' items.

Stuffed, fried, chopped, breaded, raw, sliced, diced, marinated . . . well there are a few more things you can do with squash. And a lot of the best ideas or a va

I made a tex-mex zucchini skillet dish out of this, and it was really good. Though, I should say that it was pretty similar to what my dad has always made without a recipe. There is a tian dish I want to try, but I always think of it out of season, and this is a pretty seasonal book. Tomatoes and zucchini are summer things! Still it has some yummy looking winter squash recipes--I should try them--I still have acorn, butternut, and spaghetti squash to cook!

I can't believe how much I love this book. It doesn't have my Grandma Betty's recipe for zucchini brownies, but I'm pretty sure it has a recipe for every other imaginable good thing you could make with zucchini. And that's a lot more than you might think. Many, but not all, of the recipes make it so the zucchini is undetectable by small children--definitely a bonus. Can't wait for summer so I can start living off of this great stuff!

I just picked up this book from the library Thursday, and I already ordered my own copy on amazon :) It has many appetizing recipes for zucchini and many other types of squash, including pumpkin. I am excited to try some recipes out (with my own twists) and plan to update this review later.
