I needed more knowledge about Apache Kafka for my current task at work. This book gives the reader enough ability to know the first principles of the system and a deep dive into essential topics like topic management, segment creations and architecture.
It just contains a short part of code to illustrate examples, but it is not intended to show developers are to implement applications based on Kafka.
For the intended audience, it is a perfect start to Kafka. After reading through, you can discuss deeper Kafka topics with others and explore more areas of Kafka if needed.
