Pease note: this is a different author from Alice Bailey.

Alice A. Bailey (1880-1949) was an English esoteric practitioner and writer.
At the age of 35, she entered the Theosophical Society center in Los Angeles (USA), at the Pacific Grove Theosophical Lodge. In 1919, Bailey (39 years old) severed her ties to the Theosophical Society and began to write texts that he claimed were dictated telepathically by a certain "Tibetan," or "D. K. ». She published those texts under the title Human and Solar Initiation. There she made known the existence of the spiritual hierarchy, which Madame Blavatsky had already spread, although not in an orderly way.
She later revealed that the Tibetan D.K. was the master Djwal Khul. She wrote using the teacher's name for 30 years, from 1919 until her death in 1949.

This works well as an introduction to A.B.'s channelings. An excellent cross section of the library, covering many of her major ideas. If you don't know where to start...

Not a book that you read straight through from start to finish.
You have it there, near you (bedside table, loo, next to your pc....), you pick it up at random or you check out a topic that comes to mind (love, harmony, pain, meditation....)
Alice Bailey is a wonderful companion

This book sits by my bed and I read a few pages or paragraphs before bed. This book is Packed with the deepest esoteric wisdom on the planet (IMO) i like the fact that 100's of topics are covered with just a few paragraphs and or pages that are taken from the many books written by Alice Bailey...

It would be a lie to say, I read the book. I should say, I read the text. I gave a perspective, created a sense to go back and read again, this time to try understand and learn. Please share an electronic copy to buy.

This is one book from a series of writings by the spiritualist, Alice Bailey and the spiritual Tibetan master, Djwal Khul.

As indicated on the back cover, it is a collection of ‘scattered’ writings, compiled by a ‘student’ and brought together ‘as a basis for the instruction of disciples in training for initiation’.

Should you have serious questions about spirituality and ethics then you would be well recommended to dip into this esoteric book. It has one hundred and eighty six short chapters on topics ranging from the Christ to consciousness to death (sequence of events) to sex to war.

Be prepared for some controversial views...

You would be well recommended to also read Death: The Great Adventure in this series.

Read this book if you are seeking spiritual answers to life.
