When a dead body is found outside of the inn, Reva finds herself involved in a murder mystery that hits too close to home. Will the Chief of Police cause problems for Reva and Matt?
Sara Bourgeois is a Midwesterner through and through. She spends her time writing, reading, herding cats, and standing in her driveway during tornado warnings. (You can't see them from the basement.)
This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A fine cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Riva is a witch who owns a motel in a small town up in the Northeast. She runs it along with her aunt in the hotel caters to humans and even ghosts on occasion. Her boyfriend is the local chief detective and Reba always seems to be involved in the different criminal cases in town. Along with your friends and occasionally her for me you’re a sarcastic kitten she figures out all the details. Redone and enjoy the adventure in this book. A great read check it out
when a body shows up at their reception, Reva and her detective husband fall under suspicion, and some bad attitudes do not easily wear off - likely rather ironic, given any attacks at the hotel might well be directed at Reva or her family
The Chief seems to harbor a dark attitude, and a bitter stance on publicity, which does not bode well for Reva and her cohorts
Are the negative attitudes hampering the investigation?
Reckless and desperate to solve the case, could Reva be putting herself in worse danger or jeopardy?
intense paranormal and small town drama

A thoughtful and fun story. Reva and Matt’s wedding day is interrupted by a dead body, not exactly the kind of memory you want for such an important event. As they delve into the investigation, you begin to see what they are up against. Read this book today and see how the murderer is caught. Highly recommend this series, the ghosts and familiars are truly great entertainment.
Reva becomes a suspect in a murder on her wedding day. It's truly far fetched. Most of the police force needs retraining. are a solves the crime after much anguish. This is not the best of the series. I found the endless conversations with Candy Apple tedious.
I posted this review after reading this title as part of the series boxed set.
Well, the happy couple are finally married, but their problems are still causing havoc. A woman found dead outside the Inn's kitchen window on the night of the reception starts another strange investigation that from a police perspective seems to leave a lot to be desired.
This book will have you on the edge of your seat while reading it. I picked out who one person was before they revealed it. This series keeps getting better and better.
This is one fantastic series! I love the characters and the mysteries. This one had so many surprises. I did not see some of them coming at all. Loved it!
