intimate details about ow, how he's been a saint for holding on fucking her for so long etc and all in the first couple of pages. such a lovely way to start off the book !

“I’d endured weeks of watching her dress in short skirts that with a simple bend revealed the firm, tanned globes of her ass. I’d wanted to grab and touch those cheeks, maybe even redden them as I sank inside of her. And her blouses. They always seemed to be halfway unbuttoned, and I was positive I’d seen more of her breasts than anyone else, outside of the plastic surgeon who’d worked on them.”

“I brought one hand to her hair, fisting a handful of the platinum silk while stroking myself with the other. She parted her lips as I finally guided it toward them. Immediately, I felt the warmth of her mouth as it closed around the tip.
Candy might have been a walking, talking Barbie doll, but she sure as fuck had a mouth on her. Her tongue traced the seam of the tip for a few seconds until I let out a low growl.
“Don’t tease me, Candy,” I warned. I had gone this far, and it would be a shame to end this little tryst before I even came. My mouth had brought her to two orgasms already, so it was now my turn.

“I looked back down, watching as she sucked my cock into her mouth. Each pull from her lips had me sinking deeper toward the depth of her throat. The suction grew harder until I felt her graze the vein on the underside of it with her teeth.
I’d always liked a bite of pain with my pleasure. Tightening the grip I had on her hair, I jerked her head back, so her mouth was now angled perfectly. Taking control of the act, I withdrew until just the tip remained, then thrust to her throat. She swallowed down around me like a pro, her skills most likely coming from years of experience.”

365 days plus 1 day, that's all it takes to live in Caspian's dream life, as his wife, and Paisley grasps at the chance to marry him and find her financial security.
The wedding is fake, but the relationship feels all too real. Paisley worries that her heart will be broken at the end of this pretend marriage, that it will be extremely difficult to walk away from this year with Caspian.
Conveniently yours was a sweet, slow burn story. When the past and present collides and creates an intense and passionate romance, this couple embraces each other, and the relationship soars.

Conveniently Yours is the first book in the Titans of Manhattan series. This is the first time I am reading this author and didn’t know what to expect . I was intrigued by the synopsis and wanted to check out this story. This is a marriage of convenience romance. Caspian Archer is a workaholic millionaire & CEO for his uncle companies and to get control of Archer Industries his uncle put up a condition for him to get married. He meets his childhood friend Paisley when he is visiting his uncle and she is visiting her mom. Paisley is struggling financially and Caspian takes sort of advantage and kills two bird with a stone and offers a marriage of convenience to Paisley in return offering her financial support. The story was captivating and eloquently written. However I did feel Caspian didn’t really apologize for all the manipulation he did . I really like Paisley character, she was strong and had a backbone and even though she had feelings for Caspian she was not a doormat but gave more importance to herself and her self respect. Overall it was a enjoyable read and I would definitely be reading more books in this series and other books by this author. Definitely a must read!

I enjoy a marriage of convenience plot and was intrigued by the synopsis. I found the plot to be formulaic while also unique in some ways. Ultimately, I just couldn’t connect to this story. The writing was a bit choppy and redundant. I didn’t understand the conflict from the heroine’s perspective and I felt like for how much conviction she had she gave in to the grand gesture without any reflection. I felt that the book could have been much shorter and still told the same story.

Caspian Archer was a Billionaire Playboy who had dreams of being appointed the new CEO of Archer Industries. Living through a childhood of abuse Caspian heart grew cold and unyielding. Thanks to his Uncle Preston; he was removed from a childhood of hell and was adopted by his wealthy uncle and Blessed to live a life people dreamed about.

Paisley Fischer was shy, introverted and the epitome of the phase "If it wasn't for bad luck; I wouldn't have any luck at all" Living a life of poverty and humble beginnings; she could never catch a break. A young talented Artist still struggling to make a name for herself. The only thing she had in life was her mother and her Art.

Caspian is given an ultimatum to find a wife and remain married for 366 days or he will not be named the CEO of Archer Industries and will lose any rights to ownership of the company.

The beauty in this story stems from the fact that Caspian and Paisley were once childhood friends. Growing up in the same poor neighborhood until Caspian moved away to a better life.

Although Caspian and Paisley embarked on a marriage of convenience so that he would inherit Archer Industries and Paisley would receive the financial blessing she desperately needed to care for her ailing mother who was in a coma. On the verge of losing everything Paisley agreed to Caspian terms and they embarked on a journey that lead to self discovery for both of them.

Caspian learned to be vulnerable and open his heart to let someone in and Paisley not only learned to love the skin she was in but became confident in her abilities as a talented and beautiful Artist.

Of course there were those trying to tear the couple apart including Caspian's uncle Preston. Through "Good Intentions" Caspian's plans to help Paisley resulted in Hurt and Betrayal which was the necessary catalyst for Caspian to fight for the one thing he couldn't stand to lose; Paisley.

Beautiful Rags to Riches story. Proving that not only are people worthy of Love but Love is worth more than all the Riches, Prestige and Power one can achieve. Above all else; Love is worth fight for.

Conveniently Yours is the first book in the Titans of Manhattan series. This is the first time I am reading this author, but it has a couple of things that are like cat nip for me. One it is billionaire romance; I love a billionaire. Next it was a marriage of convenience, and together these things can make for some spicy connections.
Caspian Archer is a workaholic millionaire & CEO for his uncle companies and to get control of Archer Industries his uncle put up a condition for him to get married. I would say he is an alpha hole and a bit of a narcissist. He runs into his childhood friend Paisley when he is visiting his uncle and she is visiting her mom.
Paisley is struggling financially, and Caspian takes sort of advantage and kills two bird with a stone and offers a marriage of convenience to Paisley in return offering to help with her financial woes.
It was a well written. I did struggle with Caspian a lot. I was not a fan of the opening chapters, but I am glad I powered through them because I did like Paisley. Caspian was a jerk. He never really apologizes for all the manipulation he did. Paisley is a great character; she was strong and had a spine and even though she had feelings for Caspian she did not allow him to walk all over her. If you like a true alpha hole that doesn’t necessarily completely redeem himself, you will like this book. Caspian stay true to character through the whole book. There was a lot of push and pull between the characters which I enjoyed.

Anise Storm is a new author to me. Conveniently Yours is 1st instalment in her new series Titans of Manhattan. This one featured Caspian and Paisley, former childhood friends, when they met again, they couldn’t be on more opposite sides in life. He needs to get married to keep his company and prestige, she is on the brink of poverty fighting to keep her mum alive. Both decided to help each other: Marriage of convenience - twelve months and one day. It’s a contract, both will benefit from it. No need for feelings or emotions involved. But a lot can happen in that period of time.
Conveniently Yours started as a fake relationship, but really soon became sth more. It was a quick read, quite interesting. I was missing the more personal side of Casprian, to get true inside of him. To feel that affection wasn’t only radiating from Paisley.
Overall 4★ out of 5.

Caspian Archer is a successful businessman. He cannot complain that something is missing; however, when his dying uncle gives him an ultimatum there is when he must rethink a strategy so as not to lose his position in the company he loves and for which he has worked so hard. Used to having all the women he wants, now he must settle down, at least for 365 days plus one. Luckily for him, he meets an old friend from his childhood: Paisley who is the complete opposite of him and all the women he frequents, which make her perfect for the role of his wife.

Well, I have to be honest and say that when I started reading I didn't really like Caspian because he really was a Playboy. When he proposes the deal to Paisley, he was very clear and honest about it: just a marriage of convenience, with no feelings. However, as the days go by, his interests change and Paisley manages to get into her skin. And it is that she is a sweet, affectionate and very empathetic woman. Her intentions and the reason why she decides to marry him are noble, and although at first she accepts that it’s simply an agreement, she wants something significant which manages to make a change in Caspian to make their relationship work and last. "Conveniently yours" is an entertaining book and if you like reading with marriages of convenience, forced proximity and billionaire romance, you must read it!

This is book one in The Titans of Manhattan Series and it is Caspian and Paisley's story and what a great start to a new series. Caspian and Paisley have a marriage of convenience due to his uncle putting in a condition that Caspian has to get married to get control of Archer Industries so it worked out for both of them as Paisley needed money to help her mother and Caspian needed a wife and throw in the fact that they are childhood friends and you have one mixed up and complicated set of of circumstances. There are twists and turns along the way and I absolutely loved this book so much and I couldn't put it down as I wanted to see what would happen next between them. This is the first book that I have read by Anise Storm but definitely not the last as it had a great storyline and characters and it was so well written and definitely worth reading.

The plot for this story was sweet and an easy read, the characters were believable and had me rooting for them. However, it was very predictable and proceeded to flow along as I had expected.

Paisley is reaching desperation and finds it hard to see a way out, enter Caspian, a childhood friend and a billionaire who is in dire need of a wife to keep his uncle's company. The characters are both likeable with several haunting childhood traumas to keep them hiding emotions and catching feelings but, we all know it’s futile.

This is the first in a series of the ‘Titans of Manhattan’ and I can imagine that the male characters will be a force to be reckoned with in future books.

Caspian is on the cusp of becoming CEO to his uncle's company, something that he has worked his whole life for. His uncle has decided to throw a little wrench in those plans, he has stated that Caspian must get married and stay married for at least a year otherwise he will sell off the company. Soon after hearing this news Caspian runs into an old childhood friend, Paisley, who is at her worst, rock bottom and doesn't see a way out. So Caspian offers her the deal of a life time: Be his wife for 365 days plus one and he will give her the financial security she needs.

The first two chapter of this book were super cringey and I felt unnecessary but I powered through and really truly enjoyed this book. I felt that it was well written, captivating and I really liked both of characters. Caspian was always open and honest with how the marriage was going to be but it was fun to watch Paisley bring him to his knees and admit he wanted more from life than just his uncle's company. I couldn't put this book down, I had to know what was going to happen and how their story would unfold. I am looking forward to more in this series and from this author. Definitely think this one is worth picking up.

Definitely a great start to a new series. Caspian is a extremely successful businessman and a total ladies man. He has absolutely no shame in his game. His uncle gives him a ultimatum, you want to take over the full company you need to be married. Paisley is struggling to keep a roof over her own head and pay her mother’s medical bills. When these childhood friends literally run into each other at the hospital, Caspian comes up with a plan to solve both of their problems. We all know how well a marriage of convenience is going to work out between these two. The ink wasn’t even dry yet on the contract and they were acting on their mutual chemistry. I was extremely entertained, between his witty uncle, the harem of girls falling at Caspian’s feet and Paisleys quick banter. This was a great quick read with a great story and well developed characters. I’m looking forward to seeing what else this Author brings to this series. I’m really excited about the books to come!

I absolutely loved this book. Caspian stoled my heart from the first page. He was sweet, protective, and sexy. He was the perfect alpha hero. Paisley was also amazing. I loved her strength and character. She loved and cared with all her heart. The story was beautifully written. I was instantly hooked and just when I thought the story couldn't get better Anise threw some twists and turns. The sexy scenes were written perfectly and not too drawn out.

Caspian and Paisley find themselves in a situation. Caspian is being given an ultimatum by his dying Uncle: marry or give up the company. Paisley needs money to help pay for medical bills. They are childhood friends who haven't seen each other in 20 years. They run into each other at the hospital and strike up a deal.

These two had a story of ups and downs. So good!

This is a well written book with strong characters in Caspian and Paisley. The author brings a rich man/poor woman fake marriage with a growing relationship as the story moves forward. It's an entertaining story , moves fluidly with perfectly painted scenes and is a sweet love story.

While I was intrigued by the marriage of convenience trope, the writing felt like it was missing something to really connect me to the characters and most paragraphs were a little cringe to read. The plot was all over the place and the writing did not do it for me.

The story was however sweet and light with okay smut.

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. Caspian and Paisley moved a bit slow for me. I felt like the first third kind of dragged as they started their relationship. But after that, things picked up and I liked it more.

Storm grabs hold of the heart before you ever feel the burn. Slide into love with Caspian and Paisley without even realizing you've fell. Workaholic, philandering billionaire Caspian needs to find a wife to keep his company. Paisley needs a miracle to pay her mom’s medical bills and not be homeless.

I loved how Caspian needs to find a wife, and rather than picking someone easy and used to his luxurious lifestyle, he picks a childhood friend whom he’s just reconnected with. Paisley is that childhood friend in rather dire straights that needs some of Caspian’s wealth and influence.

While their relationship is fake, it feels real pretty quick. It does heat up very quickly, but the admission of feelings takes way longer. Paisley is one of the few people that doesn’t let Caspian push her around and I love that she stood up to him. Some of my favorite moments in the book are the flashbacks to when Caspian and Paisley were children together; they had such a sweet and supportive relationship.

This is an interesting story, where the hero is a bit of a romantic dunce and not interested in giving his heart away, but his heart has other ideas.

Haven't suffered through a book this bad in a long time. Forgot how many times I almost DNFd the book until it got to the 50%? 60%? mark. But then it started getting better, the characters were behaving like normal people would and weren't being spoiled brats and I started actually looking forward to how it might end. I got my hopes up for no reason at all coz it all went downhill again and badly! The H is an a-hole and the h is an imbecile and they absolutely deserve each other. And the writing, holy hell the writing... An example of that would be a scene where the h is taking a cab to somewhere in NY because of some stupidity by the H. This girl is supposed to be all heartbroken and shit and in between that there is whole walk-down-memory-lane of how bad the traffic is and how bad the drivers are and how that's the reason the h said no to the H buying her a car. What???? Who??? Where??? How is this normal thinking when you are heartbroken??? God what a wreck!

Caspian is given an ultimatum upon hearing his uncle is dying - marry or lose the company. And the company is his life, so he wants that more than anything. While leaving the hospital, he meets up with Paisley, a childhood friend who he hasn’t seen in almost twenty years.

Paisley is down on her luck and her mom is in a coma that her insurance is not going to be covering much longer. And while she finds Caspian’s proposal far-fetched, what else is she to do when she’s locked out of her apartment too.

And things go okay for a while as Caspian doesn’t really seem to change because he’s married but he also wants to support Paisley with everything. But when truths come out, Paisley has to look out for herself and leaves.

Paisley and Caspian get their happy ending in this stand-alone book in a series.

This was a great book but parts fell flat for me. Caspian, while he came from meager beginnings, now seems to just throw money at everything and I feel he was written as he was an actual titan of his life and those around him. And as much as he brought Paisley up, without the human connection to don’t feel it would ever have been enough.

It also bothered me that Caspian never really apologized for what he did. It was implied that he did in the texts, but I feel it would have been more powerful if it was in person. And what happened to all the paintings Caspian purchased and had in storage?

I absolutely loved this story! When I first read the synopsis, I knew it was going to be my kind of book and it absolutely was. Caspian is the kind of character I know I should hate but there was just something about him and I knew he would change as the story progressed. He is your typical alpha male, billionaire character but I think there ended up being much more o him. Paisley. Knew I would love her straight away, yes, she was probably your typical female lead in this type of story but she was such a lovely person and she actually wasn’t afraid to stand up to Caspian which I admired about her. There was the angst I wated between them but also a slow burn passion that you could feel building with every turn of the page.
Overall, a really great read, one that I would highly recommend and I look forward to reading more form this author again in the future.

Paisley's at the end of her rope when she encounters childhood friend, Caspian, and he gives her an unorthodox proposal - marry him for a year, fake being in love, and out of the deal she'll receive a million bucks and a penthouse. She can do it, right? She'll do anything for her mother, to pay for her mother's medical care, so she'll be able to do this. First up, though, keep her heart out of the way of Caspian's grasp, though, because the man isn't known for commitment, love, or even decency. She'll have to keep her distance and do her best and hope that knowing her mom is set will be enough comfort after a year, because the tornado that is Caspian is sure to leave her flattened.

The marriage of convenience trope is all kinds of fun, especially when the heroine is strong with a backbone like Paisley. She knew she deserved better than to be manipulated and treated terribly like Caspian treated her, and did what a strong woman would do. I always cheer on when heroines (and heroes) demand to be treated the way everyone should be, especially by someone who's supposed to care about them. I didn't like Caspian - he's an alphahole with no redeeming qualities and didn't grovel at all when he should have, and Paisley could have done far better, but the story is entertaining, steamy, and fun.

Conveniently Yours is the first book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm. I have read a few of this author’s books before and loved every one, so I didn’t even have to think about purchasing this book to read, and happily one-clicked a copy and dove in as soon as it hit my Kindle.
I have to be honest, the start of this book had me a little worried as I was pretty sure I was going to hate Caspian, our male MC… but I kept reading and surprisingly he, and the author, won me over in only a few short chapters. By that time I was well and truly hooked- completely invested in the characters and the outcome of their story.
Caspian Archer is a titan of the corporate world. His past still haunts him- the driving force behind his rise to success. He leads an enviable lifestyle, with anything he wants within his reach. So, when his uncle demands that Caspian marries quickly, or face losing everything he has worked so hard for, Caspian has no choice but to come up with a cunning plan. Bumping into his long-lost childhood friend in his hour of need seems quite fatuitous, for them both.
Paisley Fischer is down on her luck- all her hopes and dreams are crumbling before her, and on top of it all she faces losing her beloved mother if she can’t find the funds to provide the medical care she desperately needs. But a blast from the past might just hold the key to not only keeping her head above water, but more importantly being able to properly care for her mother. Will she agree to his unconventional proposal? Has she got what it takes to carry out the plan? This story is definitely worth the read to find out!
This story is a superb fake marriage contemporary romance with plenty of chemistry, sparks, and sizzle. There are angsty and emotional moments, and times where these two characters either made me want to shake some sense into them or wrap my arms around them in a huge hug for what they had been, or were going through….
Colour me hooked on this series now and I can not wait to get my hands on Book #2, it can’t come quick enough!

Happy reading!

Thank you, Anise Storm!
