It has been three months since Logan and Emma escaped the battle in the Hidden City, but the fight for survival has just begun. Supay has destroyed Vanirya, and Earth is next, unless they can find the Leyandermál, the most powerful weapon in the universe, before Supay, or anyone else, does.
They will first need to find Isa, who holds the key to locating the Leyandermál, but she is lost in time with Annika. Logan and Emma will have to search throughout history to find her, unraveling the clues left behind in humanity’s past, but their search will not be easy. Not everyone wants them to succeed, while others are sinisterly counting on it.
Join Emma and Logan as they race against time to save humanity and each other, in The Final Coordinate, the thrilling conclusion to The Coordinate series, where failure may be the only option…
I hope you will all love The Final Coordinate as much as I do, and I very much look forward to hearing back from each and every one of you on what you thought of the book. Me personally, I enjoyed (writing) it immensely. Therefore, I am giving myself 5 stars!!! But that's just one author's opinion, and ALL opinions are welcome. Yes, even reviews from those who liked it less than me. I hope you enjoy it, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts! Thanks, Marc
Thank you Mr Jacobs. Well worth the wait for book 3. You did not disappoint. Loved the history the mystery and the sentiment. No spoiler intended but would love to know all the new found powers were obtained and what could be done with them but everyone loves a happy ending
Only once in my life had I read a trilogy so captivating, absorbing, and personally meaningful in unsuspecting & surprising ways! I'm no stranger to synchronicity. As someone who has an unusual tale of my own [passed down to me, in secret] there were certain odd similarities to some 'exotic' elements in this story. Wthin these 3 books, were clues I'd never put together before, relating to my own bizarre geneology; historical references that tell a more fleshed-out story than I received as a young girl, many decades ago. It was a remarkable 'non-coincidence' this trilogy came to me now. As the hidden last scion of 2 historic lineages, their relevance is a crucial component to understanding certain writings that were left to me, and what to do with them. I don't know who this author is...we've never met, personally...but you were destined to write what came into my hands recently. Thank You, Marc Jacobs, for an integral piece of the puzzle that's been bothering me for over 65 years! This was a phenomenal read; well-researched and well thought out.
Indiana jones, national treasure, stargate! What a fun romp! A clever read that keeps the pages turning! Hope they do right by the inevitable movie version
I hated giving this book only 4 stars, but Marc pushes credibility with his really stretchy interpretations. Neverthelesss, this IS a GoodRead! Marc juggles so many complex issues here and mostly does it brilliantly. But at points in this book, he pushes credibility a bit too far, seeing and interpreting things beyond reason. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed all three books. On the plus side, I only caught one face slapping grammar error. That is remarkable for most contemporary authors. All the copy editors must have moved on to better paying jobs it seems. But Marc really has grammatically clean copy. The story itself is as big as the universe and as intimate as two young people in love. I highly recommend the series.
Wow! I love this entire series…. Twists and turns, surprises mixed in with Sci-fi! During the first book I almost quit, since it seemed slow. There was a lot of background to set up. Once that was done, it was well worth the time to read. The characters are interesting, nicely developed throughout the series. The use of real places and mythologies made the books much more interesting, and the inclusion of links to on-line sites were a welcome surprise. I looked up several things that weren’t included, that’s one of my favorite things to do, and this book gave plenty of ideas for research! So glad I finished the entire series!
The Final Coordinate was everything fans of the first two books could have hoped for and more! First of all, the amount of time and research Marc puts into these books is incredible, and it really shows. More times than I care to count I was mind blown at how seamlessly this book tied up the first two and introduced new and exciting clues for Logan, Emma, and company to work through. This is by far my favorite series, and The Final Coordinate was exactly what I was hoping for and then some! Definitely a must read!
What an amazing series the creativity and imagination and the history all tied together. Book 3 by far was my favorite of the series. I read this series in 4 days, that's over 1000 total pages! Looking forward to your next book
An awesome ending to this awesome series. Watching the storyline come full circle was great and the characters made the book come alive. I really like this book and I highly recommend.
Perfectly tied up. Amazing use of historical mysteries from histories past. The time travel aspect was a bit mind bending but again a perfect way to tie up the story. A must read!!
I learned a lot of history along with words like "gobsmacked". But mostly I completely like the story and the perfect telling of it. The twists and turns, the breath taking span of centuries, time travel and traveling the stars were all told with characters so believable I fell for them. Read all three in order!!! As much as I wanted to rush to the ending, I didn't want the story to end. You will find yourself camping out in some of the history and enjoying the science in the fiction. I loved this story. Thank you Mr. Jacobs.
A great story in three books with Emma and Logan through time and space. When I finally put down the third book, I was exhausted. The author manages to make you want more. Mixing science and science fiction along with "historical fiction" is no easy task but it works here and propels the story in ways and to places that boggle the imagination. There is one thing that bothered me or rather caused me to pause and have to think, "where am I and who are some of these characters. There are a lot of characters coming and going throughout the series but then again crossing the boundaries of both time and space would cause that. All of that said, the series is excellent, exciting and even a little thought provoking.
When I say I could not put this down I mean I literally read all the books in a week. Absolutely loved these books! I fell in love with Issor from the moment I met her. I even bought a set for my niece to read them. Emma is a great strong character and someone every girl can look up to. The writing was captivating and the story kept me hooked wanting more.
These books have mystery, decoding, adventure, travel, young love, space, and so much more. Numerous times I felt I was there with Emma on each adventure seeing what she was seeing through the great imagery and story telling. After reading these books, I am definitely a Marc Jacobs fan.
I could not put this book down until the last page!
I love science fiction but this series is the best I've ever read. Being a history major in college I loved the way real history intertwined with myths, legends and science fiction. Keep it up!
Such a great trilogy! There is so much in all of them, it must have taken the author hours to research and combine all the mysteries. Truly fascinating. Hope it gets made into a movie or series one day!
I was captured through all three books. Totalling enjoyed history, mystery and sci-fi angles. Great gob of melding it all together! I highly recommend The Coordinate series!
Had me worried for bit as I thought the characters had been written into a corner that they couldn't get out of but I really enjoyed it. As mentioned elsewhere, this trilogy is exactly the type of trilogy I would like to write, albeit with a fantasy twist instead of sci-fi.
I really enjoyed the final book in the series. I felt that it took a bit of time to get to the meat of the book and then suddenly it was the end. I really enjoyed seeing the characters continue through the book and I felt we got to know them through the series. I would recommend this book
500 stars!! This was a phenomenal end to a trilogy that gets better and better!! Warning: once you are 75% through this book clear your calendar because you won’t be able to put it down!
Book 1 was good. Book 2 started to make me crazy. Book 3 did drive me so crazy, I skimmed half the book.
Mr. Jacobs is such a show off—wants his readers to be impressed with how much he knows about so many things, and I will admit, having looked up many of his references, that he does know a lot, but his story, which became totally ridiculous in book 3, had one reference after another to history, world travel, astronomy, etc. as if he was attempting to show his readers how smart he is. It got incredibly annoying as I continued to read thru his 2nd & just disgusting in book 3. I have never written a book review before but had to say what I thought here,
