Well, this was a quite irregular series, and that sounds bad.
I'll be blunt: this book begins with a rape. It's openly displayed and it turned my stomach in an unpleasant way. Seriously, very graphic and sad. I opened the book and I found abuse and rape at first sight. Not exactly the best way to start a love story.
However, I'm surprised at what came next. This is not exactly a happy-go-lucky story, and I'm not talking just about the beginning. The series displays topics that I don't usually find in yaoi (so far): the importance of academic success and the effort it takes, being true to oneself in a way that requires to grow up in order to get to that point, the parents' obstacles and the need to find ways to become stronger together despite them.
Nemugasa is a nerd, and he's struggling to get the best marks ever to stay in a very expensive school in order to get into uni. Maya is a thug, and he is the one who takes advantage of Nemugasa. And it goes too far.
Later, Maya decides to do what's best for Nemugasa and for himself, and a sudden change occurs. Little by little, small changes take place in his own person. I want to see that as a way to become worthy of Nemugasa, and it's oh-so-sweet.
In truth their love story is very sweet, but very SEXY and with lots of NAUGHTY times.
Then we have Okino, a secondary character, which is supposed to be cute but struck me as a superficial boy I couldn't stand. He was a major problem for me, but for some reason, he comes into scene very often. Ugh.
And Akira's (Maya's cousin) story, which made me scratch my head from time to time. Seriously, I wonder what this really is about.
There is an obvious lack of continuity in the middle of the story. I admit I have read this in the Manga Rock app, so I'm not sure how many chapters I've missed, but I missed something that happened to Nemugasa with a boy called Ruka, which was apparently Akira's boyfriend's fault. I didn't like feeling lost at this stage of things. I haven't managed to find the parts I missed, what a pity.
All in all, it's an awesome series, but the beginning (1st book) and the ending (5th and 6th books) become weaker for the reasons I've explained before.

Lo dejo en 3 no por nada, sino porque el rollo chantaje me gusta lo justo y el non/con no es mi trope favorito (sólo se lo perdono a mi Senpai ^^ ya lo sabéis)

Insomma... un manga un po'... meh.
L'idea iniziale non mi ha fatto impazzire essendo di fatto un Non-Con dove il povero secchione sfigato è costretto a sottostare al ricatto del bulletto di turno e quindi a concedersi a lui per evitare di essere denunciato come " crudele e malvagio copiatore di compiti in classe" rischiando così di perdere la borsa di studio che ha guadagnato con fatica.
Il manga in seguito cerca di passare al lato più dolcetto e romance mostrandoci come il bulletto in realtà si preoccupi per il suo secchione preferito e ne sia innamorato, cerchi di proteggerlo e alla fine si sente magari un pochetto in colpa per averlo ricattato ma... penso sia difficile ignorare l'inizio... il fatto che se l'altro durante un atto sessuale non è consenziente è uno stupro e... PUNTO.
A mio avviso la storia poteva anche funzionare, ci poteva stare uno stupro iniziale e poi un innamoramento ma... con il giusto tatto e la giusta attenzione... si poteva fare qualcosa di più drammatico per mostrare anche il dolore e l'umiliazione di Nemugasa dopo quello che è successo e come Maya abbia in seguito capito i suoi sbagli ecc... avere la possibilità di riflettere e insieme trovare un compromesso, riuscire ad affrontare questo GRANDISSIMO errore insieme e mostrare anche l'errore più schifoso può essere corretto anche se con fatica invece... tutto sembra non essere successo... Nemugasa si comporta come sempre, Maya fa lo stronzetto e non si fa scrupoli morali ed in seguito è tutto cuoricini... con Takashi che neanche fosse sotto l'effetto della peggior Sindrome di Stoccolma della storia sente la mancanza del bullismo del compagno di classe quando viene "ignorato" e non palpeggiato quindi... meh... a mio avviso è stato trattato male, visto il numero di volumi si poteva fare di più... magari anche senza cadere nel dramma ma comunque mantenere la storia con un tono più serio e non trasformarla in una commedia... ho apprezzato di gran lunga rispetto alla storia principale le one shot "extra", nulla di eccezionale ma storielle abbastanza simpatiche ed erotiche da farmi alzare il voto del volume (che sarebbe stato 2 stelline... se non meno).
Che dire... lo consiglio? Meh... se siete sensibili a certe tematiche e non vi fa piacere che si passi da una violenza a una commedia romantica evitatelo, potreste rimanere turbati o offesi in caso contrario, se volete semplicemente qualcosa di erotico con qualche accenno romance (creepy) allora iniziatelo senza timore

(Comprat de 2a mà volum 1-2 en anglès) Aquest primer volum m'ha semblat força caòtic perquè no m'esperava 3 històries BL alternant-se a cada capítol i m'he fet un gran embolic. D'altra banda, l'inici de la relació Maya-Nemugasa és terrible: una violació amb xantatge i un maltractament injustificat ben difícil de pair. El comportament de la víctima, el Nemugasa, és excessivament ambigu: de vegades tolera l'abús, d'altres es rebel·la per una ximpleria... massa irregular per fer-lo creïble. Havent llegit aquest primer volum és evident que es complirà el clixé de "macarra que maltracta el dèbil, però canvia radicalment perquè se n'enamora". Li dono una oportunitat per les crítiques i perquè tothom diu que obvia el fet que la sèrie comença així de malament... veurem ^^'

This ongoing yaoi series pretty much starts out as your basic rape-y porn without plot. Normally that's an instant turn-off, but I'm glad I stuck with Hidoku Shinaide.
There's so much character development happening throughout the series, and both protagonists grow as seperate individuals just as much as they grow as a couple. So far the story is covering their high school and college experience, but who knows how far it will continue.
(Plus, tons of steamy, kinky sexy times.)

Ch.1 Y Ch.2 - Treat me Gently (3 stars)
Nemugasa, un joven becado en un colegio privado, que se destaca por ser un buen estudiante, un dia hizo trampa en un examen porque estaba desesperado y Masashi quién es un chico popular en el colegio y un poco abuson y vándalo, lo descubrió y para que guardara su secreto Nemugasa accede a que Masashi haga lo que quiera con él.
La historia comienza con Masashi pidiendole a Nemugasa que se quite los pantalones... Al comienzo fué un poco chocante, pero la verdad es que Nemugasa no se veia muy desdichado, al principio si era como, ¿que esta pasando?, pero en un momento ya estaba metido en su papel, aún cuando no sabia muy bien que hacer... Al final es Masashi él que se nota bastante obsesionado con Nemugasa, pero Nemugasa sigue diciendo que solo esta con Masashi por el chantaje...!. Es una historia entretenida de la que me gustaria leer mas. El arte es muy bonito.
Ch 3 - After School secret (1 star)
Shiba y Aki - son dos niños (parecian niños) experimentanto sexualmente por primera vez.
Ch 4 - In love with your selfishness (2 stars)
Daijuu y Kan - Son una pareja, Daijuu es el chico perfecto en todo, excepto en que su amante es Kan, Kan es increiblemente egoista y malcriado, siente celos de y por Daijuu. No me gusta Kan y preferiria a Daijuu con otra persona.
Ch 5 - Mischievous Underpants y Ch 6 - Don remove my seifuku (Uniforme) (2 stars)
Soramoto y Hoshina - Son una pareja dispareja, donde claramente Hoshina esta enamorado de Soramoto y Soramoto dice que esta solo por pasar el tiempo... Que obvio no es asi, pero eso dice. Estuvo bien, en el ch 5 Soramoto tenia uno calzoncillos y no queria que Hoshi los viera y en el ch 6 Sora dice que quiere salir con una chica, entonces Hoshi se pone un uniforme femenino de marinerita..
Luego en el Ch 6 hay una serie de oneshot o extras de las historias anteriores, la única que realmente me gustaría seguir leyendo y ver su evolución, es la primera historia, la de Nemugasa y Masashi, de resto me dan un poco igual, ese es mi problema con los oneshots, es difici engancharse bien con la historia. Tal vez en el volumenes siguientes alguna otra de las historias mejore.

upon re-reading the entire series this is the worst probably in all of them.
I fully know it was published a long time ago just on the dawn on yaoi when every single manga featured a r@pe as a romatic trait which got "resolved" and labelled as miscommunication trope.
the first volume consist of +18 rated materials. it was clearly a tentatively started series which explains why the main couple got only 2 chapters worth of screentime.
the first chapter features r@pe instead of the romantic confessing scene .
the second chapter features abuse both mentally and physically and we can already guess that Maya has absolutely no idea how to behave socially.
the 3+4+5 chapters are on completely unrelated characters and they are young i mean minor young and not the 16-17 years olds like maya and nemu. these oneshot chapters are on boys way younger which is considered shota chategory and its just disgusting in my opinion. i knew them from before and i just skipped them because they give me a sour taste and i dont wanna think of one of my favorite author as someone who encourages the sexualization of middle school children.

My favourite shipping ever. Once I have my own place to live , I will make sure to support this series because the amount of feels i have in this book is HDJIPAPAOSS. Every character has their own set of persona which I find really enjoyable and interesting . However , I do agree with what many people say as well, the first volume was a little...unsettling. The series starts with rape which may turn off many readers , me as well, but as I continued with the story , I really loved the character development of both Nemugasa and Maya. I seriously wish this’ll happen to me but it’s impossible LOL. Guys! Please take a good look at this manga!!

April 12, 2026Literalmente ayer me levanté y lo primero que pensé fue: quiero leer algo que me queme el cerebro, algo taaaaaan malo que me distraiga de mi vida por 15 minutos y retomé después de AÑOS esta historia.
I'm not gonna lie, this shit is so bad it physically hurts. Como me vas a querer vender con ese primer capitulo que a Maya siempre le gustó Nemugasa 😭
Por el momento leeré toda la serie de nuevo (porque no tengo nada mejor que hacer JAJAJA) pero lo que más me duele es lo precioso del estilo de dibujo (me refiero a más adelante porque por el momento tienen las proporciones de un yaoi de los 80s) y que la historia sea una verdadera basura 😩

Sinceramente ci ho capito poco...ogni capitolo è praticamente una coppia diversa che si salta addosso...di alcuni praticamente non sappiamo nemmeno il nome...(e alcuni hanno dei nomi veramente impronunciabili...che cavolo di scioglilingua!).
All'inizio credevo fossero i tizi che si vedevano nel primo numero di Electric Delusion, ma non credo siano gli stessi...bho...

I have mixed feelings about how this story begins. The start of this couples “romance” is horrible. No way around it. But the rest is wonderful. Not always happy and perfect but a normal real relationship. With al the problems and insecurities that come with it. It helps to make up for the bad beginning, doesn’t make it right, but it does help.

Rape at the beginning... Why? Just, why? If you can get through it, later it does get better. But blackmailing a person into having sex with you IT'S NOT OK. Why do so many yaoi mangas have to include it? No. Just no.

Nemugasa si comporta come sempre, Maya fa lo stronzetto e non si fa scrupoli morali ed in seguito è tutto cuoricini... con Takashi che neanche fosse sotto l'effetto della peggior Sindrome di Stoccolma della storia sente la mancanza del bullismo del compagno di classe quando viene "ignorato" e non palpeggiato quindi... meh... a mio avviso è stato trattato male, visto il numero di volumi si poteva fare di più... magari anche senza cadere nel dramma ma comunque mantenere la storia con un tono più serio e non trasformarla in una commedia... ho apprezzato di gran lunga rispetto alla storia principale le one shot "extra", nulla di eccezionale ma storielle abbastanza simpatiche ed erotiche da farmi alzare il voto del volume (che sarebbe stato 2 stelline... se non meno).
Che dire... lo consiglio? Meh... se siete sensibili a certe tematiche e non vi fa piacere che si passi da una violenza a una commedia romantica evitatelo, potreste rimanere turbati o offesi in caso contrario, se volete semplicemente qualcosa di erotico con qualche accenno romance (creepy) allora iniziatelo senza timore
L'idea iniziale non mi ha fatto impazzire essendo di fatto un Non-Con dove il povero secchione sfigato è costretto a sottostare al ricatto del bulletto di turno e quindi a concedersi a lui per evitare di essere denunciato come " crudele e malvagio copiatore di compiti in classe" rischiando così di perdere la borsa di studio che ha guadagnato con fatica.
Il manga in seguito cerca di passare al lato più dolcetto e romance mostrandoci come il bulletto in realtà si preoccupi per il suo secchione preferito e ne sia innamorato, cerchi di proteggerlo e alla fine si sente magari un pochetto in colpa per averlo ricattato ma... penso sia difficile ignorare l'inizio... il fatto che se l'altro durante un atto sessuale non è consenziente è uno stupro e... PUNTO.
A mio avviso la storia poteva anche funzionare, ci poteva stare uno stupro iniziale e poi un innamoramento ma... con il giusto tatto e la giusta attenzione... si poteva fare qualcosa di più drammatico per mostrare anche il dolore e l'umiliazione di Nemugasa dopo quello che è successo e come Maya abbia in seguito capito i suoi sbagli ecc... avere la possibilità di riflettere e insieme trovare un compromesso, riuscire ad affrontare questo GRANDISSIMO errore insieme e mostrare anche l'errore più schifoso può essere corretto anche se con fatica invece... tutto sembra non essere successo...
