Lia Blosky is a police officer—a good, honest, smart cop. But she’ll never get ahead for those very reasons. She thinks she knows what’s going on in the precinct but proving it is a different matter. What she does know is that her little brother ignored her advice of staying away from the Valesky crime family. He didn’t. Now Lia is making no secret that she is out to get everyone who had anything to do with his death. That’s a dangerous claim to make if the very people you count on to back you up in the field have allegiances elsewhere.
Adrian Kalin is a special agent with the FBI but he’s also Dimitri Valesky’s stepson. Thank God no one knows! He hates being involved in any way with Valesky, but the man is devious as well as dangerous and he has found a way to weave his mafia web around each of his stepsons to make them do things they despise. The web? Keep them close to do Valesky’s bidding—inside information, tracking people, making deals—all to benefit the organization. The bait Valesky uses to keep everyone in line? Their mother, and the threat that Valesky will hurt one of the other brothers.
When Adrian is ordered to find and murder a pesky cop making noise about killing Dimitri, Valesky has finally crossed the line with Adrian…unless she’s so willful he has no choice but to kill her. She’s beautiful and talented and a real handful. But if it comes down to her or his mother or one of his brothers, she’s a goner.
I hadn’t read Target, so I wondered if I’d get lost in details about the family and characters in Privilege. Tina’s excellent writing made sure that didn’t happen. The books are truly stand alone. I found Privilege to be exciting without lots of shoot-‘em-up scenes or bodies littered everywhere. These characters used their brains first and brawn second, which made the book more thrilling. Of course, Lia and Adrian light up the night with their attraction and the book is steamy—something I like. The suspense is tangible, the characters compelling. I’m going back to read Target, and an author can’t get a better endorsement that that. I recommend Privilege!

This was a simply wonderful and captivating read that was filled with so much information it held your attention completely and it is simply impossible to put the book down until you reach the end of the book and discover the outcome.
District Cop Lia Blotsky had her twin brother murdered by the Valesky Crime Family and it is without a doubt a certainty that she is going to seek retribution, she is going to kill the man. responsible even if it costs her, her life.
Special Agent Adrian Kalin carries a heavy secret as he is not only a well-respected Agent, he is also the Valesky Family head of retribution and taking out anyone his stepfather wants murdered so that his mother and brothers are left in peace but how long can this continue.
Ever since he was sent to kill Lia Blotsky and realised that in fact, she was out to kill his stepfather and was willing to do whatever it takes, however as he kidnapped her and realised that they were both searching for the same thing the death of his stepfather.
Read this passion filled book and discover how this couple come together and find a mission they both want to finish and will do whatever it takes to succeed. All he wants is to keep this amazing woman that he now realises he cares deeply for and also has to ensure that his mother and his brothers are kept safe and there is only one sure way.

She wants to get vengeance for the death of her twin, but her own police department and partner on the force won’t help her. In fact, they seem to be stalling her and ignoring her claims. District Cop Lia Blosky is now alone in the world, with the exception of her neighbor Mama L. Lia’s lost a lot since her family immigrated to the US. However, the worst loss is her twin and the way she lost him. Now she’s determined to make those involved pay. The only problem is that the people she’s after are dangerous and already have Lia in their sights.
Special Agent Adrian Kalin wants to break away from his family, along with two of his brothers that just want to live their lives on their terms but being the stepson of a mob leader is not easy. It’s not easy to live your life without him making threats for favors or for making a man do his dirty work. When Adrian’s stepfather, Dimitri Valesky orders him to get rid of the woman that wants to kill him, Adrian is put in tough situation and if he doesn’t do as he’s told those he loves will pay.
I really liked this story, and the characters were great. The story is action and suspense packed. Lia is a smart woman that is always thinking things through to get the results she wants, and Adrian is a man that has been on the edge for so long under his stepfather’s thumb that he can’t seem to see a way out. When Lia convinces Adrian that her plan will work, they have to go through a lot to get the results they are hoping for. I loved the mall scene and Lia’s grit and determination to stay alive and escape Adrian was both smart and dangerous, but she felt that she had nothing else to lose. Her willingness to die for what she believes shows her character and unfortunately, her loneliness in the world. This was the first book I read in this series, but I was not lost as to what was going on because Ms. Donahue covered what was needed from book 1 to know what was going on in book 2. I give this story a 4-star review and look forward to more in the series.

This is book two in The Valesky Crime Family Series and it is Adrian and Lia's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Adrian is a FBI Agent as well as part of The Valesky Crime Family which is not known to most people so when his brother Vik calls telling him that he needs help to convince Lia that she is on a suicide mission trying to kill Dimitri but will Adrian be able to do that. Lia is DC Cop and when her brother is savagely murdered she is determined to take down and kill the people responsible regardless of what happens to her in the process. Dimitri is Adrian's step father and not only is he a mafia man but he is also evil and has so many people in his pocket and will eliminate anyone standing in his way regardless of who it is and when he gives Adrian orders to kill Lia or Adrian's mother and brother's will suffer he is in a very tricky situation. When Lia and Adrian meet they have a instant attraction between them but Lia is such a firecracker that she gives Adrian so many problems but they will have to work together to deal with the situation at hand and hopefully get out alive. Omg I was absolutely addicted to this book and I couldn't put it down and had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and it was so emotional with everything that they have been through in there lives and it was action packed with many twists and turns along the way and I can't wait to read more books in this series as they are definitely worth reading.

In this second book of the Valesky Crime Family series we get the captivating story of Adrian and Lia. Lia is a district cop who's twin brother was murdered by the Valesky Crime Family and she is out for blood determined to avenge her brother no matter what even if it kills her. Adrian is an FBI agent who's harboring a huge secret not only is he a respected agent he's also part of the Valesky Crime Family he's the one they call when his stepfather wants someone murdered. He's only doing it to protect his mother and his brothers but he can't go on like this. When he's sent to kill Lia and he realizes that she's willing to do whatever it takes to kill his stepfather he realizes they want the same thing. You need to read this passionate story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

I really enjoyed this book so much the author does a amazing job writing books from the ones I have read so far! These characters are strong will and will do anything for there families. Even though this series can be read as standalone books I enjoyed reading the first book and then this one both have crime and a strong family bonding which I love! There are some funny parts with characters which makes it even harder to put the book done. If you’re looking for binge worthy book with crazy things happen, a step dad who makes everyone reading the book wants to kill in my opinion, some awesome characters with crime involved it feels like ever page, and of course some awesome scenes between the characters this is the book for you!!! You could easily call it a enemies to lovers book also to trust me your love this book if you’re anything like me:)

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I was pulled into the story from the beginning by the characters. I enjoyed how relateable they were and how they kept the story engaging. This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. This is a story of revenge and a game of life or death. There is an attraction between Lia and Adrian that they keep fighting. Will they give in to this forbidden attraction? I enjoyed their chemistry as well as their growth throughout the story. They brought alot to the story and made the story for me. This is a great pick up that I highly recommend.

Lia is a cop with revenge on herind after her brothers death but going after Dimitri will do more harm than good especially for FBI agent Adrian, Dimitri is Adrian's step father and when he gives orders to kill can he go through with it? Well written suspense, desires, action packed and more!

I absolutely love this hot, steamy, captivating book with exceptional characters in an erotic world that is so realistic it felt like I was on the journey with them. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author that knows how to captivate the attention of their readers.
