The world used to belong to humans until the supernaturals took it over. They crawled out of the depths of depravity to take whatever they wanted from us. Nowhere is safe now, not for humans at least.
As an ER nurse, I see the worst of the attacks on humanity. I'm stationed in the vampire sector, where the cause of death is often substantial blood loss and ripped-out throats. They get covered up time and time again by the Supernatural Council. Each time it leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
I've never put much thought into the other supernaturals since vampires own this sector which makes them the greatest threat to my life. Or so I stupidly thought. One night out changes everything and the woman that walks away is not the same one I was before.

I just finished reading 'Vampire Kissed,' Book 1 of ‘Supernaturally Yours’ series by S Lucas over the weekend! (I am just a regular reader, not affiliated with the author, reading is JUST hobby, and I am not in the biz!)
Disclaimer: this book is NOT for everyone! (Pssst... any of ya'll that follow my reviews know I'm a BIG fan of trying new authors AND trying a WIDE range of books in the paranormal/fantasy/supernatural genres ... and this is a NEW author AND a book on the dark end of that spectrum!)
Below is a list of key elements that will help you decide if it is for you! There are no spoilers!
🌹 Dark Reverse Harem (RH) with TRIGGERS ⚠️️(HEED Author's Warnings at the beginning of the book!!!!!!)
🌹 First Book of a series (but it's essentially a STANDALONE as each book is different characters in the same world)
🌹 Less than 300 pages
🌹 Paranormal Romance EROTICA (this means HOT 🔥 STEAM 🍆🌶)
🌹 Tiny bit of M/M (but it's primarily one girl with 3 vampire guys)
🌹 Modern, 1st person PRESENT POV good writing (multiple POVs)

🌹 A big draw of the book is the protectiveness of the guys over her & wanting to take care of her (that's what kept me reading 👏!) ... lots of considerate moments on their behalf that sort of melted my heart a little 🥰🥰🥰 (dude hands her the tv remote to make her feel better 🥺🥺🥺)
🌹 Really good 🔥 scenes that were more realistic & not over the top (experienced RH reader should find them refreshing and newbie RH reader should not be too overwhelmed!)

Demi literally goes through hell from the start of the book to the and although some parts where very dark I loved the entire story and seeing the story unfold.
I absolutely loved Bane. Bane has a marshmallow center and only for Demi 🥰. He is one of my favourite characters In the book!
Diego is a shameless flirt! I absolutely loved him and the moments he had with Jax!
Jax is definitely sir asshole throughout the book and to a certain extent I can understand why but the amount of time I wished he would fall on his face throughout the book was to many to keep track off 🤣!
Jax, Diego and Bane are possessive and I loved their relationship with Demi🥰!!
I loved this book and would definitely recommend it but ensure you check the TW before starting it!

Loved it but....
I really enjoyed this book, I loved Demi and the guys. It is an extremely dark book with a lot of graphic trauma, like a lot. And the only reason I took off a star is because I really felt that no matter how hardened to life/nursing/life events, the trauma that Demi experienced, the trauma that happened to her best friend that she watched, and the girl in the wolf cave, really should have had a bit more of an effect on a person. I just felt it was asking me as a reader for slightly too much suspension of disbelief. But other than that, I really enjoyed this book!

I thought the book was stunning. The plot was extraordinary. The characters were badass. Bane was my favorite because I believe that would have been my choice. I love the twist on the supernaturals. I hope there will be a book two. I couldn’t help but devour that book fairly quickly.

Vampire Kissed is a Dark RH Paranormal romance. So be warned that near the beginning of this book a graphic event might upset some folks. It was a bit of a hard read for me too.
With everything that stems from that event, what happened to her family and her job as a ER nurse Demi (FMC) has had her fare share of dealing with trauma and violence caused by Supernaturals first hand. Only that her rescuers in this book are 3 hot Vampires - Bane, Diego and Jax arent remotely like how they should be to her. I liked their dynamic with Demi. Steamy as hell, protective but witty at times too. Oh and that ending was just knockout!! Ill be on tenterhooks until book 2

What an amazing book!!
Demi is a bada$$ ER nurse who’s seen it all. She meets the guys, and everything takes a dark turn for her.
It’s full of action from start to finish, there’s all the feels, and the sizzle jumps off the page, it’s that good! Really enjoyed this book, and cannot wait for the next one.

This book surprised the heck out of me. I was not expecting a RH when I started reading it but I was here for it. Demetria Arnold is just trying to survive. The world has been taken over by supernaturals. Humans are no longer in control. Demi is a ER nurse and sees what happens on a regular basis. After her parents were killed, Demi vowed to be careful. The one night she threw caution to the wind, she was attacked. Demi was saved from the brink of death by vampires. The one supernatural that she vowed to stay away from.
Jax owned Dark Desires, a club for vampires. He had to help of Bane, security, and Diego, bartender. They were all instantly drawn to Demi as soon as she walked into the door. After finding her, they vowed to keep her safe but only one of them knew what was happening. Jax could not lose Demi the way he had lost a previous partner so he forced not only himself but Bane and Diego to stay away from Demi. Is the pull too strong for these vampires? Until they find the wolves that are after Demi, she will stay with them. The struggle is real for all of them. No one understands why Jax is so adamant.
Everything comes out in the open after Demi is taken. They have to use their connection to Demi to find her. They find much more than they bargained for. Vampire Kissed, the first book in the Supernaturally Yours series by S. Lucas is a deliciously dark read that grabs you right from the start and never lets you go, taking you on a twisted turbulent ride. Needless to say S. Lucas did NOT disappoint! The world building, character development and plot all flowers beautifully together and the steam was spot on!

Pleasantly surprised
I did not expect to like this book, I thought it

Such an amazing read
In this book we meet Demi, and the storyline kicks off quickly and pulls you in deep. We see her leaving work and going to meet her friend Ginny at a club. This is when we see many things happen to Demi. Some good and also some possibly triggering moments for some.
But this does not take away from what we see happen between Demi, Bane, Diego and Jax. They all go down many twists and turns especially when the wolves return. But ultimately this book ends on such an amazing and also steamy ending each of them deserves.

Please read triggers if you have an issue with certain aspects of dark and / or twisty.
Demi hates anything to do with the supernatural beings, especially Vampires, since the brutal un@l!Ving of her parents. She avoids anything to do with them so what is she to do when vampires save her life and she starts having feelings for all of them. You must read to see what happens.

It takes quite an author to make be hate on my wolves lol, she did an amazing job making them the bad guys. that ending makes me impatient for book two to come out ASAP.. you will love it!!

Absolutely Love a great Vampire book but add spice to it! And a why choose! Definitely a wonderful combination!! I adore S Lucas and. Love that their writing is so diverse and has a little bit for everyone!

Vampire Kissed by S. Lucas is one of those darkly delicious novels that will grab you and keep you page-turning. I ate this book up!
This book has some seriously dark elements and the author makes a point of noting them for those who might find them upsetting. Read the warnings before you pick up this book because the author is not playing! I was honestly shocked by this book, but I couldn't put it down. I enjoy the dark and twisted, and the author does not disappoint at all. I kept thinking "someone is going to come and help" but no one does and that's really where my shock came from.
This is a standalone novel, but there promises to be more with the epilogue. I'm looking forward to it. I love how this story starts out. The world once belonged to humans, but when the supes came out of the woodwork everything changed. I love the breakdown of this world, and honestly I'd eat up books that give me something from each section. Demi is a mixed bag of a character. She is sensible over all, but then she goes off the rails quite a bit. I honestly thought that she'd be more reserved after everything that happens, but apparently not since she's quick to start jumping the guys. LOL! I gave Jax wide eyes more than once. No joke. I get brash, but dude! This guy takes "to the point" a little too much to heart. LOL! Dance around the answers a little bit man! Just a little!
This book is packed with steamy moments, but don't think that the dark moments are too far away. They are always there lurking in the shadows waiting to strike and I loved it.
I'm rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I can't wait to read the next book.

I was really excited to read this book based solely on the blurb and I was drawn into it from page one.
Demi is a human stuck in a world ruled by supernaturals. As an ER nurse, she's seen what the monsters can do- and how much is willing to be overlooked and covered up. She also knows what the monsters can do by a first-hand account, she believes her parents' murder was more than a robbery gone wrong but nobody, including her brother, believes her. One night she and her best friend go out for a night on the town only for that night to become her nightmares. What happens after will change the way that Demi sees the world and who the monsters are.
This book was phenomenal, there were some dark themes in there that I wasn't too keen on and slightly put me off (though I skipped those lines a bit to get back to the story). The characters are great and really draw you in; there is a clear definition in the bad guys and the good guys as well so there is no question or confusion. Fantastic world-building and descriptions, the writing flows really well, and is very easy to read- in fact, you won't want to put it down!

This RH PNR is dark, violent, and twisted, and I really recommend to read the trigger warning first, otherwise you may find out this book is more than you can take. But if no dark themes are a showstopper, then go for it. Demi is a fierce woman, working as ER nurse, being now targeted by rogue trespassers in the vampire sector. How cruel and dangerous they are she can experience firsthand - at the beginning just being forced to watch the fate of her friend Ginny, after being kidnapped she has to experience the torment too. Maybe it is a blessing then that her heart calls for three vampires who seem to also be interested in her.
Aside from the dark themes, brutal world, and crazy villains, the story itself is rather good. The characters are very individual, each with their own ghosts, issues, and flaws. There is certainly enough steam and enough frustration when it comes to the RH relationship, lots of tension, and some moments that bring smile upon the readers face. I am sure every RH fan can even pick their favorite in the harem as Bane, Diego, and Jax represent completely different personality types - and yet function well together.
Aside from the dark themes, brutal world, and crazy villains, the story itself is rather good. The characters are very individual, each with their own ghosts, issues, and flaws. Oh my god what a great read!! I 100 percent recommend this!
I love a good vampire book and this was just that, probably one of the best I've read yet!
The whole storyline is amazing, I absolutely loved the FMC she is strong and at times you just want to hug her. Loved all of the guys, it had a nice range, Diego was the cheeky one, Bane was the serious and protective one and Jax was the alphahole!
The book follows Demi a nurse, who goes to a club with her friend. This club turns out to be a vampire club, a bunch of wolves show up and I won't say entirely what happens but they are after her. She is saved by the guys who are actually vampires and taken back to theirs, they are all drawn to each other. Their is twists and turns but I won't say much else or else I will spoil it.
Also that epilogue!! It definitely leaves you needing to read the next one.
Overall a fantastic read and I cannot wait to read the next book.

The whole storyline is amazing, I absolutely loved the FMC she is strong and at times you just want to hug her. Loved all of the guys, it had a nice range, Diego was the cheeky one, Bane was the serious and protective one and Jax was the alphahole!
The book follows Demi a nurse, who goes to a club with her friend. This club turns out to be a vampire club, a bunch of wolves show up and I won't say entirely what happens but they are after her. She is saved by the guys who are actually vampires and taken back to theirs, they are all drawn to each other. Their is twists and turns but I won't say much else or else I will spoil it.
Also that epilogue!! It definitely leaves you needing to read the next one.
Overall a fantastic read and I cannot wait to read the next book.

I really enjoyed this story. Demi lives in a world run by supernaturals, but as an ER nurse she only really gets to see the gruesome side.
After a horrific night out with her best friend, Demi comes under the protection of 3 vampires, who seem determined to show her that they're not all as bad as she believes.
Just a little warning, please read the triggers before reading. I must admit that I often skip books with these triggers but I'm glad I didn't, they do really add to the story.
I enjoyed the relationship between Demi and the guys, they were all different but worked really well together. My favourite has to be Bane, he was such a teddy bear. She definitely stood up for herself, and not just for the sake of it to prove a point. I love how she dealt with Jax.
Even though this is technically a standalone, it is part of a shared world series and I can't wait for the next book after that epilogue.

This was a dark and emotional , steamy standalone RH. I was hooked within the first few pages! Demi is a really well done female lead. I really enjoyed the character growth we saw in her. She has experienced a lot of trauma in her life, that being said, please take the trigger warnings into consideration before reading this book. There are definitely parts that are very dark and possibly difficult for some to read. If they are not an issue for you, read away! I thought this was well paced. There is a lot of information to fit into one book and I felt the author did a great job with the flow and consistency. Jackson, Diego and Bane are also really well fleshed out, with distinct personalities and I really enjoyed their POV , it really added to the depth of the story , and it was fun to hear their perspective when it came to their feelings towards Demi. This entire story had me staying up way too late, completely engrossed and sleep deprived but it was totally worth it. I enjoyed the conclusion, it was a very satisfying end and I look forward to more from S. Lucas!

I love a good paranormal book and this one did not disappoint. It’s not your typical vampire book and I found it really refreshing to read something different.
I loved Demi, she’s had a rough life but even from the beginning she is such a strong woman, despite experiencing things that would make others break. She’s sassy, sexy and relatable and you can’t help but love her.
Diego is easy to fall in love with from the moment we see him, he’s cocky, funny and sweet, a deadly combination for anyone’s heart. Bane is the big friendly giant who there is more to than what we first see and as the book progresses you can’t help but fall in love with him. Jax is the a$$hole of the group but as we get to learn what makes him this way, the walls around your heart crumble and you find yourself rooting for him as much as the other guys.
I’m looking forward to the next book!

I wasn't expecting this book to be as emotional and beautiful but damn it was.
I absolutely loved this book.
Demi omg I just wanted to hug her and give her high five everytime she greeted Jax with the special name he received.
Bane omg I think I love this big teddy bear, he was so sweet,I love it when people write about big scary guys and makes them out to be the most loving guys ever.
Diego omg that cheeky little monkey, I can guarantee a night out with that guy would never be dull.
Jax literal alphahole in all ways that count but we know he had his reasons to push aside demi but seriously I wanted to junk punch him everytime he was a douche.
Can't wait to see what happens next especially after that little sneak peek

I was drawn into this book from page one. Demi is a human stuck in a world ruled by supernaturals. As an ER nurse she's seen what the monsters can do. Also, she knows what the monsters can do first hand but no one believes her parents murder was more than a robbery gone wrong. Her and her best friend go out for a night on the town only for that night to become her nightmares. She is rescued by hot vamps that she always thought the worst of. They show her a different side of themselves and she has no clue what to do about the pull she has to them. I loved every bit of this story and and Demi's journey. I definitely recommend it.

Beyond intense! Please read the warning of triggers. There are some dark triggers. Our heroine of Demi is one insanely strong both mentally and emotionally. She is a human living in a world where vampires, shifters and demons rule. Humans try to live a normal life but being an ER nurse means she sees some very hard things. She has experienced these monsters but not all monsters are bad but plenty of them are even worse. The story follows Demi through some extreme circumstances that will have you on the edge of your seat. Be forewarned that this isn’t a sweet fairytale romance but a story of heartache and pain that only the strong will survive.

A fantastic Dark Romance.
This is the first book of S lucas I have read and at first I was a bit unsure as it reminds me of Rory Miles blood owed.
But I hold my hands up I was totally wrong .
Vampire Kissed drew me in from the first chapter and kept me hooked till the very last page, Demi was a no nonsense tough lady who despite everything life had to throw at her kept going. Bane was definitely my favourite although Jax and Diego each had there own unique qualities.
Although this was a stand alone I dont think this is the last we have seen of Demi and her men.
Looking forward to reading lila's story.
